Sorry but this was so boring, I DNF at 20% as it’s so poorly written. The prose is clunky and meandering. We have pages and pages where nothing happens and we don’t even get to know the characters any better.

The dialogue is unreal. The characterisation is non-existent and the premise absurd. Sorry, but I do not understand the 4/5 star reviews - even the sex scenes are unemotional and tedious. Not my cup of tea, but clearly some readers like it.

Sorry but I just can't. I the writing and editing is atrocious. Dire. Sad because the blurb sounds right up my street. I've read the 4&5 star reviews and honestly, I'm questioning if I've somehow got a knock off version written by a particularly amorous 10 year old. But that is doing a disservice to 10 year olds the world over. This book annoyed me from the very beginning - why are the chapters called scenes?! And sadly went downhill from there.

This is the story of Liam Knight and Sophia Key. Liam is a business consultant who use his personal assistants, well personally! He has a type, and goes through them quickly as they always seem to break one of his three rules. He comes off as dark, and cold. Sophia is from Texas and trying to make it in New York. She is on her way to a job interview when she sees Nathan, a guy she went out on one date with and wants to avoid at all costs. She ends up running into an interview session where Liam is looking for his next assistant. Falling into Liam’s arms, there is an instant attraction between the two. He wants her – in all ways! This is all out of Sophia’s comfort zone, but Liam who is good at reading people, knows what he has to do to get her to sign his contract. When the first client turns out to be none other than Nathan and his father, Sophia will do anything to make sure that Liam’s dreams are reached.

Both Sophia and Liam are keeping secrets from each other. Sophia is slowly but surely breaking down the ice around Liam’s heart. When Nathan starts playing dirty, and makes trouble for Liam, will Sophia be able to leave Liam? Deception, secrets, lies, and blackmail are plenty, but so is the passion, chemistry, understanding and breaking all the rules! This is the 1st book I have read from this author and I cannot wait to read more.

"Into the office Miss Key!" - A Dom/Sub relationship in the office (and out).
I enjoyed the story, it is hot & steamy but at the same time the plot has interesting twists.
The characters were nicely developed.
The reason i didn't give 5 stars is that a couple of things were OTT in my opinion (Don't want to give spoilers) and also it annoyed me a little the continuous comparisons the MMC did for half of the book regarding previous subs.
However, i really liked it and i will read more from the author. Unfortunately the previous book i read didn't click for me, so i am glad i read this one and i will read more from Lena Stone.

A Dark Billionaire is the story of Sophia and Liam. Sophia is trying to make it to an interview when she runs into her nightmare of a date from the previous night. To try to avoid him she ends up in one of the fanciest hotels in town. There also happens to be a group interview there that she crashes. His secretary tries to throw her out, but he wants to see if she can fill his needs. He decided to get her a chance. However, she didn’t really know what she signed up for. Things turn hilarious as details are finalized. Then there are the emotions and ups and downs which make this a story you won’t want to put down. I can’t wait to see what happens next. 😊❤️

This is the 1st book in this series. I am beginning to be a big fan of Lana's books.
This was a dark romance, Dom/Submissive, Work Place Romance and BDSM.

Liam is a very successful businessman and is known for his relationships. He gets what he wants and right now he wants Sophia.
OH Sophia I loved her character. She was a fiery character and funny too. She is try to avoid someone and ends up going to the wrong interview. This is where there relationship starts.
When Liam saw Sophia, he knew she was going to be his next submissive.
Their chemistry was fantastic and their relationship was just as brilliant.
There was suspense drama, emotions, banter and steam.

Are you craving some heat in the romance department? If your answer is duh of course then I would read this book. Sophia and Liam are going to add the right amount of everything you are craving and possibly a little more. I have recently found Lana as an author, and I can say firsthand that she writes some of the BEST books ever. They have some bdsm scenes that are mild but will make your toes curl and your body quiver with excitement. So, if that is your jam then you need this book in your life for sure.

This is book 1 in Stone's The Billionaires of New York series. A good start to a new series. Our main characters are Liam Knight and Sophia Key. This is an office romance read with some BDSM elements. An instant attraction between the two where Liam is interviewing for his new assistant and Sophia falls into his arms. Lies and blackmail are balanced out with romance and steamy passion in this read. Definitely looking forward to more!

Sophia puts Liam's rules to the test when he starts his games. He has his rules, and she has hers but as these two navigate around each other will their hearts become forfeit in is games. Who will win and will it lead them down the road to a happily ever after. This office romance kept me glued to the pages from start to finish!.

A Dark Billionaire : Into the office

Enjoyed the book but it was a very slow read it was more focused on the Dom and Sub relationship and did drag on a bit. It picked up towards the end. Could have been a shorter read. Lana has a great writing style which kept me reading the book. Looking forward to reading more of her books

Interesting

This is a fairly good Romantic story with good characters and an interesting storyline, it can be slow at times and a bit boring but overall not a bad read. Sophia Key a young country texan girl travels to New York to try to make a go of it in the big city and somehow ends up falling into the arms of billionaire Liam Knight and their unconventional love story begins.

Poorly written, many many issues with grammatical and writing errors (seriously, paragraphs and sentences that don't make sense because they're clearly mid-edit.) If all you're looking for is a titillating bdsm read then go for it. If you want a good story too, try a different author.

Watch out for what you're getting into. Liam was totally cool with being cold and ruthless because that's just how he rolled. Sophia was the opposite - kind, understanding, and full of heart. These two ended up in a crazy situation together.

Das Cover finde ich sehr gelungen. Die Spiegelung der Skyline und der in dem Herrn in Anzug schaut mega aus.
Die Story selber hat es in sich. Sie ist also nichts für zartbesaitete. Aber wer es gerne härter mag, der ist hier genau richtig.
Sophia mit ihrer Tollpatschigkeit ist mir sofort sympathisch. Sie ist hart im nehmen und gibt nicht so schnell auf. Durch ihr Aussehen wird sie von den Männern immer unterschätzt. Auch Liam, der smarte Business-Berater und Dom tut dies am Anfang. Er wird aber schnell eines besseren belehrt und was ihn noch mehr irritiert, Sophia berührt ihn wie keine vor ihr.
Lasst euch von diesem heißen, aber auch sehr bewegenden Buch in den Bann ziehen und taucht ab in eine Welt aus Dominanz und Unterwerfung. Aber auch wenn es nicht gewollt ist, die Liebe hat ihre Finger im Spiel. Auch das gegenseitige unumstößliche Vertrauen zwischen den beiden Protagonisten ist ein wichtiger Part in diesem genialen Roman.

Fazit:
Eine sehr gelungenen Handlung mit vielen erotischen Elementen aber auch ernsten Themen.«

Dieses mal geht es Um Liam und Sophia die von Anfang bis zum ende sehr gut Zusammen passen.


Die Beiden sind soo genial hach ich liebe sie.😍


Der Schreibstiel der Autorin fesselt mich jedes mal und ich verliere mich Hoffnungslos im Buch.


Es ist spannend, fesselnd, absolut Mitreissend und sehr Heiss.


Ich mag das spiel aus Dominanz und Unterwerfung. Den die Beiden haben es echt in sich.

Loved this book.
Very much fifty shades. Read this in 1 day as it kept me gripped until the end.
