Easy read and it seems if the path as advised is taken it will be a sure shot success. It would be great if there were real life examples. How many normal people has done it- replacing salary with investing.
We tend to focus on positives only but not many talk about failures. There is bit of bias here where author has a business in financial advisory. What it doesn’t cover is debt and how it is necessary for it to be get ridden quickly because compounding does impact in your cash flows both way.
Payoff mortgage quickly or service bank by paying twice as much during a life of loan. Book also doesn’t talk about present value of money and how inflation erodes your future gain. Financial situation is unique to everyone and people have different level of debt tolerance. Chapter on tax was the best one in the book.
Very poorly written. There are 1000s of books like this already. There are only a couple of core ideas which are not original. Spend less than you earn, pay off debts first, setup emergency fund, invest in shares via etf etc . Don’t waste time on this.
Good primer into financial literacy. Nothing new of you are already aware of financial literacy core concepts. Focus mostly on the Australian market, and upsells you to the author consulting company. Jeez bro.
