Raven is a dark romance author who writes about unhinged, possessive love interests and the BIPOC leads they are obsessed with. She favors the dark, demented and the deviant. Say her name three times on a full moon, and she might materialize in your room holding a copy of a half-written manuscript.
I almost DNF the first book in this trilogy. The FMC was whiny and weak and I really could not tolerate her. About 50% in, it got better.
Then I read the next 2 books in 36 hours.
This was such a good ending. The FMC found her strength and the relationship between the H and h became so deep. They way they came back from misunderstanding and their devotion to each other was great. The plot held my interest until the end as well
This was an awesome book! This is the third and last book of this trilogy and man was it a ride. I thought that this was the perfect ending for Alex and Alize's story. I was hooked right away with this book and I really didn't want to say goodbye to these characters. I really enjoyed this book series and I am looking forward to Raven Rage's next project.

This book was everything I ever wanted in a bwwm college age new adult erotic romance. This genre does not always get good books in this category and this author knocked it out the planet with Ruthless society. I have been waiting for this last book in the Ruthless Society series since the last book came out and this book was worth the wait!! The action, erotica ,and mystery all in this book are top tier. I Don't normally do spoilers in my reviews but I will say if you are looking for a black woman white man college book that has an obsessed blue eyed tattooed college man who well anlive anyone who messes with alize his beautiful black girl this is for you!!! For this to be this authors first books and series released she gave what it was supposed to give!! Please give us more please in this genre Raven Rage!!!
Holy shit! My emotions were all over the place with this one! My anxiety was high, but it was so worth the ride! Alive and Alexander are perfect for each other! They balance each other out! And the spice....just have a fan to try to cook you down! And I won't spoil it, but just wait for that ending! Like I said, it's so worth it if you love this trilogy and these characters!!
What a conclusion to this series! Alexander and Alize are in love and planning to marry. However, she has to first meet Alex’s dad. There is so much angst and suspense in this book that I couldn’t stop reading. The story is dark with a lot of twist and I was sad to se this story end. Though I am excited that there will be other characters having their own story soon.

Book three picks up where book two ends
Alexander’s attitude changes when he learns the truth about who was responsible for taking his mother away from him, he cannot get a handle on his feelings and emotions and lashes out at Alize.
Alize is yet to tell Alexander that she is pregnant with his child, but after Alexander’s outburst, she thinks it’s best to keep it to herself, until such a time is good to let him know.
Alexander is taking Alize home to meet his father, their first encounter was what Alexander expected. But what Alexander is not prepared for, is his fathers demands that he marry someone of his choosing, but Alexander will not tolerate his machinations any longer, leading to an altercation.
Alexander begins asking questions about Alize’s father, spiking Alize’s interest as to why he is asking these questions in the first place. Alexander has ulterior motives, but can not let on about why. Alize is hiding secrets of her own, and is fraught with worry about how he will react.
But all too soon does Alexander learn that Alize lied to him, and confronts her in a fit of rage, leaving her flustered and bewildered at why he would be speaking to her in such a hard manner. Only when he seeks council from his brother Graham does he have a better handle on his thoughts and feelings, is he able to speak to Alize, where he finally shares the truth of his pain, where Alize now has a better understanding, but also learns that Alexander betrayed her trust, in the process revealing to him, her pregnancy, leading to a drastic change in his attitude and there relationship.
They then attend the birthday party of his father Griffin’s fiancé Sarah, it is an elegant affair. Alize is confronted by Griffin about her relationship with Alexander, he is cruel, his contempt evident, attempting to pay her off, but she will have none of it. But what shocks her the most is the reappearance of her uncle Laurent, things are not adding up, his intentions not kind, he forces her hand.
Alexander is not too pleased to learn that Alize has been taken, people he trusted to watch out for her, failed in their job to protect her. Alexander moves heaven and earth to find her, employing his own resources to aid him. When Alize learns some hard truths, she is shocked, but takes it in her stride, determined to get back to Alexander at all costs. Things begin to click into place, and when Alexander learns who has Alize, he calls in a favour, reluctantly so, but in the end, they pull through. Alexander extracts Alize, her father paying the ultimate price.
But it is far from over, when Alexander confronts his father Griffin, the hurt and betrayal cuts deeps, he has always suspected that his father may have had a hand in what happened to his mother, and his father confirms just as much. He will not stand by any longer as his father throws out disparaging comments about his mother and Alize, determined to inflict as much pain as can, but nothing will prepare Griffin when Alexander takes control, his father finally getting what he deserves, and Alexander becoming the rightful leader of the Empire.
This book has it all dark romance, possessive dominant alpha anti-hero, a fiery spitfire heroine who gives as good as she gets, murder, madness, mayhem, revenge, vengeance, violence, deception, adrenaline seeking suspense, jealousy, twists, turns, truths and betrayal.
This story is told from multiple POV, it will take you on a wild ride, having you turn page after page, this book had me from the beginning to the end. Reading this story, it enables the readers to really connect with the characters, and as the story unfold’s the readers see the development and growth from the characters singularly and together. The author definitely knows how to write and I’ll be coming back for more.
And those s*x scenes, including those BDSM elements were steamy, yet sensual, dirty, hot, intense, physical, provocative, it had all the angry angst, hate, jealousy, pleasure and passion one would except when Alexander gives Alize the pain and pleasure she deserve, his possessive and obsessive need for control and dominance, it was off the charts and had all of the feels.
This isn’t the end for them, and am very much looking forward to seeing where they turn up next, and hoping those burning questions around there marriage and the birth of there baby will be answered in the books to come.
SYNOPSIS (3 Book Series): FC is the daughter of a powerful crime figure who treats her like a possession. Someone is trying to kill her so she is “hidden” at Frederic University. She meets the MC who immediately becomes infatuated with her. There are a couple of sub-plots, one involving the MC discovering who murdered his mother; another with certain individuals trying to stop the MC from becoming a member of the secret society; and another where the jealous ex of the MC tries everything to get rid of the FC. There are the obligatory best friends for both the MC and the FC, various “dramatic” situations in which the FC finds herself and a HEA.
I will say straight off that whilst I read all 3 books I was majorly skim reading by book 3. Whilst the storyline had the chance to be great the author just failed to deliver. I found the FC completely unlikeable because she was just so weak and pathetic. The author tries to redeem her and make her stronger in the later books but she was truly pathetic. To the extent of allowing herself to potentially be raped without saying a word or fighting back. I cannot get on board with this kind of FC. The author also annoyed me with the constant emphasis on the “white, blond girls” being the nasty, prejudiced ones and those that weren’t being the nice/better girls. Really? Way to reinforce prejudices.
The MC was your typical alpha possessive male but seemed more smoke and mirrors rather than substance. The author kept referring to how bad the MC was but there was no evidence of that aside from him carrying a gun. The story limped through 3 books with not much happening and some truly cringeworthy sex scenes. Apparently the FC likes a lot of pain and breath play amongst other things and the MC is a dom who likes to order her around. This is fine and can be sexy and hot but not the way it is written here where, for me, the scenes just came across as a bad attempt at showing the FC as someone other than just vanilla.
The author spent time emphasising the fact that the FC self harmed (cutting) but it all seemed very by the numbers. Again, it frustrates me when authors write about this type of serious issue to give their heroines depth or darkness or to show how “broken” they are but fail to deal with these issues with the research and seriousness they deserve. This should not just be used as a plot device. If it is going to be then do it justice and explain how the FC is feeling, why she is driven to do what she does and cannot stop. The description in these books is very superficial - she cuts to feel pain and control, end of.
The general writing style I found to be quite basic and juvenile with little real depth of characters or story. Ultimately not for me.
There are simply two many coincidences for this story to be believable.
Alexander doesn't sound like a 22-year college student, he sounds like a 32-year old man who has seen some shit. Don't get me wrong, Alex discovered his mother's dead body and that is major BUT he hasn't truly lived yet. When Alize is told of her possible pregnancy and felt unready, I actually felt bad for her. I wished she were older (she's 18) and had more life experience—but most of all, I wish they had discussed and practiced safe sex—it was irresponsible for Alex (he's 22) not to protect her or discuss birth control. It was always a matter of when it was going to happen.
So in this installment, Alex proves he didn't rat her out and they get back together only he discovers a major reveal that has him feeling a myriad of feelings—quite understandable. The actions of the fathers in this story was perplexing, I didn't understand it. Riddle me this ... if Alex's older brother Graham was duped into signing a document that allowed the father to control his inheritance ... wouldn't Graham have told Alex?! Griffin Duke was over the top, it felt at times, for the sake of fulfilling the dark read agenda. His actions
The other thing that didn't make any sense to me is the other male figure in Alize's life, if he was so in love with someone in Alize's family—why wouldn't he protect Alize to the death? I'm being cryptic because I don't want to give anything away. I wondered, if he met this special person in the afterlife, what he would say to them given they were trying to move heaven and earth to be in her life.
I didn't understand the obsession of Alize's father with her, he wanted to keep her under lock and key—it had creepy undertones. The reveal about her mother and her actions—nope, I didn't believe it! The last reveal in the story—really?—was just another unbelievable coincidence. Plus, this story needed an epilogue—desperately!
Hyper clapping over here! 4.5 star read for sure!!!
Redemption!! Alex and Alize definitely had their comeback tour and smashed it!! I could not put this down and I think I read in a day it was so good, that’s with work AND momming! Lol There was tons of suspense MOST questions answered, a few that lingered SPOILERS AHEAD ………………………………
Like why was Grahams wife mentioned as a Courtesan? That story line went nowhere, and what about the Italian mob? Did they ever get their due? Did Alex become the newest King Maker? Did they have a boy or a girl? The wedding? What was in the journals? What happened to Keller? Did Laurent’s brother search for him? Does he know Laurent’s history with Alize’s mom? Did Graham ever come home? What happened to young fiancée of Griffin after he died? Okay, so I guess a bunch of questions but with a few more books coming up I’m hopeful for some answers coming to light! As is the norm this book also had a massive amount of steam. 💦🌶😮💨🔥💦 I was fanning myself and wishing there was a place I could go pick up my OWN Alexander. That man is 🔥🔥! He did indeed get back to his alpha self this book thank goodness and I loved it! Alize had a strong backbone and grew more into it. She was less stubborn for the sake of being stubborn and more take charge of her situation and help herself whenever she could. That was 🤌🏽 on point! All in all I LOVED this series. This new author, Raven Rage, is going to be a powerhouse! This debut series already has all the elements that created this great story which means the only way for Raven to go is up for future ones! Thank you for sharing your art with us!!
WOW is all that I can say!!! All the lies, secrets, and betrayal makes this one hell of a way to end the trilogy. The book is good from the beginning to the end. Action packed, suspenseful, and full of spice. Without giving too much away from the book, because it is best if you read it, i'm just going to randomly give opinions on some of the characters from the book. The books ends with a HEA and is a GREAT read.
Alex discovers a secret that could potentially ruin his chance of happiness with Alize. Alize has a few secrets of her own, but doesn't know when the right time will come to let Alex know what she's hiding. Griffin Duke, Alex's father is the devil reincarnated himself. That man is pure evil. (Uncle) Laurent comes in 2nd place in the next level evil department. I kind of like Lev. Although he was sort of an enemy/ally that had ulterior motives, he was a big piece of putting the puzzle together. Alex's best friends Ezra and Vance grew on me throughout all three books. I LOVE that they ride or die for Alex. Not a fan of Alize's father Michel Moreau. He's a hired hitman that has no feelings. Last but not least is Ben. He is Griffin's bodyguard. I had my doubts at first, but he proved me wrong in the end.

I don’t want Alex and Alize’s story to come to an end, I don’t want that at all!!! This book focuses on the visit to Alex’ family while the two are on break from school and starts from where book 2 ends off. It is full of dark, delicious scenes that will have you staying up all night and neglecting your family and friends. The smexy scenes are even hotter in this book then in the previous ones and I didn’t think it was possible but Raven Rage did it!!! The world building is so great that I am craving, desperately craving, the next books in this world. I want more of Alex and Alize and I do hope that in the future that this author circles back to this couple so that we get a glimpse of them in their next juncture of life.
This book is Action, suspense, dark and hard to put down once you get started. If you don't like dark sex you might just want to skip over it because the story is good. I would have given it five stars, but was disappointed in the ending.
I hope the next three books says more about Alize and Alexander. I have so many questions. Does Alexander become the King mastser? What does Alize get from her father and mother after their deaths(There has to be money) right? What is Alexander going to owe his enemy for helping him? Will it be his Empire or his Kingmaster position? Why did Ben not interfer with Alexander and his dad Griffin like he did last time? What is going to happen when Laurent's family finds out he is dead? What was Michel grooming his dauther Alize for?
So many questions and no answers :(.

Toxic Glory was well worth the wait! This was a fantastic and wonderfully written bully romance! It was sexy, dark and emotionally captivating! I would check the the trigger warnings before reading because not everyone will like some the things explored in the book! It is after all a dark romance! I would highly recommend this book and if you haven’t read the previous books in the series then may I suggest that you get to it asap!.

This is Book 3 in the Ruthless Society Series by this author. It is the conclusion to the dark, enemies to lovers romance between Alexander and Alize. Their thrilling journey ends with more drama, suspense, lies, betrayal, secrets, steam, conflict, and enough action, twists and turns to make it an intriguing read. Frustrating and bittersweet emotions abound. The secondary characters are engaging. A page turner with a happy for now ending. Reading Book 1, Ruthless Chaos, and Book 2, Blood Money, first is recommended.

Gosh, this book had me up and down and side to side with some diagonal and zig zag in there! The growth in Alize was STUNNING! She started as such a timid, scared, and lacking girl; became a strong, independent and a woman who knew her worth and what she deserves. Alex - started out as a douche - then got better- then back to being scum - and so on. In the end, he is just one of my favorite alpha holes who loves his woman and will do anything for her!
Toxic Glory was just like that! Toxic! I had a hard time with the story but was able to push through. The story picks up where we left off where Alize and Alexander go to his father's house.
Though they solved more of their problems - partially like adults- they still have a lot of secrets and barriers to work through.
But with a happy ending and a promise to see more in future books you can see the author put her love into the story!
Toxic Glory is the final book in the Ruthless Society series and it is jaw-dropping! Alex and Alize have had such a disturbing relationship. Their story has so many plot twists, I couldn't stop reading. The steam is off the charts, the suspense is enrapturing, and the HEA was explosive. This is one of my top 5 dark romance series. Absolutely loved it!.

Toxic Glory by Raven Rage is book three Ruthless Society Trilogy. This continues the story of Alize Moreux/Allie Clarke and Alexander Duke. Their story started in the first book 'Ruthless Chaos' and continues into the second book 'Blood Money'. So, you will need to read those to fully enjoy this one. This book does conclude their story. This was a really good Trilogy. I hope to read more from this author.
I love a good college bully romance. Throw in the interracial aspect and it’s perfect! Alex and Alize had so much push and pull. She was a female character who needed a push to find her voice, but I loved watching her come into herself along the way. Alex was the sexy, spoiled and defiant son. Together their love story was full of secrets, betrayal, lies, lust, and defiance. It’s them against the world or them apart…. Which will they choose
Gee willikers Alex and Alize's story is beyond being thrilling it's a down right adrenaline rush. I couldn't read their story fast enough to satisfy my curiosity I was flipping pages at lighting speed and stayed up until the wee hours to finish this book who needs sleep when you have a great book in your hands.

A heart-racing conclusion to the epic love story between Alexander and Alize. Fighting for their future has never been more dangerous as the threats lurking in the shadows prove themselves to be even more of a danger than they expected. Blindsided by the enemy they had never expected, can Alexander and Alize win the fight for their future?
Wow!!! What an explosive end to this series!! Raven has pulled out all the stops with this book! There is more twists and and turns and deciet mystery, action, lies more steam than you can imagine and that Alexander /Alize hotness that you crave. And then a HEA that will make you tear up and sigh with happiness!.

OH MY GOD! This series just gets better and better. Alexander and Alize are soooooooooo toxic & I loved every second of it. The rollercoaster in this series has been one of my favorites I have ever experienced in a series. It’s heart wrenching then spicy and romantic and then packed full of the gore I expect out of a dark romance. Absolutely fantastic!
This was such a great book! It was a perfect ending to the series! I was so glad to see how Alize and Alexander ended up together and they both have each other! I loved this whole series! Great work! I may have to go back and read them again soon.

Amazing ending for a great series. The relationship between Alexander and Alize grows deeper in this story. There were misunderstandings, twists, secrets, and plenty of emotions. The storyline held my attention and I loved the steam between the two characters. Well written, highly recommend the whole series.

WOW!! This book had me on the edge of my seat and I didn't want to put it down. It gave me all the feels! Things are revealed. There's suspense, steam and so much more! Alexander and Alize can be so toxic together, but also fit together so perfectly. What a fantastic conclusion!!
I loved reading this! It’s a bully romance full of spice, emotion and leaving me wanting another book! Please read the trigger warnings before diving into this book. There are a few things that might not be for everyone. This is well worth it and I highly recommend it!
