Even steamier than volume one, volume two finds Asumi exploring some more niche sexual experiences. She's a great character, and her confidence keeps growing. This series is a celebration of female pleasure, and it's so fun to read.

There’s not much to say that I didn’t already say about the first volume. This is so cute and queer and wholesome while also of course being very hot and steamy. I loved the threesome part and the progression of lore and cosplaying and stuff. It’s like a informational book about kinks without being info dupmy. While I do love the angst I hope we do make some progression with the plot in terms of the main couple finally coming together and Asumi being reunited with her lost love. They can miss each other only so many times before it will become frustrating.

Besides the smut, I’m actually invested in the story. I really want Asumi-Chan to meet Mai-Chan again. They would be a cute couple and I want to watch them interact.
Also, I’m in love with Iroha. She’s everything. Anyways, I’ll continue with this series. Good smut and I’m entertained with the love story. Toodles!

Asumi still loves brothels. And lesbians. But now she’s got a date with Mai! Or who she hopes is Mai! No, it is, but surely the series isn’t ready to be tied down just yet? Well, perhaps, just not in that way…
Look, if you’re just judging this story based on how hot the sex is, just buy it and have a good time. I’m sure I have used this pun before, but most of these adventures start at titillation and then move swiftly to some very steamy tit-elation.
In particular, as part of her ongoing inquisitive nature, Asumi signs up for two girls at once. And, again, I’m not sure what else you were expecting but this entire chapter is ribald enough to set the pages on fire. I’ve never seen a character enjoy sex that much in manga.
And, hey, that’s the point. Asumi is living her best life (I think the mangaka just might be too) and we get the ringside seat as she explores many facets of sex. The first one is pretty heated, with a rather sweet/funny denouement, but the subsequent threesome and cosplay chapters are downright blistering.
Which is kind of funny, because the best chapter in the whole book doesn’t actually have any sex in it. No, Asumi makes friends with a junior who loves the same anime she does and they go to the movies together.
Now, this movie comes back for a great gag later, and her junior assumed the girls were weird because Asumi’s sempai kept watching porn in their club room, but this is a very sweet meeting between friends that is innocent up to said junior clearly getting very flustered by Asumi. I’ll be interested to see if that comes back.
This volume as a whole is not quite as good - the starting story where Asumi’s place of work has a school days theme is very, very predictable. Although I did laugh at Asumi’s boss ripping the midriff out of the school uniform because she knows what sells.
Of course, this job, plus her intense exploration of brothels, has pushed Asumi to her limit, not that one, the other one, and she ends up too exhausted and having to cancel on Mai. Which is a little obvious, but clearly there’s more sexual awakening that Asumi needs to get out of her system. There’s a rather pointless flashback at the end too.
Look, the point of this series is Asumi going on dates with female escorts and having sex. That is the point. And, well, it achieves those goals without making her out to be a skank or anything that would involve a shaming she doesn’t deserve for having a good time. She is enjoying herself and, yes, that does make a difference, along with its blessedly positive portrayal of sex work.
It is explicit because it’s explicit by nature and it’s nice to have a horny smut book that wants to be a horny smut book and just does so. It has no embarrassment about what it’s doing. I mean, I do reading it, a bit, but that’s a me problem. I’ve definitely read stories for far worse reasons than seeing well-drawn female manga archetypes have sex.
Anyway, there’s no denying that it’s doing what it wants and doing it well. I have seen enough sex scenes in various manga over the years, lesbian and otherwise, but these are amongst the best. And the constant rotation of scenarios keeps it from feeling repetitive, at least for now.
3.5 stars - it’s still sex positive, yep, so we’ll go up again. Asumi is having a great time, so why the heck not? You know by now what you’re in for anyway - let’s not pretend this is the next great work of literature here - and if that’s what you want, you’ll get it and then some.

Still fun, but somehow not as fun as the first one for me. It’s a longer volume but somehow the scenes felt shorter and like there wasn’t as much build up. The threesome scene though 👀 I do also like how all the girls think Asumi is very sweet, it adds to everything feeling like real connections between the girls

Asumi-chan is an utterly charming little "porn" yuri. While the story revolves around a simple concept, that Asumi-chan is looking for her childhood crush who she heard works at a Lesbian Brothel booking a different girl every weekend to meet her again it manages to be so much more then a collection of different sex scenes. We're seeing a younger queer woman explore her sexuality, her life change and how she changes as she discovers more about herself.
We intercut Asumi's journey with cuts to Mai who is still in love with Asumi from their first kiss. The formula is mostly the same as it was in Vol 1 only now Asumi-chan has a few recurring characters in addition to the last batch including going on a not at all smutty little hang out with a new girl to watch her favorite anime series' new movie [which leads to her having cosplay sex with a different girl the next week].
The writer clearly as a bit of a thing for roleplay and cosplay, which is fine by me because as asexual as I am those are basically the only forms of sex that are appealing to me, personally. There is a fairly hot threesome scene too, I just love when girls get to enjoy other girls with other girls, it's really good, fills my polyamorous lesbain heart with glee.
The recurring characters are all fun, they show up long enough to give Asumi a life outside of having sex at brothels. The core romance is compelling in that you want to see if Asumi and Mai would out and if maybe Asumi should take a moment to stop and see what's in front of her too and the potential relationships she is passing up on.
Something very nice about this series is it is very humanizing of the sex workers, all of them are treated like full people with hobbies, lives, preferences. They all become smitten with Asumi to some degree but that's just a part of the fantasy. In this volume we find out one of Asumi's friends is a former sex worker and quit and Asumi herself while not engaging in sex work does have a job at a lesbian cosplay bar with the intention of delighting the women who come in.
This is a masterfully done series that naturalizes sex and feelings and exploring in ways I've never seen in most pieces of art. This is truly a special series and I can't wait for Volume 3 and 4 and more if they make more.

More of a 3.5 star rating;
I should’ve known Asumi wasn’t going to reunite with her Senpai so soon. I got my hopes up but although their reunion didn’t happen, this was still a good volume. It was cute seeing how disappointed both girls got at the cancelled appointment, then Asumi’s panic at the idea of being banned from the brothel. I really liked seeing a familiar brothel girl, while also seeing some new ones and how everyone managed to enjoy their time together. It was also really cute seeing Asumi make a friend who wasn’t familiar with the working of brothels and the red light district in general.

It’s a fun comfy read. I took a break while reading it because it became a tad repetitive. I did end up reading til the end and was happy I continued. Definitely a cozy non-dramatic story that feels slice of life and cute, but filled to the brim with lesbian sex, like over the top all the time having sex. You’d think I’d be all over that, but it gets kinda too similar if they happen every single chapter. This volume starts to break that up slightly, but also if it didn’t I don’t think I’d really mind. The characters kind of look very similar and are kind of hard to tell apart so that adds to that repetitive feel. It’s nice they have character profiles at the end helps differentiate the characters.
Onwards to volume 3! I think this one even changes things up even more so that has me excited lol

She works a daytime job and spends all her money, and still is searching for her childhood love, who is working in one of these brothels but he search turned into an exploration of sexuality. It’s just waaay too freakin’ fun to follow along with how excited Asumi is as she explores new horizons while also searching for her old friend.
This was the sort of series I felt comfortable recommending to the wife, who’s into saucy things with an interesting ‘plot’ to pull it all along - and this has got *all* of that in spades!
It’s weirdly wholesome for how (tastefully?) smutty it can get.

4 stars. This series is so fun, and yes sexy, but it’s also sweet and funny with a wonderful cast of characters. Asumi is just the cutest character and while she hasn’t found Mai yet I hope that she will in the next volume. I’m curious to see how they will react to each other. I’m loving this series so much.

I love how they added some exploring of certain kinks to this volume.
It's also great to see that they add personality to all of the women Asumi visits because in they end, they are just people with preferences and desires as well.
I liked the addition of Nanao as well, as she opens up the interactions Asumi has with other people and further expands on the plot in the next volume.

Much more steamy than volume one boi lemme tell yoooooou 👀 Asumi is definitely hitting all corners of the earth looking for Mai. It feels like an RPG at this point and each session she has is like EXP gained until she meets Mai. I’m reading this purely for what it is: very delicious Yuri smut.
