The art is exceptional, and that's the bulk of the rating. Trying to rehabilitate Theseus for kids as "a man of many faults, but..." and saying oh he thought Ariadne would betray him/she died on the island, whoops, sure is a way to paint over his betrayal of the woman who saved his life. Did he ever forget THAT terrible lesson?
