I really enjoyed this one and I’m left wanting more. The Steel Berserkers have really grown on me.

I mean this one’s just crazy. Nomad stalks a pregnant Landry for months. Kills her husband and moves her and her kids in with him. All he wants is for her to love him. I mean you couldn’t write this stuff. Well obviously you can.
Despite it being out there it worked for me. I loved Silas and wanted him to find his HEA. Landry and the kids are everything he wants.

Now I’ve been a fan of this authors books since the first Damaged book came out. I don’t like everything she writes but I do like the majority, to varying degrees. In every series there’s usually a character I don’t like or connect with. Or a saying or word that drives me nuts. A prime example is the guy who said “welp” all the time. Don’t get me started on that one.
But here they’re all interesting and I want more. I think for me this will be the best series of hers since Damaged.

Silas "Nomad" Bennings has always been part of the Steel Berserkers MC, but he beats to his own drum. Seeing Landry Cooper with her kids he knows he wants her, he watches her and sees her growing round with another child. Nomad has always had a plan to have Landry and her kids by her side, taking her away from her abusive husband. That all changes though when he swoops in seeing something that enrages him, next thing he knows he has Landry her kids in his home and makes it very clear what he wants. He wants Landry to love him.

Landry knows she is broken. She is uncertain if she can trust Nomad but the ore she is in his home the more she begins to trust. Can she embrace a life with a man who is a killer or will this just be another in a series of mistakes she makes?

I really liked this one, very different then the other book. I thought every aspect of this one was fascinating and I really enjoyed Nomad. He is honest with his feelings for Landry, he is honest about his past and what he hopes for the future. Landry and he kids broke my heart and you see her confidence grow which is a wonderful thing. Really good book.

Another 3.5 stars for the second book in this series

Am I rating these too high? Yeah, probably. Am I enjoying these reads a lot? Also yes. This is an even more insane premise than book one (in which this storyline was teased) and it’s just the most unhinged instafamily ever, but Bijou makes it work in the wacky way she always does. Basically Nomad stalks Landry and her family of 4 (soon to be 5) children plus her abusive husband for months before murdering said abusive husband and immediately moving mom and kids into his house and having Landry sleep in his bed first night 😅 unhinged to say the least but if you suspend disbelief it’s fun I promise haha I personally love instafamily, cute kids, single parents, pregnancy, there’s even one kid that’s not biologically hers which I extra love, plus there’s the MC…all good things🙏 can’t wait to read Armor & Yazmin’s book next!

Nobody makes me enjoy a slow burn romance like Bijou Hunter! Her writing style is so engaging. I'm glad Nomad was speaking so loudly we could read his book already

I love this brotherhood and the author’s fabulous storytelling! This is a terrific second story in the series and can be read as a standalone but I recommend you read the first one. You don’t want to miss the beginning of the Steel Berserkers and their crazy ride to dominance. They rule the town and most of the county dealing with enemies in a brutal manner. These brothers are unique with harsh realities and a terrific brotherhood. They went through so much as longtime friends and the fight to reach the top and stay there. There were hints of things to come with Nomad in the previous story and I thought he went off his rocker with his crazy plan for the young mother and her kids. Well, he made it come true in brutal, berserker fashion. I love all the layers to Nomad as he makes his dreams come true. The young mother Landry is a sad, broken woman in an abusive marriage with lots of kids. When the huge, scary biker saves her she doesn’t trust it. Nomad and Landry’s journey is sweet and sexy and romantic. Who doesn’t want a capable, wealthy, sexy beast as a savior? Her kids were a fabulous part of the story. The author really made them come alive with frailties and insecurities from what life dealt them in their short lives. But they have a great mother in Landry. In addition to the heartbreaking moments in the story there is also moments of fun, family and laughs. The women are fantastic in the story. The Prez sister, Wynonna is a standout as the hilarious mother that had me laughing hard. I love the fiery club lawyer Kourtney but we didn’t get much of her. All the club brothers and the lone woman show up to support Nomad and his new family and to fight the new and old enemies. Landry’s in laws are a stupid, crazy bunch of rednecks that were as funny as they were dangerous. It didn’t take long for the brothers to deal with them. There are a couple of enemies that are leftover for the next stories in the series. This is a different type of biker story even though it has the typical club dynamics with danger, intrigue and bloody battles. The story focuses mainly on the romance with the club activities protecting and supporting Nomad and his new family. This story deals with heavy issues and doesn’t shy away from the harsh realities of bad decisions and abusive relationships. On the flip side, there are lovely moments of family love and friendship and light moments of laughter. I loved the epilogues and the hint of the next story. There are so many intriguing brothers and the one sister for many more stories. I can’t wait! This one was so good and worth the read.

Nomad may just be crazy, thats really what I thought in book one annnnnnd maybe a tincy bit in this book but man did I love every bit of his crazy behind. He's pretty much stalking Laundry. I mean what else do you call it when he's watching her all the time and just waiting for her to give birth so her can take her and her kids. Then her stupid horrible excuse for a husband does something even stupider than he's done int eh past and Nomad is done waiting and now he's going to act.

I loved the reason Nomad finally makes his move sooner than expected it shows just how amazing he truly is. And he really does come-lyly love Laundry and all of her kids he's a crazy soft teddy bear when it comes to them all and I loved him to pieces. After taking Laundry and her kids Nomad knew there would be some adjusting but her former husbands family seem to be dumber than ever Nomand and Laundry thought causing all kinds of issues. Laundry is also very pregnant and bringing all her kids into this new crazy relationship making her doubt that Nomad can really lover her. She comes with a lot of baggage and her kids have issues of their own stemming from their wicked father but Nomad is all in and already in love with each and every one of these kids he wants to claim just as much as Laundry including the baby that is yet to be born. All these kids and Laundry are his family simple as that now he just needs to convince Laundry of that fact.

Ok Nomad just shoved his way to the top of my favorite heroes list. His is simply put amazing and one of a kind. He loves not only Laundry but all of her kids as his own and will do every single thing possible to show them that and to take care of them. Laundry has been beat down and she's not sure she's worth all the trouble but Nomad is set to convince her his love is very real and will never end.

I loved this book Bijou Hunter is for real making it hard for me to pick my favorite book and hero from her. I loved every single minute of this book from work one to the very end. I wish I could read this book again for the first time, it's simply put perfection and I can't recommend this book enough.

*Thank you Bijou Hunter for this Beta Book.

This book had me all up in my feelings. Like waaaaay in there. I found myself sobbing in those first few chapters and again at the end. Let me say this isn't a sad book - it's actually a story full of hope. Landry is worn down by life. She escaped an abusive home only to fall into relationships with abusive men. She's trapped in her marriage to Neal with 4 kids and one on the way. When Neal finally crosses the line of physically hurting one of the children she knows she needs to escape ASAP. What she doesn't know is there is a beast of a man that's been watching her and planning that escape. Enter Silas - and when I say enter Silas I mean: "Hearing keys unlock the door, I sigh and wait for one of the Coppers to enter... As if to create a more dramatic effect, the front door swings slowly open. A massive shadowed figure enters. Despite a lifetime of violence, I'm instantly gripped by fear. I stare in horror at the broad-shouldered beast standing over six foot six. His heavy chest expands with hard, angry breaths. His long, dark hair and thick beard give him an untamed aura."

Silas is Landry's white knight. "You're tired in a way that won't wash off, but I'm not. I have energy for us both, so let me be in charge." And so the rescue and path to healing begins. As all Bijou books are there is plenty of humor sprinkled throughout. Landry: "You show up at my house and say you want me to love you. Yet, whenever I hint how I want to fool around, you act offended by the very thought. I'm starting to feel like you're a tease."

The kids are fantastic as always because Bijou writes children so well. They're never afterthoughts in the story and they always are clearly defined personalities. Damsel in distress is my favorite trope and it's even better if our h is being rescued from an abuser. I have my own demons I fight for this same reason. I simply loved this book. 5 stars.

Silas: "You're so quiet that I keep checking in the dark to make sure you didn't run away." Landry: "I'm not going anywhere. If you want rid of me, you'll need a crowbar to pry me out of your house and away from you."

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

However, this time, the stubborn son of a bitch might have gone too far. Landry Copper spent her life bouncing from one dangerous situation to another. This is a dark romance and might contain triggers for some readers. You will want to heed the warnings in the beginning of the book. This is the story of Nomad and Landry.
Nomad is an enforcer for the Steel Berserkers MC and he certainly has a reputation that strikes fear in the most hardened man. However he just might have gotten himself into a little mess. Laundry has spent her life it seems going from one dangerous situation to another. She is never going to be able to say that she has lead a dull life at all ever. But now she has a MC enforcer who claims to have killed her abusive husband on her tail. Nomad isn't a man who needs much in this life but he does want for Laundry to love him. He knows that he loves her and he just wants that one simple little thing. This is why he offers her a place to live. A place to feel safe and be comfortable. However there are things going one and they just might become born of this madness and could be on the road to disaster. You have to read to find out what is going to happen but I loved these characters. This book was one that I didn't put down and I loved every single second of it. It has twists and turns and angst by the bucket loads. The romance is a slow burn and you will find yourself rooting for Nomad and Laundry the entire time.

Absolutely fantastic! I wasn’t even sure I was going to like this book, considering all the kids involved! Too much interaction with kids who seem unrealistic or annoying will easily distract from the main romance. In this book, Landry’s kids were an integral part of the story. While Landry and her kids were compelling, Nomad was the star. He was a stalker with a heart of gold. He’s crazy but lovable. “ I planned to break Landry free once the baby was born. I even made a list of shit to do before I revealed myself to her—redo the nursery to fit her baby’s unknown—to me—gender, cut my long hair, shave my beard, and kill her man. Only the hair thing might trip me up. “

Nomad’s interactions with his club brothers were great, especially his relationship with Ruin. Their baby shower “gifts” for Nomad were epic. I love when evil people get their comeuppance and the Coppers got just that!

Looking forward to Selene and Armor’s book next.

This book is a wild ride. Silas “Nomad” Bennings is an interesting guy to say the least. Once upon a time he thought he had what he always wanted, a family, but it turned out to be a lie. Years later he sees a random woman and in an instant he’s obsessed. If you’ve read book 1, and I hope you have, you know he begins to stalk her. This book is that story.

Landry has not had a good life, she has bounced from one bad situation to the next. This time she is trapped. She had children with her latest mistake. She dreams of running away someday, if only she can keep from having more babies so she is able to run.

“a match made in madness” is an accurate description of this relationship, but it is an awesome book. I highly recommend it and I am anxiously awaiting book #3.

~~~~~~~~~~Tracy's ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review~~~~~~~~~~
Landry's life and the life of her children has been one of abuse and neglect. When Silas “Nomad” Benning’s sees Neil Copper break Landry’s daughter Blair’s arm he knows he must step in. He takes Landry home and eliminates most of her problems. Can she and her kids trust Silas or will he treat them like every other man in her life has before. I loved Silas and how he started opening. Danger is around the corner, but no one hurts anyone in this MC family without consequences. I can't wait for Armor’s story next.
I really enjoyed this book. Silas is a hard man but he means well. Landry has her hands full but it astonished by his generosity. Sweet read.
Another Winner
These two authors gave me another awesome MC book that I couldn’t put down. Nomad was the enforcer for the Steel Berserkers MC and he was a man that was feared for good reason. Landry was a woman who had a hard life. Now with Landry’s abuser dead Nomad wants to be the one to give her a safer life. If things could ever be so simple. That certainly isn’t in the cards for Nomad and Landry. I was hoping for their HEA throughout the book.
I love the writing of these two authors because their books are intense, dark, gritty and oh, so good. I can't wait for the next book in this series to come.
Steel Berserkers MC book 2 Bits and Pieces by Bijou Hunter and Noelle Zane was just as good as Pieces of Me. We still got the gritty MC life. I really liked Silas. Even though he was a killer and a brutal part of the club I liked him. Landry's life was about as sad as you could get. The couple both came with baggage and needed each other to heal. The authors made sure we re visited past characters. Totally started the book and couldn't stop reading. I'm dying to read more about the secondary characters. I just loved the epilogues! Another triple kudos!
I liked this book of course since Bijou Hunter is one of my favorite authors, but something about it kept me from loving it. Possibly the mention of Kati every 2 seconds. That was very much annoying. I also think they spent a good bit of time apart in the book, it seemed like they were always doing things with other people rather than with each other.
I loved that Silas loved the kids but I wish their interactions had been more showing and less telling. Like we were told they called him dad, instead of actually “seeing” it.
This is Nomad and Landry‘s story and it’s violent, gritty, exciting and emotional. Nomad claims to have killed her abusive husband and just wants to offer her a safe place to land but will Landry take him up on that? She has bounced from one dangerous situation to another and now finds herself in bed with a killer. I loved how Landry loved her children fiercely. Will she be able to extend that love to Nomad?
The second installment is as awesome as the first. I love the MC in these books. The Authors tackle hard subjects with finesse and taste. A light quill and ink against some heavy subjects with impressive accuracy.
Well done get um all.
Wow! Another amazing book in the Steel Berserkers MC series! I loved Silas “Nomad” and Landry’s story! Nomad has wanted Landry since he first saw her. He couldn’t wait for her to be his. When the opportunity presents itself he took it! It might take Nomad a while to convince Landry that all he wants is for her to love him. I loved the family Nomad made with Landry and her children. They made a wonderful family! Bits and Pieces is a wonderful story with interesting and enjoyable characters! With action and twists that will keep you reading until the end! I loved this story! Thank you Bijou for another fantastic MC romance! I can’t wait for the next book in the Steel Berserkers MC series!
Oh my! This book has created quite the quandary for me. I think that I have to move Silas 'Nomad' Bennings to the very top of my favourite book heroes of all time list. *swoon*
Why you may ask?? He is, after all, a violent biker with stalker tendencies. Well ... you'll just have to read the book. And then you will completely understand why he's top of the heap.
Nomad isn't the only character in the book though. I really liked Landry as well. She made the best of the terrible situations in her life. And she loved those babies something fierce. I loved their relationship, something about it just felt so real. Add in glimpses into some of the other members of the Steel Berserkers - like Armor and Goose - and I am super excited for more books in this series.
