I absolutely enjoyed reading each & every page of this intriguing romance. It has an excellent twist with a disciplinarian undertone & I promise you that it is definitely worth reading. The plot is well-written with some suspenseful situations & has good world building with splendid scene descriptions. The well-developed characters are unique with their individuality & one of the characters (Nigel) is quite determined to claim the female character (Olivia) for his own. There is good support from the secondary characters.

When Lady Raven (Olivia) and Bulldog (Nigel) fence, the competition gets intense as Olivia wins the match by sneaky moves and haughty attitude, it's the beginning of a new challenge that Olivia will eventually submit to. Nigel is the type of man that commands his place and those that must comply, but it's so darn hot, who cares? Nigel, my newest book boyfriend, dominates Olivia and she submits easily and so willingly, it makes her body sing. Of course there is trouble, intrigue and danger, but Nigel is up for the challenge as is Olivia, she's no pushover, except for her Dom, once she wears his collar. Olivia blindsided Nigel in fencing but he had the last laugh when he blindsided her at Baker Street. She responds so well to Nigel’s dominance but like the bratty sub that she is she makes him earn her submission. The banter between the two is witty, fun and hilarious. This is a fast-paced shrouded in mystery and full of suspense and intrigue. Will Olivia and Nigel be able to solve the murders while they are falling for each other?

What a smoking hot story. I couldn't put this book down while reading about Nigel (Bulldog) and Olivia as they navigated their way through a relationship that started with a fencing match, in which she beat him. It started out as a revenge to get back at her but quickly became much more. Out of the three stories in this series, this is my favorite so far. I'm just gonna have to go back and read it again!

Fantastic read! Wow! Had all the items on my checklist! Sexy Dom, feisty sub, hot kinky scenes, great storyline, and great side characters!
I think Nigel is my new book boyfriend. Dang he was unbelievable hot! The chemistry between he and Olivia is melting my Kindle. I loved Olivia and her toughness and how she knew being a sub fulfilled her and made her stronger.

Wow what a great read! Nigel and Olivia’s stories is fast paced, full of twists and turns that make your head spin trying to keep up. Their dynamic is just wonderful you can’t get enough! Loved it!

This has to be one of the most captivating reads by Delta James. it had everything
When he had gone to the sabre fighting fight that night, he had never thought that he would be fighting Lady Raven, or that she would knock him onto his ass in front of a crowd of his friends and piers.
Olivia had been left wondering about the man she fought in the club and beat known as Bulldog, there was something about him that she had been enticed to but she had not expected to meet him at her friend s BDSM club at 22b Baker Street.
Nigel had known she was going to be there and he knew that he wanted to be the Dom that had showed her around the club and also had played with her, however imagine his surprise when she had thrown him out of the room as he was giving her aftercare, she had actually safe worded out for no apparent reason.
Suddenly Olivia’s life is on the line when one of the hackers she has known for years contacts her asking for help, he is obviously scared but when he turns up at their meeting dead it soon becomes apparent that her life is now very much on the line.
The only way that Nigel is able to help keep Olivia safe is to call in the help of the Cerberus group that he knows well and who are able to move a little more freely within London and other countries, they have plenty of contacts and she knows they will do everything to keep her safe.
As the story begins to gain in momentum and she is kidnapped and her life is under threat and already she has been shot at and her friends killed and threatened, this is no game and Olivia knows that she has to listen to her Dom Nigel, he will do everything in his power to ensure her safety.

I absolutely loved this book. Delta drew me in on the first chapter and I could not put it down. This is book three of 'Mercenary Masters', and now my favorite of the series. Nigel and Olivia meet when paired up at an underground fencing match. Olivia wins the match by dirty tactics but underground fencing has few rules so Nigel accepts the defeat. Nigel is interested in the stunning Olivia but she refuses his advances thinking that he is too white bread for herself. Olivia plans on spending time with her friend JJ and enjoying JJ's BDSM club. She likes getting into sub space to let off steam and asked JJ to set up a club Dom for her. Nigel works in British Intelligence and sets up a surprise for Olivia at his friend's club. Olivia soon discovers that her Dom for the evening is non other than Nigel. Everything seems to be working out until the aftercare is to be administered. Olivia panics at the closeness and intimacy being offered by Nigel and uses her safe word to escape the situation. Olivia then finds herself in a jam when the friend she was to meet the next morning is murdered at the restaurant. Nigel offers Olivia protection and is advantageous In helping her to not being held as a suspect in the murder. In exchange for his offer, Nigel comes up with a new contract and terms for their soon to be relationship. Olivia is attracted and interested in Nigel and accepts all his help and guidance. What follows is a fast paced story filled with intrigue, mystery, romance and suspense. I highly recommend this book and look forward to the next book in the series. Bulldog is the third book in third book in Delta James’ Mercenary Masters series. In this book she focuses on Lord Nigel “Bulldog” Pederson and Olivia Miles. Bulldog is a member of Home Office as well as a titled gentleman. He is an alpha male and a Dom, just like the other male leads in this series. Due to his professional and personal responsibilities Bulldog and the men of Cerberus have a strong bond. Olivia is an American with a great talent for languages, thus, making her an excellent U.N. translator. She is also a friend of Jordon’s. Aware of Nigel’s skill in fencing, Olivia orchestrated a match. Playing dirty, she beats him and disappears. Destiny brings them together at JJ’s BDSM club. Olivia’s intention is to enjoy a one-nightstand. However, Destiny has other plans when she is soon the target of an assassination plot. Nigel is determined to keep her safe and to make this beautiful, obstinate, clever, and brave woman his. Neither can escape the magnetic and intense attraction to the other. This book was so...so hot!! Bulldog...real name Nigel meets Olivia at an underground fencing competition as opponents. Olivia fights dirty and bests Nigel. He acquiesces to the outcome but does a background check on Olivia after the match is over. He finds out she is going to an exclusive BDSM club that evening and it just so happens he is a resident dom there, as well as working in MI5. Once there, Olivia thinks Nigel is just trying to prove a point because she bested him at the fencing match, but he knows different. He is enamored with her and knows he will collar her. But things aren't going to be easy. Olivia works for the UN as an interpreter and speaks 5 languages but the job is stressful...which is why she blows off steam at the lifestyle club. This is where Nigel makes his move and will be her dom for the night or if he has his way...for life. He just has to settle Olivia and make her realize he is the only dom for her. But with threats on her life from a mafia who thinks she knows more than she does, Nigel has his work cut out for him.
Loved this book..Nigel is smokin' and so, so dom but can be tender as well. A girl can't help but fall under his spell!

This was a quick and entertaining story the jumps right into action with first scene – an underground fencing club match between the American Lady Raven (Olivia) and the British Bulldog (Nigel). Olivia is a skilled translator who works for the United Nations. Nigel is a British Lord and and operative for MI5. She has no idea who he really is when she plays dirty during their fencing match, but she’s going to be enlightened rather quickly.
Both main characters were likable and well-defined, and the banter between them was nicely done. The story was action-packed and had some mystery and suspense, and it moved along at a fast pace. I think I would have enjoyed if it was a little bit longer because it all wrapped up pretty quickly, but it was definitely long enough to provide a complete book experience.
I’ll be looking forward to the next book in this series, which I’m assuming will focus on somebody else related to Baker Street. Be aware that this book contains some scenes of spanking, domestic discipline, and D/s power exchange, but it was pretty mild for the genre.

in strong female characters who attract even stronger dominant

The first scene set the pace for this entire book. I'm sure Olivia had no idea what she started after her first encounter with Nigel.
I liked both of the main characters. The dialogue was fun and witty. I was surprised by Olivia's reaction to Nigel's dominance. Revisiting the gang at Baker Street was a nice addition.
This book was fast paced, full of action, and suspense. At the same time that I appreciated some of the suspenseful scenes did not drag on forever, I wish the book had been longer, as it was an enjoyable read.
I am looking forward to the next book in this series. Hopefully, we will get a book about each of the other guys at Baker Street; Adam, Sully, Harry, and Sawyer. I have my own suspicions about Jackdaw.
If you have any issues with spanking, discipline, D/s, etc., I would advise you to take a pass on this book.

But what she didnt expect was when going to the Bdsm club for a one night of play was to find that it was Nigel who was her Dominant. And he knew just how to play her as well giving her just what she needed. But it dosnt end there, it is Nigel who comes to her aid when she needs it. Can Nigel finally be the one that will finally get her submission?
What i really love about this author is that we can always rely on her to bring us hot stories with dominant men to boot. Also i love the fact that despite the fact that she can write in many genres her writing although is not predictable, but it dosnt go way overboard into the dark side like other authors.

Sweet bejeebers!!! Can you say HOT AS HADES?!?!? Lord Nigel, aka the Bulldog, met Olivia, Lady Raven during a match at the underground fencing movement. Both had an abundance of skill but where Bulldog had a code of honor he competed with, Lady Raven competed to win, and win she did. Neither Delta James nor Fate were leaving things there. No, they were brought together at the Baker Street BDSM club and the hint of chemistry between fencers bloomed into a recognizable fire. Then add the danger of Olivia being a translator for the UN and becoming the target of the mob with the Cerberus Group trying to keep her safe. This storyline sucked me in immediately and kept me turning pages and on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. I'm all in and I'm sure you will be too once you read this.

This book has it all. Underground sword fights, BDSM clubs, murder, danger, relationships, revenge, and the Albanian Mafia. This book hooked me from start and I just could not put it down. Olivia cheats in the sword match and Nigel wants to find out everything he can about Oliva. He finds that she wants a dom for the night and Nigel fills that spot to Olivia's surprise. Then there is a murder and Olivia needs protecting and Nigel is just the man to do it. I loved Nigel and Olivia and the way they interacted was wonderful. I think this is my favorite of this series. The story flowed perfectly. I loved this story.

Another fun book following the pattern of: man and woman meet, sparks fly, spankings ensue, woman is in danger, woman is rescued, more spankings ensue, woman discovers and embraces her submissiveness, HEA. It’s all kind of silly, really, not remotely true to life, but as I said, lots of fun. And isn’t it all about wish fulfillment fantasies anyway? In this particular case, the characters are from the Cerberus/Baker Street-verse of super controlling Doms and “feisty” women who melt into little puddles after a few good spankings (followed by other recreational activities), and then happily sit at their Doms’ feet, although still occasionally rolling their eyes and making sarcastic comments to show that they are still “feisty”.

Nigel is an agent with MI5 and a dom at Baker Street. Olivia works as an interpreter for the UN. She is in London for a short holiday and wants to visit Baker Street that her friend JJ (Jordan who we met in Alpha Dog) owns. The two of them get together and combust like dynamite. But there is a murder to solve and Olivia to protect. I enjoyed this story and read it in one sitting. The heat between the two of them and their verbal exchanges were the best. I highly recommend that you read this book. I also recommend that you read ANYTHING by this author.

A must read
It is difficult not to love books by this author....and this is no exception
A seriously awesome addition to the series, and although this can be read as a stand-alone, I strongly urge you to read the series in order..... the first books were incredible
A great plot, well written characters, steamy sex!

...the only tiny negative was the cover... not sure it fits with the book, but if you have read other books by Delta James then you will have simply downloaded this straight onto your kindle without checking the cover...

Wow, what an exciting book. This story features Nigel and Olivia and is part of the Cerebus series. Olivia is an UN translator and catches Nigel’s eye when she bests him at Fencing. He comes to her aid when a friend of hers is murdered in London and insists on looking after her by collaring her! It was good to see Fitz and Jordan again and l loved the way all the other characters involved played such a pivotal part in this story.
This book has action, excitement, mystery, not to mention mayhem and red, hot passion. Delta has written a fantastic story and l loved it.

Olivia fights dirty, but Nigel is going to straighten her out. But she's going to give him a run for his money before she submits. When her life is threatened, he pulls out all the stops to protect her. This story is action-packed and fast-paced, full of action and suspense. Olivia is strong... Strong enough to realize that Nigel's dominance is exactly what she needs in her life. I'm not sure how Ms. James would top Devil Dog and Alpha Dog. But I knew that she would. Her books always get better as a series progresses, and this is no exception.

Nigel and Olivia meet at a fencing club, and she wins. Soon after, a friend invites her to a BDSM club and she asks to be set up with a Dom, who surprises her when it is Nigel. Suspense and heat seem to be the theme of this story as there is a murder the next day and Olivia is mixed up in it. The two pair up, in more ways than one, and have a lot of work to do. Loved the whole story and it was mixed just right. The banter and sass worked well as they are both very strong, determined people. Could not put this story down.

The temperature kept rising between these two characters as the story played out. The heat of his hand, the sassiness of her retort, the sizzling chemistry and the lust-filled eyes all worked together to indicate these characters are extremely attracted to each other. I was captivated by the intensity of each emotion and action of the characters. I felt his need to dominate her and her need to finally surrender. It was wonderful to revisit the characters from the previous book which added depth and excitement to the story. I absolutely loved this book. I can’t wait to read more books from this author.

This is one smoking hot read from page one where Olivia beats Nigel in a fencing match. So hot!. Their relationship burns the page. All the characters are real and rounded. There are plenty of different elements in this book to make this story so easy to read. It moves quickly and smoothly. So good. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this story and I very highly recommend it. This story is part of a series but can be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading all the series. A very enjoyable and interesting read.

Simply perfection! I loved this book. Thought that Fitz and JJ was a fabulous story, but found Nigel and Olivia to have an even better storyline. It was equal parts exciting, suspenseful, and sizzling; and I found myself so wanting to enjoy Nigel’s personal attentions. Similar to the Wayward Mates series, the Cerberus group functions in a well developed world that ties everything together and has the feel of a television mini series where you can’t wait to tune in to see what happens next. I just hope we don’t have a long wait.
