Never went to parties or stayed out late. I had a plan. And that plan didn’t include him. He left. I begged him not to go and he left anyway. I wanted to hate him. I really tried to. Then he came back. Or at least his body did. I’m not too sure where his mind is most days. Not anymore. He says I’m still his good girl, but he doesn’t know what I’ve done. Will he feel the same way when he finds out? Noah The tiny dancer had more fight in her than most guys at recruit training. I’ve been watching her grow for a few years now, from a distance. One night, that’s all it took to change both of our lives. I’d say for the better. She’d tell you for the worse. Just when I had her where I wanted her, under me, around me, consuming me, I was deployed. I will come home to her though, because no matter how much ocean separates us, that tiny dancer, the good girl, is now mine. I’m not sure what’s the internal war raging inside my head, or the one I’m about to enter in order to get her back… This is book 4 in a Second Generation series. It is a standalone and you do not need to read the 1st generation stories first. A series of Standalone Billionaire romances with suspenseful twists and turns. Absolutely adored Ava and Noah’s story and as always Kylie’s writing.

Such a beautiful love story written in true Kylie fashion.

Ava and Noah have known of each other for years. Ava’s a dancer, Noah’s a soldier, what better polar opposites?! Ava properly meets Noah while attending a party and noticing her tire is slashed. And as Ava so exquisitely puts it, “the rest is history.” After a tragic accident, will they get their HEA?

Being a military spouse this story hit close to home and I loved every moment of it especially Ava’s resilience and Noah’s overprotectiveness of Ava. This is the one Kylie story that reflects so much of my own relationship that it forced some reflective time as I read it. Nonetheless, I LOVED where Ava and Noah ended up. I also appreciated the minimal smut factor given their ages. Such scenes were written with taste and truly reflected their love. Finally, I absolutely LOVE that in all of Kylie’s stories the family’s ALWAYS want what’s best for their kids/siblings/relatives but also trust them to bring those they love into the family. There is a continual cycle of love, support, and strong family bonds and values.

Strong 5/5. I cannot wait for Reclaiming Lola and am hoping we’ll be introduced to Brent and Cassidy in a future story.

Tethered To Him was a little bit of a surprise for me. You knew something was going on with Ava from the earlier books in the series. Unlike the other books where it was quite obvious where it was leading and you kind of had a rough idea of how it would play out, Kylie then threw us a little loop with Noah and Ava.

Ava is the only daughter of Zak and Alyssa, she's got two brothers who are also as overprotective as her father and Uncles. But unlike the other girls in the family, Ava is so focused on her dream to dance professionally in the ballet that boys just aren't a priority.

Noah is a couple of years older but from the first time he saw Ava, he knew one day he would make her his. It seems the fates have finally lined up and Noah is going after his girl. Noah is from old money which he has little to do with and has gone way outside of his box joining the army.

Like always once Noah makes up his mind, he's getting his girl even if she plans to fight it. Falling for each other isn't the hard part though. These two have some big obstacles to face.

It was truly a beautiful story and I could fall for Noah Hunt every day of the week.
.
.
.
Ava doesn't party she's got her goals and she'll do whatever to achieve them, but being the best friend she can be, she ends up at a party with her friend. Although she leaves early, as always, the night takes a sudden turn when Noah Hunt shows up.

Noah has wanted Ava for years, he's been in love with her for years, but he's waited, knowing the time had to be just right. She's about to turn 18 and he's back in Sydney, so now couldn't be more perfect. Especially since he's managed to get her in his car as a captive audience. While he watched Ava from afar he fell harder and harder, now he just has to show her what she really means to him.
"I've been waiting years for you to acknowledge my existence. And I'll continue to wait. You might not be ready to accept that this is happening. But we will happen, It's a matter of when not if."

Boys have never been on her radar, but even Ava admits when she first saw Noah Hunt in high school she wanted him. He graduated two years ago and she hadn't seen him since. Now she can't stop thinking about him and wanting to talk to him and when Noah makes every effort to be in her life she can't deny just how much she wants to be with him.

Keeping it a secret from her family could prove to be a risk, but she's just not willing to share what time she can spare Noah with anyone else. When Noah's job pulls him away from her, Ava is brokenhearted. His job is risky and dangerous and if he never comes home she'll never recover.
"He's the beginning and the end of my entire world. And now he's gone, so where does that leave me."

Noah isn't prepared for what he faces as a member of the special forces. The way he left Ava kills him but he had to go. Now all he can do is do his best to get back to her in one piece.
"Noah, wherever you go, wherever they send you, please always come back for me."
"I will always come back to you, A. You're my future - my everything."

Happy Reading.

Okay lets be honest here Kylie Kent is an author I will always read and I've never had a bad read from her. So we know full well Tethered To Him is going to be a 5 star read.

I absolutely love the Merge series, seeing all the main characters grow, then these characters kids grow and see their romances. It's just like you're part of the family, which is exactly how I feel in all of these books.

I am a sucker for a second chance romance. Even more so with a broody man whose all touch her and you die!

Noah is just urgh, he's honestly a sweetie who also is very alpha. Ava I adore, especially as I'm an ex ballet dancer myself. I honestly couldn't of matched these two any more perfectly than they are.

The twist with Noah, oh my, my heart broke. Generally was like is this going to end happy!? Kent certainly likes to keep you on your toes uncertain.

I like this story because I feel Noah and Ava's love story was more than just sex. They really had a deep connection and I loved seeing them to just grow and really get to know one another.

Honestly this is just a lovely warm feeling romance that you can read in one sitting. You can't help love the characters, feel all their emotions and have the biggest smiles for them too. Definitely cannot fault how Kylie Kent can make me feel good in reading a book.

Tethered to him is part of the Merge Series 4th Generation and follows Ava (Zac and Alyssa's daughter from the first Merge book) and Noah. Ava is about to graduate from high school and is planning on pursuing her dream of becoming a leading ballet dancer. Noah has had eyes for Ava for years, now in the army, he is home visiting when he runs into her at a party and they get to talking. Neither can deny the chemistry. However, Noah's job is dangerous and so can they really be happy long term?

I love this series of books. I have been reading Kylie Kent since her debut of Merged With Him when we were first introduced to the first generation characters, namely Zac and Alyssa. Over the course of the books we have come to meet Ava and so it was lovely to have her story to read. This one is definitely full of emotion and angst, probably the most angst from any of Kylie's books, and my heart broke multiple times over. Of course, we get Kylie's signature HEA and it was just so perfect.

The writing, as always, is very easy to read. The chapters flow well and are not too long. We get the POV of both Ava and Noah throughout also. Would thoroughly recommend!

I received an ARC of this via the author. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I am finally getting caught up on my ARC reads!

A good girl with a plan. A bad boy who isn't really bad. Both hiding feelings for the other. Its not until a chance meeting that either of them admit it to the other.

One thing I didn't like about the book was how it kind of felt instant lovey. I wish there was a bit more build up to Ava's and Noah's relationship. I get that Noah is super possessive over Ava(but in a good way;not too overbearing), but some more lead up would've been better.

Overall, I enjoyed the flow and plot of the story. It makes me want to read more of this series and the original series as this is a spinoff of the original. The books can be read in any order but they all interconnect, including the original series. It's not super spicy either so it's perfect for those looking for a love story series that isn't duper heavy on the spice.

Wow a beautiful, ensnaring, all incompassing story. The emotions this book drew out were like no other.

Noah is a gorgeous gentleman with heart, soul, loyalty and a true inspiration... He also has a fabulous dirty side... There were times I wanted to throttle him and others where I wanted to love on him, cuddle him etc.

Meanwhile Ava is the good girl who is so focused on her dreams, she doesn't take anything for granted and knows hard work is necessary to get there. When she meets Noah her world view changes, her dreams stay the same but she learns there is more to life than dance. Her character growth is outstanding, her teenage girl antics are hilarious and yet wholesome. There were times when I wanted to shake her but there were many more where I wanted to give her love, advice, hugs and praise.

Their story together makes for absolute perfect bliss, an un-put-downable read which you'll devour in one sitting and need to go back for more.

Okay! So, this was my first Kylie Kent novel and I can assure you, it will not be my last.

Side note: I did hear that reading Kylie’s other books before this one would be better, due to the fact that characters do cross over, however I still really enjoyed it even without knowing everything that came before (so, from personal experience, you can read this by itself).

From the beginning, the characters drew me in. I mean come on! Noah being a man in uniform who falls for the absolute ‘good girl’ equals a tension filled romance, full of fabulous chemistry. Loved. This!

This book is from a duel POV, which is one of my favourite things about it. I freaking loved seeing things from both Ava and Noah, allowing me to fully understand the characters on a way deeper level. Tethered To Him was such an easy read and I’d highly recommend it.

Thank you Kylie for my ARC! I look forward to reading more of your books!!

Every time I read Kylie Kent's book, I fall in love with ; and this book was no exception. This is my 3rd time of reviewing her book and I'm so excited 😊.

The storyline is amazing ....... whoever will read this book, will fall in love with Noah and Ava. Though I didn't read the 1st generation story but I like the chemistry between Ava's parents.

All the characters are well written and has dept in them. The twist was mind-blowing. Literally cried while reading. The story is packed with different emotions.
The chapters are brief and to the point, no unnecessary explanations and easy read.

According to me, I found the end is written in a bit hurry.....if it had given a bit more time, it would have been good but alltogether it's PERFECT.

Would surely recommend to give it a try .
Thank you for the ARC, looking forward to get more chances of reviewing more of Kylie Kent's book❤️.

Talk about a book that will have you riding an emotional rollercoaster. Ms. Kent definitely gave us a story that will pull on your heartstrings, leave you with an emotional book hangover and one that you will want to read again and again. Tethered To Him tells us the story of a boy/man, Noah, that has always wanted the girl, Ava since he can remember and he finally gets the chance to get her to notice him. Noah has as this spot in his heart Ava and has never made a move since she is two years younger. Seeing her at a party and in a very uncomfortable situation, he has the opportunity to get her to see him. This is the start of a beautiful relationship where two people, who may have never gotten together, fall hard and fast for one another. Their chemistry was instant and it set the pages on fire. Finding out what Noah's job was shocked Ava and she tried to convince him to walk away but he couldn't. Hearts were shattered, lives were changed and secrets were kept. Can Ava survive the heartache and news that she receives? When she sees Noah again will they both be able to go back to normal?

Tethered To Him was beautifully written, emotionally gripping and one story that was impossible to put down. Ms. Kent has a way of writing that pulls you in and has you enthralled with the characters and storyline. Looking for a book that is highly addictive and with a HEA, Tethered To Him is it.

I started The Merge series on Monday - 8 books later (including McKinley ranch duet) and my heart is so full😭

Ava and Noah’s book was absolutely perfect. I was not expecting this book to be an absolute rollercoaster, my emotions were all over the place😩

Where do I begin with Ava & Noah. Well Noah has been in love with Ava since the moment he first saw her dance (definitely gave me winter and Damon vibes from DN). He loved watching his little ballerina🫶🏼. This book is fast paced which I absolutely loved, like the events in this book escalate very quickly and there was no dragging of the plot👏🏼.

On to the Valeninto Empire 👀

"What do you see when you come here?" "Peace."

Did I stay up to 3.30am reading, yes I did!
I couldn't put this down!

This is my first book of Kylie's and you can bet it won't be my last.

YES, you can read this as a standalone.

I am shook!

I LOVED every. Single. Thing.

Noah and Ava are everything, I couldn't wipe the smile off my face, I laughed, I cried, my heart broke, then my heart got mended.

TTH had my attention from the first page, I needed to know what happened like I needed air.

The family dynamics were brilliant, I really want to pick up Ava's parents book next- Merged with him. As they were so cute! I loved her Mum so much!

I loved that it was set in Australia with little nods to our culture.

My ONLY criticism is I need more Ava and Noah.

Thankyou Kylie for an arc and for giving me the biggest book hangover I've had in ages.

Noah and Ava have such an emotional rollercoaster of a story and there were times I was screaming at them both in my head but am so happy with the way it progressed. You can feel Ava’s age and innocence when in come to being in a relationship and dealing with grown up issues and I appreciate Noah’s patience and how he ultimately does what is best for himself while never stopping his expressions of love for her. The chemistry between the two has them continuously being drawn together like magnets and it makes for a beautiful romance.
This was my first book of Kylie Kent’s and while this is part of an ongoing series, it can be read as a stand-alone without feeling like anything is missing. While it was my first book of hers, it definitely won’t be my last. I’m excited to read about the secondary characters and their stories after reading this one

Gahhh, so good! I love Kylie Kent's writing style, and the storylines are always really good, and this one was no exception. Her books are always so realistic/believable, and this one honestly made me feel like I was living in the book, instead of just reading it. Absolutely amazing, and Noah and Ava were so good together! Their chemistry was sizzling, and their connection was palpable. Highly recommended with more than five stars!

(ARC REVIEW)

Ms. Kent this was another great book you have written.

After reading Ash's book, Ignited, I fell in love with his sister Ava and was excited when her book, this book, was announced. Ava truly had my heart. The determination and discipline she had made me admire her. When Noah stepped into the picture things changed. These two together were perfect. I loved watching their growth in this book. I loved watching them fall in love. Then when that twist happened I was gutted and had to remind myself that they do get their happy ending. Their story is not a fairytale and that is what kept me invested. I needed to know more.  I needed to know how their story ended. This story just like her others truly was great. This can be read as a standalone. I do recommend reading her other books because all of the characters interconnect and it makes the stories so much better.

Loved Ava and Noah. They are both so well matched. Noah has always wanted Ava but Ava never thought he was interested in her. One night changed for both of them. Ava lost her plans for the future and Noah went overseas and nearly lost his life, but their love for eachother brought them back together. Very enjoyable read

Not my fave

That may have something to do with the age of the FMC. This one was pretty tame, likely due to the age as well. I did like how her family rallied around her and for once they weren't overly intrusive.

Starting off the book with a wallop was the perfect way to grab my attention. What surprised me is that wasn’t even really the twist.

Ava is the daughter of Zach and Alyssa from the first Merged book. She’s always been the ray of sunshine in the group. Let’s say she may be that but there is a lot more to her and she is fierce. Noah comes into her world and she is smitten to say the least. They are so adorable and hot together. These two are two halves that lock together.

Well as we know no one gets the perfect HEA and about 2/3 of the way in, we the reader get hit with a doozy that tests their relationship. Loved the twists there.

These two, like the other series’ characters just sucked me in. Noah is a perfect book boyfriend who is dreamy in his alpha mode. The only thing that drove me nuts is the consistency with other books. She’s mentioned in the same timeframe in the last two books but it doesn’t add up or maybe I just need to do a review-read.

* I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.

“He’s the beginning and end of my entire world. And now he’s gone, so where does that leave me?”

This book not only had you experiencing all the feels, but it is the epitome of working for what you want! Noah has known for years exactly who he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. Even joining the armed forces won’t stand in his way of who he wants. Ava is the good girl of her family. Who is so focused on her dreams and her future that won’t let anything stand in her way. One night out with a friend and a slashed tire later, and she finds that her future is suddenly changing from what she had envisioned. Just when she was about to out her secret relationship to her family, her whole world comes crashing down around her. The way that these two eventually find their way back to each other is both heart breaking and heart warming at the same time.
I loved getting to see bits from our other loved side characters that we all know and love as well. Another fantastic read by this author and I’m looking forward to what she brings us next!

Ava annoyed me a lot through this but I did keep forgetting she is only 18.
Its super sweet and lovely. Its not spicy which is good due to their age but it doesnt need it, the story is so beautiful on its own. It had me crying in a few spots but the ending had me bawling.
Over all a beautiful love story

Noah and Ava

This book was a lot different than the other three books in the series. Although there is still a bit of the insta love aspect, because of their age it was toned down a lot. I liked that it gave so much background that we were missing from the last three books. It was obvious something was going on with Ava, and we saw her interaction with Noah in the first book, but I’m glad Kylie went back in time to the beginning of their relationship.

I liked Noah and Ava, but their young age came out a lot. Ava could have been a little more understanding and Noah could have explained his reason for leaving a lot better. I loved the way Ava’s family stood by her and allowed her to make her own decisions. Zac and Ash and Axe were all very protective of their little ballerina, but allowing her to make her own decisions when it came to Noah allowed the reader to see the strength she had as a character.

I’m not sure I would call this a second chance romance. I don’t think Ava and Noah truly ever broke up. And the way they came back together was heartbreaking, but perfect for them. I loved the connection they shared.

This was a good book. It was very different from the first three books in this series. My one complaint is that we didn’t get an extended epilogue to tie up the entire series.
