Five year old River Sierra wants a mother - a mother just like the beautiful fairy in her storybook. So when J.J. Randell turns up on her doorstep, it seems that her wish has come true - J.J. seems to be a perfect mother candidate. Only River's daddy is less convinced. Raven Sierra has turned his back on love. Now he's torn between his tortured past and his little girl's dreams. J.J. realizes the situation is hopeless. But River is convinced that her miracle mommy can do anything - even persuade her difficult daddy to take another chance on love! All the little matchmaker now has to do is convince her daddy!
I love family first and foremost, which is why writing family sagas and stories that involve family is so much fun. Maybe you can tell that from my books since they always feature the warmth and joy and ridiculousness that comes from having a close-knit family.
I also love animals and have taken in rescue dogs and cats and fostered dogs for the local animal shelter.
And of course, I love writing. All I need is a functioning brain (batteries not included), a pen, and paper, and I can write anywhere. Please don’t let a conversation with me lag because my imagination takes over and I. Am. Checked. Out!

The author is becoming my favorite. I hardly remember when the last time I gave 2 HP'S 4 stars in a row. I liked the main characters but I loved the kid, River. She is an adorable and intelligent kid. 😘 The book has a very simple storyline but I must say, the execution of the story is tremendous. And the book is 100% SAFE. ☺
This one was okay, GEM the computer is back and helping a five year old wish of a mother come true, the victims the heroine JJ who thinks she is finally getting a chance to play Santa(she's the sister of the heroine in Her Secret Santa) and the hero who has no plans to wed or fall in love after his wife died.
The hero is very protective of his daughter and thinks JJ's brother-in-law cooked up some scheme, while the heroine is shocked to learn what her mission is and unwilling, she at first thinks that Raven is like her father, controlling and cold but soon learns differently and they pretend to play house for some time, but the hero doesn't like the make-believe world his daughter likes because it kind of killed his wife.
I have been really excited to read this because I wanted to know what would happen with J.J. She was so sad at the end of Jacq's book, and I wanted to see her get her HEA. The problem is that Raven Sierra doesn't believe in HEAs or any other fanciful nonsense. He is trying to bring his daughter, River, up without all of that stuff. But River, who is just adorable, is convinced that she can wish a mother into her life. That wouldn't be possible except for MIA, the highly intelligent computer that has a soft spot for River. It makes way more sense in the book. Anyway, I don't want to give anything away, but this story has lots of fairy tale imagery and lots of big emotions. I totally cried through the last two chapters -- but in a good way. J.J. definitely got the kind of story I wanted her to have.
Grab your tissues because Matched to the Bride is a heartwarming and delightful story full of love and fantasy and fairies and dragons and a sassy matchmaking AI named MIA. Sweet little River makes a birthday wish and her unsuspecting father, Raven and sweet JJ Randall (Jacq’s sister from Secrets Santa’s Bride) take the brunt of MIA and River’s clever little plan.
If you want really special, lighthearted, creative, funny and emotional books that are full of magic, jump into the Matchmakers series and start at the beginning with One Day Bride then move onto Secret Santa’s Bride; these will set you up for Matched to the Bride.
I highly recommend and can’t wait for the next book in the series to release!
Matched to the Bride is Book 3 of the Matchmakers series. It's a whimsical, OTT, grumpy-sunshine, single dad gets a wife romance. Raven is a somewhat cynical and jaded single dad to the adorable River. He does not believe in love and whimsy anymore after the loss of his wife. But his sweet daughter, River, wishes a mom into existence. Add in a sweet and sassy AI computer named Mia who adores River and the lovely JJ and we have quite the story. This really was such a sweet story with a very happy HEA.

I loved this book! Raven and J.J. make the perfect couple and watching their love grow and develop over the course of the story was very heartwarming. I was drawn into the story from the beginning and it was really hard to tear myself away. Although the book is a standalone, I recommend reading Secret Santa’s Bride first. It provides a lot of background for this story.
Oh bravo! What a perfect fairy tale! This book sucked me in and I couldn’t put it down. Such engaging characters. I loved River, Raven, J.J and MIA. MIA the AI created so much trouble and so much fun. Highly recommend reading the book. Can’t wait to read the rest of the series.
Oh my goodness, what an amazing story. A good dose of fantasy mixed with a bit of reality. I absolutely loved it. So well written with characters you wish were real. I’d give it more than 5 stars if I could. Don’t miss out on getting this one.

Raven Sierra is trying to bring his daughter River up without the one thing the child wants , a mother…She wishes it to be so. Does he break his own heart or his daughters? No spoilers except to say it’s unusual in its greatness . A fairytale style story to catch your heart. Well written and engaging.

This one was a bit confusing with the fairy Justice and Nemesis. The child River was the impetus for J.J. and Raven's romance. It was all just a little too contrived.
