a interesting book - mostly drawings of different plant in the winter - difficult to search unless you know the name of the plant - but beautiful drawings and I love how the author celebrates plant life in the season that is often seen as "dead".

A good reference book that has caused me to open my eyes and observe those dried winter stalwarts gracing our woods and roadsides this time of year. The descriptions and drawings could have had a bit more detail. It will be difficult to differentiate by just using this book. It was an OK read and I'm not sorry it was chosen as our garden book club selection this month.

This was a great book. The pictures were drawn so clearly with the seeds that identification would be very simple.
