She was the girl I was never meant to have. The daughter of my father's fiercest rival, on and off the track. And he proved just how far he was willing to go to keep us apart the summer I broke her heart.
Five years later, we couldn't resist the pull between us any longer. For one moment, my world was perfect. Driving for Alex's dad and in contention for the series championship. And Alex was mine, body and soul.
I held it all in my hands. The dreams I'd given up on when I lied to protect the people I loved. Racing. Alex. Family.
In the blink of an eye, it spun out of control, breaking us apart. The world came crashing down around us, the trust we built torn apart by secrets from my past.
How do we overcome the threats and obstacles in our path and find our way back to each other? Can we? Or have we run our last race?
Ariana can be found getting her Zen on while doing yoga, going for a run, or having a bourbon on Saturday nights while plotting the lives of her characters as they whisper and sometimes yell in her ear.
She lives her own Happily Ever After with her amazing husband, who shares her love of racing, comic books, and Firefly, along with her two spirited also amazing boys who love reading books under a blanket just as much as she does!
Alex and Luc are back and the evil forces of the world are trying to tear them apart! As you can tell from the cover, this book is spicy, so don’t read it where the ac isn’t working!
This duet has had me yelling at Ariana, panicking because I think I know who’s causing issues (and I love said person, oh I was wrong btw) and crying happy tears for Alex and Luc! Seriously even if you don’t like racing this book is definitely a must read from me and I’m sad I waited so long to finish the duet!
This is the conclusion to Luc and Alex’s story. I feel like the majority of the time this book I just wanted to shake Luc and tell him “just tell her already!”
There’s so much jam packed into this book and I am very curious about Res having all these connections. I feel like there is way more to his story than just a sponsor to the team. His connections run deep.
Overall, I’m very happy to see Alex and Luc find their happily ever after!
