I got this book in a different fashion than usual. I won a gift basket in a raffle. The gift basket was donated by a local apiary. Inside the basket was this book.

Almost a pamphlet, it describes all the good health effects taking honey will provide.

Informative, but really a long advertisement.

I was looking for an alternative read last month and came across this selection. I have always enjoyed honey in my morning coffee and thought why not investigate this additive further? I was fascinated by the complexity of honey and the research behind it. Dr. Fessenden provided a lay introduction and understanding of the science and biology behind honey and its effects. I was so intrigued that I performed a single case design using my Garmin device to measure stress while sleeping. Sure enough, my stress levels were elevated on those nights in which I did not take a spoonful of honey before bed and markedly reduced when I did take some honey at night. Surely an insufficient science project but sparked more curiosity which in itself proves rewarding. This selection is encouraged for all seeking an understanding of the benefits of using honey over other forms of natural and processed sweeteners. This path seems healthier as a choice.

Very comprehensive and informative

Really surprised by the scope and how scientific the examples were, not the usual unqualified ra ra this will make you superhuman in 2 weeks. It was quite a long but worth it, Ill be reading more of their books.

Repetitive, but a good explanation of the many health benefits of honey all in one place.

interesting read as I have started bee keeping. A little extreme on benefits, but enough to try to be more consistent in my honey consumption.

Amazing book. I learned so much about honey from this book. It's very well organized and structured. Explanations are done in a plain English, so I could understand. Great book.
