the best out of the 3 so far, could be a trigger for some people

This book left me feeling conflicted because the perpetrator was also a child victim of a criminal act that scarred him for life. I’m not going to lie, I felt sorry for him and I wanted him to get away. His story had me shed a few real tears. Even though he went about revenge wrong, I can understand and feel the underlying pain he had to carry and live with all his life. I can’t imagine what that man did to him. When he told Jack that man did things to him that broke his soul, my heart broke. And what he said is true about the justice system, it’s one sided and unfair. I have to agree. There’s things going on right now in our real life with certain people, to prove this point. This’s one case I wanted Jack to fall back. It’s seen everyone wanted to be so hard on the perp but didn’t do the same to protect him and give him justice against the person who victimized him when he was a kid. I see the author trying to sneak in a romantic relationship in the series. I’m not a fan of romance.

Who is the question??

This one starts out with sleazy attorney 's not believing in the police department classification of a suicide. So the PI firm is hired to investigate the death by suicide. Many of the main characters are undesirable in more ways than make them a part of the criminal element. The shooter is a surprise at the conclusion. Thanks for all the entertainment.

The Shooter by Peter O’Mahoney

Interesting story but, the final perpetrator comes out of nowhere without much initial investigatory clues. It all happens more or less in the final two chapters of the book.

A slow who done it

The plot was interesting but for some reason this book wasn't a real page turner as a avid reader I needed more suspense. I liked the chemistry between Casey and Jack maybe the next book will be more of a page Turner.

Exciting and Enjoyable

I liked this one better than some of the other Jack Valentine books. Even though it was semi easy to determine who the bad guy was the writing did keep you wondering and changing your mind.

It's a good one

I dove into this literary detour as a mere placeholder, and now I'm utterly captivated by Jack and Casey's magnetic charm. Who knew a temporary reading fling would turn into such an irresistible page-turning addiction? 😄.

Well, that story had some twists and turns. Was really surprised that Robbie was the one behind it all. Now I'm ready for the next story, with Jack Valentine !
