He lost her 100 years ago...will fate rip them apart again?

Continuing the story of past life regression therapist Sophia Strand, this book also chronicles the dramatic tale of Sophia’s client Benjamin. When Benjamin met Dalia a century before in a traveling circus, it was love at first sight.

But Benjamin was forbidden to touch Dalia, who was being forced to marry another. The ill-fated lovers found it impossible to stay away from one another all those years ago, resulting in tragedy.

Now, 100 years later, the couple has a chance to rewrite the past. But their reunion is tumultuous. Will they lose one another a second time?

Bestselling author Julie Bawden-Davis loves writing page-turning suspenseful books often spiced with romance, garden books that turn any brown thumb green, and spiritual books meant to enlighten and inspire.

Julie began penning stories at the age of 5, when she wrote sweet, little romance books for her grandma. From there, she graduated to sneaking to a neighbor’s house to watch “Dark Shadows” (because her parents thought it was too scary for her). Then, in her teens, she raced home from school, dragging her younger sister behind her, to become immersed in the world of “General Hospital.”

Julie lives in Southern California, where she enjoys sunny, blue skies most days and year-round gardening. She gains inspiration by being surrounded by plants when she writes.

Ms. Bawden-Davis, your foray into paranormal (extrasensory) continues...

To amaze me!
As I started reading this second book in the series, I found I needed to return to "The Beginning", not because I didn't remember, but simply to be honest when I wrote this review. "The Beginning", blew me away. For the beginning of a new genre of this author I felt she had been there all along, or it was simply a calling she could not ignore. I certainly feel I am correct. This is no longer a foray, it is not going into a new or uncertain area of writing. Ms. Bawden-Davis has proven to me this is definitely a positive direction of her writing. I was completely captivated by Sophia and her abilities, as well as her ability to help a patient or client if you will, find his way in the present time.
Yet, while I am excited for Sophia next patient she works with, I was also entranced by the continuation of Sophia's story woven so beautifully into this book that centers around Sophia helping Benjamin.
Sophia's story moves me greatly, she has had a tremendous life, that is not without extreme sacrifice earlier in her life. However, she moves through it with beautiful grace and love. Love for her child, her clients, and family.
There is so much more Sophia's story has to bring to us through Ms. Bawden-Davis' writing. Frankly, it is safe to say, Congratulations, Ms. Bawden-Davis, this is not a right turn or foray into the unknown genre of paranormal/extrasensory, it is simply writing you were called to do...
Perhaps, in a previous life you wrote this genre...

Stunning!
The next book cannot come soon enough.
I am addicted!

In this book Sophia, our past life regression expert, is approached buy a young man calling himself ‘Benjamin’, he fears that his superiors in the forces might give him a hard time if they find out about his ‘treatment’. Benjamin has visions of his current girlfriend and him in a circus, but the time seems like this happened years ago. Well it turns out that Benjamin and said girlfriend are soul mates and have been together in another lifetime. Their relationship, however, was then torpedoed by her father and her trapeze partner, who even killed her in an ‘accident’.
While Sophie does everything possible to help Benjamin, she also learns to regress more and she herself receives more and more information about her own past lives with her former husband Phillip, who really kept his promise to always stay near her and their son Teddy.
Grab the book and find out how Benjamin can save his soulmate from her vengeful ex in their current lives, I loved reading this story!

I received an ARC for posting my honest review.

This is the second book in the Past Life Prism series. I recommend that you around the first book before starting this one since it is Sophia's back story, from her childhood to her relationship with Phillip and how she came to be a past life regression therapist. This subject has always been an interest for me. Not only does Sophia help her patient get to the bottom of what is going on in their relationship but with each person she helps it unlocks more memories of past lives with her soulmate Phillip. Truly fascinating book, I couldn’t put it down and am looking to more books in the series. I received a copy of this book from the author and this is my honest review.

Fantastic second edition in a groundbreaking series

Julie Bawden-Davis has done it again; crafted a page turner while entertaining through a fascinating theory of past lives affecting our current life. The premise is that of a therapist using past life regression to help her patients understand why they can't keep themselves from unsettling behaviors and thoughts through the exploration of lives lived before. Add in a good balance of suspense and romance - and you have a story you just can't put down. Five stars all the way, go get book one and read in order if at all possible.

'Suspended Enforcement' was a fascinating novella. The enthralling plot was focused on using past life regression therapy to hone in on therapist Sophia Strand's clients' past lives as well as her own and how they are being integrated into their present-day lives. The work had such a mystique about it. I simply found the narrative mesmerizing.

Wow! Great read! The story just gets better and better. The story gets more involved with Benjamin and Dalia’s past lives which is very intense. Sophie also learns about her past lives with Phillip. This book is hard to put down. I can’t wait to see what is in store for Sophie and her next patient Lorraine.
