Me encantan.

Este es uno de ellos. Lo necesitaba, y funcionó.

HIS FOREVER WOMAN!

A commitment-phobe billionaire and an accident prone aspiring actress, waitress and children's party princess walk into a bar.....

That is how Owen Hughes and Bella Cotton met in Waiheke the eve before her sisters wedding and had the best night of their lives but while flirting he set her straight that he only does flings and Bella accepted and agreed it would only be for one night but fate had other plans in store for the both of them...

They say three times the charm and that is what led Bella to accepting a room to stay in from Owen the night she tore her princess dress; dropped a bottle of wine in the supermarket in Wellington when she heard him whisper in her ear, and her little apartment of two weeks nearly burning down...

" She was his own magic fairy."
" she'd brought back his humanity, his hope."

Will Bella be the woman to change a billionaire player into a committed monogamous man or will her dream of being an actress tear them apart?

A sweet, funny and steamy low angst story I can definitely recommend!

Wandering rich kid and workaholic

Why do the rich play poor. Being poor sucks. I want to make my own money, I pay off my debts, and I'll be honest I'd love nothing more than never making my own money again. I'd love for daddy or hubby to pay for every pretty little whim that's in my head. To be able to travel and fluff off at school taking courses that interest me. Setting up a business that doesn't have to succeed and generally knocking about through life. She's not admirable for manning a coffee counter and doing kids parties. Not because there is anything wrong with either it's how she's playing at it. Nothing matters to her and it's annoying.
He's the typical stamped white guy workaholic in the Hallmark movies. Nothing special even his backstory is cookie cutter. He doesn't step out of character once. Not a movie buff, tinkerer, dog lover nothing unusual at all.
The love scenes are okay, and that's why it's not a one star.
I need more from a book. Please give her a passion that she isn't playing at and have him ooze out of his mold a little. Just something to at least bring it up to decent.

Is it possible to give it more than five stars? No? What a shame! How cruel! This deserve infinity of stars!

I can't even begin to describe what I'm feeling after reading this precious, amazing, beautiful book. Such a beautiful play of words. Natalie Anderson may be my new author obsession. The way she writes is so mesmerizing. It had me laughing and crying and feeling utter happy through every single page.

Something that started out as fake end up being something so much more this is the first book in the Millionaires and Makeovers series if the books that follow are anything like this one, I will be reading them all it seems that they books will read as a standalone with a sexy millionaire and the women that bring them to their knees 😊. Bella is so strong to have put up with family, friends the disappointment she sees in their eyes when around her, working two jobs as a children’s party fairy or pirate and as a barista but regardless of how they see her she still plans to live her best life. Owen sexy as all get out multi-millionaire tech entrepreneur workaholic never stopping to enjoy the life he has built because work comes first in everything for him, meeting the girl who would eventually change his way of looking at thing wasn’t on his list and yet when he met the girl, he just wanted to make smile became his mission. But never did either of the expect the attraction to be insanely instant or intense and the magnetic pull was too strong for either of them to ignore so with a promise to be her +1 to her sister’s wedding and one night when she wakes up of course he has disappeared and she thinks he did all of that just to sleep with her it hurts but she is use to being hurt and decides to do what needs to be done. They meet again in the grocery store where of course she is having issues with her car and he offers to help her in any way but her being the failure of her family has her thinking she needs to do everything on her own but Owen is going to let her forget he is there in anyway for her and showing her how much he can help her if only she will allow him to help her neither of them expected to fall for the other yet they find themselves drawn to one another and not giving up on the other but will it be enough, will she allow him to show her what he see when he looks at her, will she gain the self-confidence to be who/what she wants with his help, will her family ever see the damage they have done to her or at least take into consideration her feelings, will he see something more than just work, will he realize that living life without just work isn’t living, and will they find happiness together?.

This is the story of Bella (aspiring actress, children’s entertainer and barista) and Owen (squillionaire tech entrepreneur) and it charts their story through casual meeting in a bar and one-night hook up, to re-meeting and finding themselves sharing living accommodation and being in a relationship, through break-up and on to the HEA.

I love this book, firstly because it provides a believable narrative – these two hook-up quite naturally and live together; of course, there is artistic licence, coincidence and glamour but at its heart the narrative and characters are very real and believable. Secondly, the characters are likeable – I was rooting for both of them – and are well fleshed out in terms of characteristics, behaviours and mannerisms. The story is an intense and intimate read about their romantic journey and separate personal journeys (Owen does not like to commit and Bella can be a bit flaky). What really seals it for me is that the book not only tells us that they resolve their issues, but it shows us in their actions. Plus, the book has the best ending ever. There are no weak patches in this book.

Personal disclaimer: I had arranged to review this book before knowing it was a refreshed re-issue of a previous book. I read the original some time ago and by far it is my favourite romance novel ever (yup really). This version felt very much like that original and I Ioved it just as much. If you’ve read it before and have no desire to re-read it, I do not think this version gives you anything extra.

I received an advance copy of this book from the author, in return for an honest review.

Natalie Anderson had just published the first of her four part mini series, Millionaires and Makeovers. Out of her League is a contemporary romance which starts with a fake date and a one night stand which then blossoms in to much more. Bella Cotton is her familiy’s let down. She wants to be a respected actor but at the moment she is a child’s party fairy/pirate and also a baristas. Own Hughes has the perfect life as a multi millionaire tech entrepreneur. They meet at her sister’s wedding. She sees herself as the dumpy one whilst he just wants to make her laugh. They have a fake date and a one night stand and Owen leaves.
He can’t contact her as she has given him the wrong number. He meets her again in Wellington at a grocery store and helps her out when her car breaks down and flat catches fire. Slowly a relationship develops. She is the first person who hasn’t been interested in his money but will he be able to overcome his antipathy to HEA and give Bella what she wants?

I enjoyed this novel. Both characters are relatable and they work well together. Bella and Owen have issues they have to address before they can build a relationship together and it is interesting to see their characters develop as the storyline progresses.

I was gifted this book by BookFunnel and Natalie Anderson but this does not effect the views in my blog post.

It’s a truly hot steamy romance that melted me from the beginning. Bella and Owen’s first encounter is in the bar where Bella’s big family stays for her sister’s wedding. She has low self esteem because of her perfect family’s propositions. She thinks that she is a failure in the family but she has a great fondness for being an entertainer as a fairy in children’s party. When Owen sees Bella steps in the bar, he is sexually intrigued and can’t let her go and so they start flirting, bantering and entertaining one another until they have one-night stand.

Despite the no string relation and their strong mutual desire, both misinterpret the next morning situation until Bella decisively takes over her life to be independent and relies on no one. Well I loved how their relation works contrarily, Owen tenderly cares for Bella and is willing to help whatever she needs yet Bella is determined to be independent and will not, let anyone even Owen, help her. After denial and resistance, they succumb finally to their hot-temporary-relation.

It’s a splendidly entertaining romance which has strong sizzling sexual tension from the beginning then I was truly impressed with wonderful and uplifting characters at the end, and indeed with its ending! Thank you, Natalie Anderson, for this ARC which I voluntary reviewed.

A little opposites attract with chemistry thrown in.

I didn’t realize this story was taking place in New Zealand for several chapters. Some of the wording did make me wonder. I was fearful it was going to be all about sex. There are so many one night stand books out there. Would this be like so many others or different? Different won. Bella is certainly quirky. Nothing like her family. They are tall, thin, business minded and perfectly made up. She is curvy, a little flighty but with the biggest heart.

Owen is brilliant and lacks a bit of common sense. Two relationships in his life go wrong so he is going to be Mr No Relationships For Me. I loved how he could totally see and get Bella. He and Bella had fun. Not sure Owen has had fun for a long time. He allowed Bella to reach for her star and stayed back just log enough until it was time to reel her in. Cute story.

Bella and Owen's Story . . .

Bella Cotton is the family mess and they let her know she disappoints them. She meets Owen Hughes who is a very wealthy man and they hit it off well. They share a wonderful night together, he agrees to be her fake date at her sister’s wedding, but he is gone the next day. She feels used and humiliated. She didn’t know he had been called away on important business.

They have other encounters, but he makes certain she knows he is not interested in a marriage or having a family. So what will she do when she falls in love with him? And has he sorted out his own feelings as well?

Out of her League is the first title I have read by Natalie Anderson, and I'm so excited to have discovered her! This kick off to the new Millionaires and Makeovers series is a well-written, entertaining, steamy romance that you will not be able to put down. Owen and Bella have hilarious banter, e-reader melting chemistry, and a story with twists and turns and laugh-out-loud moments. Both characters are richly-developed and engaging.

A must-read romance - and now I'm off to find more of Ms Anderson's novels to devour!

I thought this story was rather cute. Bella and Owen meet and have a fabulous night that someone ends in disappointment. However, they can’t stop thinking about each other and life gives them a second chance, something has to give. I really liked both Owen and Bella but they serious have things they need to overcome if they want to reach their HEA. They have good chemistry together and actually compliment each other nicely.

I love Bella and Owen. Bella is a waitress and a children's party princess, Owen is a billionaire. It shouldn't work right? Oh yes it does. Their chemistry is amazing. Owen, who is a bit of a playboy, continuously swoops in and saves Bella even though he insists he is not a commitment kind of guy. I love fake dating, opposites attract, quirky fmc/serious mc tropes. You never know what is going to happen.

I enjoyed this story so much. Owen is a genuinely good guy and Bella is a strong woman that marches to the beat of her own drum. And who doesn’t love fake dating, billionaire romances?! We all know how they’re going to end but I can’t help myself. This story is also told in dual POV and that made it so much better.

This story was full of witty banter and steamy moments that were tastefully written. There were heart wrenching moments that even made it hard to hold back tears.

Bella is "little girl lost". Alone at her sister's wedding weekend, on her birthday which everyone has forgotten, turning "flirty" - which I'm guessing must mean thirty - with only an aspiring career, part-time jobs, and still living at home with wealthy daddy.

This is just not the type of character I feel like reading about right now.

We follow Bella- an aspiring actress, children’s party giver and part-time barista. She meets Owen- a wealthy tech entrepreneur- at a wedding. They have a one-night stand that turns into becoming accidental roommates. He is afraid of commitment, and she is focused on a acting career so it can't work out. Or can it? Predictable but cute story and a quick read.

Totally Hot!

Bella and Owen are total opposites that when together ignite the pages. They bring out the best in each other and accept each others faults. A good read through and through!

Love surprises.

Bella feels like a lemon in a family of daffodils. Owen makes her feel so much, but he doesn't do relationships. What happens when a man says he wants one thing but ends up wanting everything?

sweet romance

Sweet romance and storyline, without major graphic sex scenes. I enjoyed reading it. I do wish that he had made the wedding at the last moment though, it may have pulled it together better for me. There was some humor mixed with it too.
