Ellery Klein is a fiddler and fiddle teacher in the Boston area. She performed with Billboard-charting Celtic band Gaelic Storm from 2003 to 2007, and currently is a member of the Portland-Boston Irish trio Fódhla.

She has taught fiddle workshops and college courses in Ireland, Japan, Bermuda and the United States.

Well suited to those who have never played the violin or read music, this also is potentially useful to someone like myself. I had lessons some years ago and read music quite well, but need instruction in the folk fiddlers' particular idiom. The accompanying DVD is particularly helpful.
