You don’t have to be educated or connected to be wealthy How do wealthy people do it? Are they geniuses? Lucky? We tend to think something special must be going on because it looks like magic. But nothing could be further from the truth. Wealthy people have simply adopted six key, yet ordinary, habits … and they do them extraordinarily well. Candy Valentino opened her first brick-and-mortar store at 19―no college, no connections, no money―and built it into a seven-figure business before most of her friends graduated college. Over two decades of success as a serial entrepreneur and real estate investor, she has labored relentlessly to crack the code of the super-wealthy, and in doing so, has unearthed six simple habits that directly contribute to those who become part of the self-made millionaire class. In Wealth Habits, Valentino reveals all six habits, and shows you how you can put them to work for you : “Think and get rich” will only get you so far. It’s time to do and become wealthy … and set yourself up for a lifetime of true financial freedom.
Maybe I judged the book by cover and had too high of expectations for this book. If your looking for an intro to personal finance this isn’t the book. This book would be great for someone looking to start a business. The main premise is if you want to be wealthy you need to start a business, and the rest of the book focuses around that. I would have expected more of a discussion around personal finance and not business finance.

Some good (and hopefully sound) advice for business owners. But I didn't like the casual style of writing and the lack of conciseness. Finally just skimmed the rest to move on. I appreciate the book for getting me thinking about money in a new way.
If you do not know where to start, this is the book for you. As a person who knows I have to learn the ins and outs of certain subjects in order to build financial wealth I have no clue what to search for. Candy Valentino put together a great overview of the entire picture. This is a book that I will keep coming back to as I am further in my journey. She talks about different types of investments, licenses, insurance, real estate and more! I can revisit certain chapters to further my knowledge on the subject. If you already know about investing, licenses, and insurance than this book won't be much help. It is definitely beginner friendly.
Excellent resource for financial literacy and wealth building. The author broke down terms and practices in ways that you could take action from. As a cognitive coach, I also really enjoyed the mindset work and exercises in the book. Thank you!
I enjoyed this book. Though I consider myself pretty well-versed in financial strategy and business, there were many good reminders and tips to learn from.
Loved this book! I learned so much and will be keeping it close to reference back to you. A fantastic book if you currently own or are thinking about starting a business!
This book was written in a very clear way and it was a page turner. Part story teller part advisor. It is something I think everyone should read to see how our money can work better for us and there are also some life lesson tips on there as well.
