It’s been a minute since I read the first book so, I’m grateful Catching Feelings picked up right where Catching Flights ended. The drama, toxic behavior, messiness, and pettiness literally starts from the opening scene. Kendall and Renee did not disappoint. If you thought their sibling rivalry was on ten in book one, it reached a whole new level of anger, jealousy, and envy in this one. The things Renee did to keep a man that didn’t want to be kept was exhausting and downright embarrassing. Like, girl, where is your dignity?!!! She just refused to acknowledge Victor wanted nothing to do with her. Oh, but karma showed up, showed out, and parked her foot right on Renee’s neck. She put somethin’ on that azz penicillin couldn’t cure. Honestly, though, after all the shyt Renee did, I still think she got off too easy. And, that’s probably because there was no redemption from her. I just kept waiting, and waiting, and waiting for her to show an ounce of remorse and regret for everything she did and offer up an apology or two. But, when she told Kendall she hoped her baby died, I knew then that heffa couldn’t be saved. Kim worked my last damn nerve with her judgmental azz. How you gon’ chastise Victor for being a carbon copy of KJ?!!! You know, the man you forgave for doing the exact same thing?!!! I guess Kim and her selective memory temporarily forgot Kendall and Renee are the same age. And, every time you turned around, she was offering Renee’s crazy azz a shoulder to cry on. Ma’am, I’ma need you to remember who TF your daughter is. The secret tea runneth over and spilled everywhere because, honey, the bombs were droppin’ left and right in this book. Everybody’s shyt was aired out and exposed. You could’ve bought me for less than a peso when Rickie’s secret was revealed. Chiiiiiiile, I had to go grab a bottle of wine for that one because, I definitely didn’t see that comin’! Whew! Catching Feelings more than lived up to its predecessor and it owes me absolutely nothing. If I could give it ten stars, I would. This book was filled with everything we love and expect from Ladii Nesha. Her signature humor, a storyline full of toxic characters, and plenty of raunchy sex. Everyone who deserved a HEA got one. Hell, even Gina’s traitorous azz managed to come out on top and I ain’t even mad. If you have not read this series, I implore you to do so. You will not be disappointed. Trust me when I say Kendall, Alan, Sidney, Victor, and Juice are going to entertain TF out of you.

At this point, I need an HBO comedy special from Ladii Nesha because it don’t make no sense how naturally funny she is. True to her signature style of writing, I laughed this entire book!
The book picks up exactly where “Catching Flights” left off and the shenanigans were instantaneous! These characters feel like part of the family! The way this author brought their individual stories to life was so relatable. Renee was in rare form in this book! I’m not surprised at the lengths she went through to get what she wanted but like everyone told her karma found her as$ and was like tag you’re it!
I didn’t like Kim at all in this book. How could she be so forgiving of Dxck em down KJ but hold such disdain for Victor. Not to mention how harsh she was with Kendall when Renee was guilty of the exact same thing! 🤔🤨
Some relationships were mended while ties were severed with others. Secrets were exposed and all of our questions answered! Ladii Nesha will get an instant click from me. I’d almost stop mid read to dive into a release from her! I loved this series and definitely recommend it!
P.S. that Epilogue was hilarious. Teacup must go to daycare with King and Bambi’s twins 🤣😩

Kendall and Victor got their HEA, Sydney and Mel got their HEA, Alan and Rickie got their HEA, and even Gina's scandalous self got her own version of HEA. But, that sneaky and conniving a** Renee got exactly what she had coming to her and that's all that really matters. Catching Feelings was the perfect conclusion and I'm so sad we've come to the end for these characters.

everybody got what they deserved.. in the order they deserved it. these characters were so relatable ..i literally laughed my way through this entire series.
#1.. ALAN, my fav character from beginning to end.. HILARIOUS and a true ROD friend.
i love that sidney found love in mel after jarvus dog ass.
juice? loveddd his character! would've loved to see him find a love interest and be happy in the end. (possibly cami.. for laughs and giggles😂)
kendell & victor.. absolutely loved their development from how they met as a one night stand to forever lovers. loved that kendell was so real and true to her emotions. loved also how she owned her body (physically and sexually)! loved how the relationship with her parents evolved.. i think the relationship with KJ was one of the most relatable subjects. the fact that they went from enemies to him being bedside during labor? everything. loveeee this couple..catching flights and feelings!
last but not least.. renee conniving, vindictive, hateful, degrading ass!!!!! she got EVERYTHING she deserved and more. karma is THAT bitch and she is rolling allllllll over her past. victor was right.. a living hell is definitely where she relies.

This was an entertaining read. It was packed FULL of messiness. Sibling rivalry like I’ve never seen before. I really enjoyed Kendall. She was carefree, confident but she really had some growing up to do and some daddy issues to deal with. Her half sister Renee was a nasty piece of work. She was so hateful that she made it hard to even feel sorry for her. I couldn’t stand her so much- I hate to even talk about her in this review. I side eyed Kendall’s mom a lot because at the end of the day - who is YOUR child? I understand she recognized Renee had issues but Renee was a loose cannon who could have done serious damage to Kendall.
Alan was a fav. He kept me laughing. I actually loved the friendship between Alan, Kendall, and Sydney.
And Victor? 🥰 such a stand up guy BUT he could have been more firm with Renee. He also kept giving in to her after her stories weren’t making sense.

This Was A Ride
This was a good story…I love the parts of this story that kept me laughing…let me tell you Juice and Eve were both funny as hell….I love that Victor & Kendall finally got to their HEA…it was a ride, but they finally made it.

Feelings all over the place
Whew the drama was at an all time high. Ms. Nesha knows how to write some flawed as$ hilarious characters and this book was no different. It picks up right where Catching Flight left off.
Kendall and Renee were half sisters that were complete opposites and didn't care for each other at all. Mainly because Renee was a spiteful hater. Kendall was extremely confident in who she was, she didn't bite her tongue, was thick and fine, loyal, and a free spirit. Renee on the other hand was a follower with low self esteem, bitter, lacked accountability, and was constantly biting the hands that were feeding her. Renee was always trying to find her next come up any way she could find it, while Kendall worked hard for hers and needed no handouts. They were dissimilar, but seemed to have similar taste in men. I'm still trying to figure out how either of them entertained broke as$ borderline dirty Greg. He was so cringey. Victor was well everything. As the DRAMA unfolded around the paternity of their children I was stunned by all the foolery. Renee was grimey and gave no fu#ck$ about doing the right thing. She literally cared about no one, her mission was to do everything possible to secure the bag, but Karma was waiting for her heavy and she deserved it all. Kendall had some growing pains...her nonchalant care free way of life had finally humbled her. Here she was catching feelings and she had no idea how to handle it. Ken tried hard to push Victor away, but he wasn't having it at all. I swear I was tired for him because between Renee and Kendall he had his hands full. He was a good man though, and tried his best to handle his responsibilities.
The plot was dramatic, but I swear I cracked up throughout this entire book. Juice, Victor's baby brother remained hella wild. He needs his own story. Alan and Sidney were an amazing support system for Kendall. Alan was so over the top and I loved every minute of it.
I wanted more of Kendall and Victor the epilogue. Other than that it was an excellent read. You will laugh and connect with the characters.

Pure. Comedy. And all the drama. These people had me skresseddd. When I say Ladii Nesha can do no wrong in my eyes best believe I mean it. I was in stitches from laughing throughout this entire series. I thought I was gonna highlight this entire book.
Like the wit of the comebacks from the characters and the scenes was like watching you favorite limited series. I could not put these books down. The author can really teach a master class on the art of side characters, too. Alan was hilarious EVERY time he stepped on the scene. I understood Kendall so much. She was hurting, but I loved her growth. I felt bad for Victor but I was side eyeing him too. Renee was despicable, but such a good antagonist because I actually started to feel bad for her and despise her at the same this. Like this book could be a show or a play!! Definitely gonna be reading more from LN’s catalog.

She left us with our mouths hanging open with Catching Flights, but trust me... Sis took care of us in Catching Feelings.
Enjoy the drama unfolding as only Nesha can do with these folks that have us in stitches every single time. Mr. Pilot & Kendall definitely goin through and Renee still ain't making it easy! But Teacup's fairy godmother still keeps it together!

Toxic and messy! Ladii Nesha is becoming the queen of both; in my opinion lawwwd, the drama and messiness in this book were top-tier. After reading Catching Flights, I jumped right into this book because I wasn’t ready to jump off this crazy ride 😂.
I still stand by what I said in my review of Catching Flights Kendall is my girl! I still love everything about her… pettiness, messiness, and level of audacity keeps me going because she is not here to play with the girls 😆. Alan is still my favorite however, he is tied with Juice because those two are hilarity at its best.
I’m honestly sitting here writing this review and cheesing so hard my cheeks hurt. I’m starting to question my sanity because the recklessness in this book had me smiling like a beautiful love connection was happening🤦🏾♀️

Ladii Nesha strikes again! Sis does not miss!!!! If you’re looking for a messy good time then look no further. This series is it.
Half sisters Kendall and Renee are like oil and water, the two just don’t mix. Kendall, even though she hates her father KJ, is just like him. She dates like a man and avoids commitment like the plague. Kendall is a flight attendant and loves jet setting around the world with her two best friends who are also flight attendants. Sis is living her best life. She’s normally easy going and unbothered with the exception of one person. Her half sister Renee. Renee who also has daddy issues is tormented by her past. Her father was the love ‘em and leave ‘em type and that’s exactly what he did to her mother. The trauma that Renee and her mother shared over the absence of KJ creates the heartless and conniving woman Renee is today. She’s a gold digger and basically looking for a come up and will literally do anything to keep up with the Joneses’. Renee has always been jealous of Kendall and will do all she can to try and ruin her. The lies, deceit, scandal, the foolishness, the fuckery, it’s in there. The snakes and the fakes, it’s in there. The love, friendship and sense of family it’s in there. Nesha is low key a comedic genius, the laughs and humor that I’ve come to know and love from her, it’s in there. Best friend Alan is not to played with but will have you doubling over in laughter. Juice, who’s just as hilarious as Alan, made me want to be apart of his crew. This was so good that I was up until 3 am on a weeknight. I didn’t/couldn’t stop there, I went straight into book two. Y’all show some love for d1ck ‘em down KJ and his crew.

Rollercoaster!!!! The best kind.

If taking on a joyride, fast and a little reckless was the goal, Ladii Nesha nailed it!
I absolutely LOVED some of the characters and I also detested some of the others. When I say these characters were fleshed out and became real life people I wanted to hug and also throw hands with. I mean...this cast of characters really put Ladii Nesha on another level in my opinion. To so brilliantly craft such complex characters while also navigating such messy, and toxic situations and parents. Chefs kiss!
Book 2 perfectly wrapped up this story with a perfect bow. I'm sad to see these crazy kids go, but also know they'll more than likely show up sooner or later.
Definitely recommend this 2 book series.

I’m officially in my Ladii Nesha bag. After reading “Losin’ Control” I had to go through her catalogue. This duet was so entertaining, hilarious and messy. Just how I like it.

But I really enjoyed this one. In fact I enjoyed it even more than the first because we got straight to the mess 😂
I was super invested in this story and I finished in less than 48 hours. If you want a book to fuss at, laugh, and get irritated af with the characters then this series is the one for you!
There were times I was even side eyeing Kendall a little for the (demon comments) mainly. But that Renee, she was ruthless and so low down and dirty.
Per the usual Ladii Nesha is giving us a MMC we can love (Victor) perhaps a dusty like Greg lol and some amazing and hilarious supporting characters like Sidney, Alan, Juice, VC, Eve and Kim flipping flop ass 😂
Would definitely recommend this book if you’re looking for something to suck you in and deliver messy family dynamics, drama, and some spoilers but also a very loving found family as well.
My two complaints, there was some parts in the middle that were a little drawn out before an event happened that needed to (no spoilers so I’ll keep it ambiguous) and the ending. The epilogue needed more than just 3.5 page updates on Renee and Kendall. I needed a few more updates on Kendall.

I ate this up!!! Before I started reading this one I thought "okay I'm ready to see what small world after all has for me this time". But the happenings within this story took me through every single emotion times 10.
I can't even say that my full review will come later. This just might be the only review because reading this series will speak for itself really. It's a 6 star for me. A series that held me from beginning to end too ❤️ whew I own this series look at me doing glorious things cause I will be back to revisit this series for sure.

Continuation from previous book review-
The messy continues… again, this was an enjoyable enough read. If you like drama and MESSY, recommend (not always my cup of tea).
Mild rant / potential SPOILERS:
۵ Unpopular opinion - Kendall was annoying at times, and Kim blew me toward the end. All of that dislike for Vick but forgive Renee? And like Ken said, she’s your daughter yet you continue to put her around the girl who hates her. For what? The love of a man who didn’t show love to you?
۵ Now with Ken, I get the fear of commitment from having an inconsistent daddy, but the very end was unnecessary drama to me. How are you mad at him because you left?
۵ Now, Renee-she was a vile human being, but dang lol her luck just kept getting worse. Yeah, redemption doesn’t happen for everyone, but bad people don’t get what they “deserve” either.

Mild rant / potential SPOILERS:
۵ Unpopular opinion - Kendall was annoying at times, and Kim blew me toward the end. All of that dislike for Vick but forgive Renee? And like Ken said, she’s your daughter yet you continue to put her around the girl who hates her. For what? The love of a man who didn’t show love to you?
۵ Now with Ken, I get the fear of commitment from having an inconsistent daddy, but the very end was unnecessary drama to me. How are you mad at him because you left?
۵ Now, Renee-she was a vile human being, but dang lol her luck just kept getting worse. Yeah, redemption doesn’t happen for everyone, but bad people don’t get what they “deserve” either.

When hatred makes no sense
Renee is proof that embedded hatred is a mental illness. How does one center their entire life around the hatred and jealousy of someone else? It is not healthy at all! What made it heartbreaking is that Renee did not want to change or seek help. Her hatred almost cost her son's life as well as hers. So sad.
To be honest with all of the drama and the string of lies I wasn't sure that Victor and Kendall would find their HEA! Gregory was grimy and momma Kim had me giving her the side eye with her judgmental self. There were comedic points again and Alan is still the best friend to have. This story will give you whiplash if you are not careful so buckle up before you embark on this dynamic journey.

Where to start! I loved how Alan gave it to her straight with no chaser all the time. I completely understood where his parents were coming from. That being said it was her mom for me. She not once took the time to sit down and actually hear and listen to either of them out. She was extremely judgmental. Only to end up with egg on her face at the end. Kendall got on my nerves in this book a lot. Victor is bae with his bde all day! Juice needs his own spin-off! Karma is a real witch! I don’t feel bad for her at all! At least she knew who she was and stayed true to it! Sensational job

MESSY. RAW. REAL.
Heavy on the: Therapy can only help those who want to help themselves! I knew Renee was too far gone for redemption in the first book chile, she was truly EVIL and a MESS! It’s crazy because there are truly people in the world that think like her and self sabotage! I absolutely LOVED Catching Feelings! It was good from first page to end and i am HAPPY with how this book ended as well. Every time I get on a flight I am going to this about my favorite trio & Mr Pilot ;-). Highly Recommend this series to anyone that wants an entertaining MESSY read!!! I was shook and laughing through the entire book!!!

Great ending..
I need an Alan in my life, I love him so. I feel like Teacup is my niece in real life Chile. Lol I wanted Renee to be unalived 😂 from page one; gal was so looney. I also wanted to strangle Kendall a few times but we made it. I do not like Kim that is all! So happy for Victor he deserved happiness kinda wanted him to keep Liam anyway, but Cami is going to be good for him. Can’t wait to see what’s next!

Oh what an ending. It was just taking too long for everything to come out. Ken worked all my nerves. I'm glad she finally somewhat got it together. Kim is just, whatever at this point. Love me some Juice, Alan, and Sid. Renee got was coming to her, but it should have been more.

What a good ending to a wonderful series. I wanted to see Renee suffer more…she deserved everything that happened to her. I’m so happy for the ending!! I don’t know if I’ve ever laughed so much reading a series!! 😂😂😂

Loved this series soo much…it was so messy and I was here for it every single page. This author was able to show that everybody can’t get redemption especially if they don’t deserve it nor want it for themselves.

Whew ok I’m lateeeeee to the party.. Now Juice & Alan were my favorite people throughout the entire series. I need to know more about them.
Kendall was a ok character but there were parts where she was getting on my nerves doing entirely too much
Ms. Kim mad me so mad cause how you continue to help Renee. She knew how that girl was treating her daughter but she still forced her to be around her.
Overall this was a good book and I’m glad I read them

Loved the series. Loved the characters even tho some of them stressed me out lol. I thought Renee would learn but nope lol. She stayed loud and wrong even through her karma. Full of drama and laughs. Hea.
