Behind one feathered mask, four women of three different eras discover themselves surrounded by treachery and deception, aristocratic crooks, fraudulent family, and even a few poor choices of their own. The most poignant unmasking comes when each of them drops their defenses and invites the author of life and love to write unimaginable finales."

I’d read this book back when I was in high school and wanted to read it again. The last 2 stories are the best (the very last being my favorite). Although they were all enjoyable to read, I felt like the authors wasted some time in the already short story and weren’t able to make them very deep. The author of the last story, Moonlight Masquerade, did a great job of moving the story along with purpose and depth and still made it flow easily. I also love stories that have danger and mystery to them and that one was the best at including those aspects.
I liked the way all the books in the volume connected the masquerade mask from the first story. I found the first book, Liberty, Fidelity, Eternity quite hard to follow and understand because of the French words in it. It was a slower read and I couldn’t wait to get through it. The others were very good. I especially liked the last book in the novellas, Moonlight Masquerade by Pamela Griffin. I loved the way she presented the Gospel. I would like to read more by Pamela. I would recommend this volume of 4 books/stories.
I liked the last two stories most of all; the first two didn't really do much for me, but they were nice as well. I don't know; I just like the intrigue, suspense, 'danger', and characters of the last two more.
The third was the best. The first was way to preachy. The second had characters that didn't seem like real people. The fourth just seemed to make jumps in the plot. The third actually had an interesting story and characters that appeared to resemble people rather than sermon points.
