Thankfully many survivors of the Holocaust, once reluctant to share their horrific experiences are now telling their stories. Here are four of them, four separate stories told by survivors who were teenagers during the War. Though they survived, they all had family members who did not. This book would be useful in teaching WWII to fifth or sixth graders.

Several books in this series. All of them are excellent.

If I used this for teaching, the kids would need a character sheet to keep up with the teens and a map of Europe to track their journey.
