This is the second book on the ‘Connor Callahan’ series. Dylan is living in Atlanta since graduating college when one of her friends, Aleshia, asks for help. Her sister Maddie has gone missing and Aleshia needs help finding her. So far, the police haven’t been much help. Initially, Dylan was willing to go it alone, until Aleshia also disappears. Now it seems she has no other option…she has to call her old friends Connor and Olin for assistance. Maybe, working together, they can find the two missing sisters, before it’s too late. The trio agrees that somehow the disappearance of the two sisters is surely connected, so in order to find Aleshia, they first have to figure out what happened to Maddie. Using their combined skills hopefully, they can find some thread to follow that will lead to the girls and not down the rabbit hole. Then the unthinkable happens, Aleshia’s body is found and now the police have turned their attention to Dylan, Connor, and Olin. The more the trio of finds out, the less they seem to know.
This story had me scratching my head in puzzlement until the final aha moment when all the pieces fell together into a completed picture. Filled with intrigue and breath-holding moments, this will get your heart pounding all while your brain is trying to fit together the facts. I enjoyed the fast-paced ride.
A Good Plan by Reagan Keeter is the second novel of the Connor Calahan series. It starts with one of Dylan's good friends disappearing. After filing a missing persons report, Dylan calls Connor and Olin to come help her search for her friend, Aleshia. They start by looking for Aleshia's sister, Maddie, who also seems to be missing. The strange thing is the police don't seem to be too interested until a body matching Aleshia's description is found on the beach. For fans of thrillers with a heart, this book promises and delivers.
Good little quick read as Conner, Dylan and Olin are brought back together to solve a missing person case in the second book of the series. Written in a straight forward manner with very likeable protagonists in this trio. They all bring something to the table and work very well together. Some nice twists and turns around unexpected corners and a satisfying conclusion.
I received a complimentary copy of this book and this is my honest and unbiased review.
This is the 2nd book in the Conner Callahan series and it has a very entertaining plot. It’s fast paced with drama, suspense and twists galore! It can be read as a stand-alone but to better understand how the characters met, you might want to read book one first. I am thoroughly enjoying this series and think you will too, if you like a good mystery. *this honest review is based on a complimentary copy from the author*
A good second book in this series. There is some character development still required as I feel their reaction to events was unrealistic at times. A fast-paced thriller full of twists and turns.
Thank you to the author who provided me with a copy of this book. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
I enjoyed this mystery story. Conner Callahan and his friends are reunited to find Dylan's missing friend and her sister. The suspense was slow to build but the story carried along at a nice pace. The characters are moved along with interesting dialogue. I received an advance copy of this book and this is my honest review.
It didn’t take long for my attention to be awakened. Should have read the last chapter of so of Conner’s first foray into investigating a disappearance just to reacquaint myself with the characters but other than then I found this book very entertaining. Several twists and turns leading to a surprise ending. Well done. Can’t wait for the next chapter in Conner, Dylan, and Olin’s adventures.
Connor and Olin are asked by Aleshia Thompson to find her sister, Maddie. This leads to many 'strings that need to be pulled' to find the answer...if it can be found. This story is the second in a series that is very well written and has great characters. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Book 2 continues the story of Connor and his friends. Connor's friend, Dylan calls him and Olin to help her find the missing sister of one of her friends. Fast paced story with twists and lots of action makes this an enjoyable book to read. Would definitely recommend this story.
Who was after Maddie and why??? And then there is Aleshia, isn’t there??? It’s a good thing Connor kept on the ball. I enjoyed the story and recommend the book.
