As a parent of four children, two boys and two girls, this book had me cracking up, literally. With absolute hilarity and brilliant wit, each page begins with the phrase, “You’re not a real parent until…”, and one of my personal favorites answering, “… you’ve had to look up the fictional cartoon villain you were compared to in an argument.”
The cartoons take us through stages of parenting, newborn, adolescence and teen, and ending with a few adult-age anecdotes that gently pull on the heartstrings, bringing the book full circle and reminding you why you parent.
Made me laugh on each and every page. Crying-laughing for many. And maybe we’ve had a lot of adventures or something, because I utterly related to every situation in this book. Part of a new series, and I am looking forward to You’re Not a Real Dog Owner Until…
Great book for new parents and anyone with children.

Cute and funny illustrated book about the joys (or not-so joys haha) of parenthood. An example of the joke of the book is, "You're not a real parent until... you've accidentally asked your friends if anyone needs to go potty before leaving a restaurant." This would be a great baby shower gift or present for a new parent.
