My name is Christopher Greyson, and I am a storyteller.

Since I was a little boy, I have dreamt of what mystery was around the next corner, or what quest lay over the hill. If I couldn’t find an adventure, one usually found me, and now I weave those tales into my stories. I am blessed to have written over twenty novels.

My love for tales of mystery and adventure began with my grandfather, a decorated World War I hero. I will never forget being introduced to his friend, a WWI pilot who flew across the skies at the same time as the feared, legendary Red Baron. My love of reading and storytelling eventually led me to write and it’s the best job I’ve ever had.

I love to hear from my readers. Please visit ChristopherGreyson.com, where you can become a preferred reader, download an exclusive Jack Stratton mystery, and receive advanced notifications of book releases and more! Please follow Detective Jack Stratton on Twitter @chris_greyson and Facebook https://www.facebook.com/ChristopherG.... Thank you for reading my novels. I hope my stories have brightened your day.

Sincerely,

Christopher Greyson

Fun book!

This book was funny, exciting, scary, and just pure fun! The characters are well developed and likable. I think my favorite character is Han. He had me cracking up every time he opened his mouth, though I was sure Bravik, the Dwarf, would kill him eventually for talking too much. Thanks, Mr. Greyson for a really fun read!

"An Extraordinary Creative Fantasy"

This is a fantasy story of action, romance, and humor, filled with wonder and excitement. Young Dean Walker is street savvy. With the police searching for him, he takes refuge in the shadows of the city. One night he comes upon an old man being mugged and rescues him. The man claims to be from Kish, another world being destroyed. Walker goes through the portal to Kish to help save their world. This is an epic novel which will engulf you. The genre is rare for this mystery thriller author, Christopher Greyson. But it's a classic for sure! Highly recommend for adults and it's also suitable for young adults to enjoy.

Dean is a streetwise guy, who gets caught up in saving an old man. The old man, Panadur, is a wizard, and he trains Dean to be a warrior.

After Panadur’s death, Dean mgoes to the world he’s been told about to save it from the evil Volsur. He meets Han, Bravic, and Oieda, a brave group to round out his team.

They face many ugly monsters, the Krulgs, and use trickery to make their way to the final showdown.

I love the idea that Panadur’s brother is the evil one, and that the third brother needs to be saved. Han is really funny, Oieda brave, and Bravic strong and solid. They each play an equal role in creating the final outcome, with Dean leading the way.

Fun read.

I gotta say i really like the fantasy of the book. My favorite character is a toss up between han or oeida, though my least fav character has to be dean from point in his training he becomes very whiny while the other point he is in a fight he gets very cocky at some points even it looks like he getting but whipped although that being said my favorite characteristic about dean is how he cares for his companions and others. It is a good book although a part of ending could been cut out when carimous sends dean back to his own world only to send him back to the other.

Dean gets a father, self respect, friends, and adventure

Good story line but at time it was slow. Had to put it down and come back later to continue. I did skip passages as it got droll. The concept of a tragic young man becoming a warrior involved in time travel and how he finds friends to go on his adventure to kill an evil wizard is alluring and magical. Go to read to children who suffer lack of self respect loneliness and desperate situations

Pure Fantasy Review

I loved this story. It was full of adventure, lots of twists, turns and humor. The main characters all had very distinct personalities, yet blended well. There were several subplots, and the characters though of different species were very human like, as all of then had their faults too. A fun read.

Disjointed. Totally inane. The "plot" seems constructed of whatever random thought might pop into the author's mind without regard to whatever has come before. It was a waste of time even free on kindle unlimited.

Wow!!!

This fast paced book was an easy read. I enjoyed it immensely! I hope Mr Greyson decides to continue it with another installment. I'll be watching for it because I loved the characters and wouldn't mind seeing them again in some more adventures.

Great book

Don’t usually read fantasy books but like this author so I thought I’d try. The book drew me in and entertained me through out. I’d recommend this to anyone. I really liked the ending giving Dean a family and maybe more adventure books.

A decent read

Compared to other books by Greyson, this one is predictable and slow paced. If there were more intriguing plots or magic involved then this book would have been more exciting to read.

Simplistic, poorly written

Reads like a sketch of a cartoon. Nothing original, about at a twelve year old level, more or less a video game

A fun read if you like either of the aforementioned plus a little wizard of oz. I wish he had made a series with this.

Amazing sci-fi

I say amazing sci-fi because all the Greyson books I have read have been mysteries and spy thrillers. He has written a very entertaining novel in this genre. I also enjoyed the Dean character’s tongue in cheek dialogues. This writer is superb.

Fantasy a lot of the time was just a lot about how the pure of heart can conquer evil with the courage to face evil

Meh. So far all his books (I've read 5) have the same flaw. They start like he hasn't a clue how to start. Once he gets going, he tends to hit a stride, and the rest of it reads pretty well. The beginning is like pulling off a bandaid, though. Best gotten through quickly.

This one is a fantasy. Angry orphan teen meets mentor who teaches him to fight and tells him there's another world sort of attached to this one - through a gateway of sorts - where a hero is needed. Doesn't give him a lot to go on, only that he supposed to go and stop his mentor's brother Volsur, who's become truly evil. The old guy dies, the kid goes through the portal and starts collecting Companions as they head toward the city where Volsur is. A quest. And of course, some of the people they meet are helpful, others try to kill them. Some do both at various times.

There's a bit of deus ex machina toward the end, which was annoying. As much as I grow to care about the main characters in most books, I admire an author who's got the balls to let one or two die when that's what the story desires. I could actually feel the story twisting to let them live. Kind of like the end of Eagle Eye. He should have died. Having him live just killed the movie.

Anyway, it was okay. Not great, barely even good, but okay.

Loved it! For kids, yes! I'm very much an adult and I still loved it!

This action adventure story may have been written for teens, yet I found it fun and very entertaining! I really liked the concept of an average teenage boy, who was brave enough to help a stranger, was thought to be of great worth. Young people are not believing in themselves these days. This story, besides being an exciting rollercoaster ride, conveys the message if you work for it and believe in yourself, you can conquer many things in life.
