Ben Faulks is an actor and writer from Cornwall, best known for his role as Mr Bloom in the CBeebies children's television show Mr Bloom's Nursery. He was nominated for a BAFTA award for best Children's Television Presenter in 2011 and the show won an RTS North And West award for best children's programme in 2011. He lives in Heptonstall, Yorkshire.

I really liked the idea behind this book and I thought that the story was really good

I read the book with my five year old daughter and she really enjoyed it. She does love spending time with her grandad and they do an awful lot together, gardening, nature walks, looking at the stars and planets and general play

The story was well written and had a good flow to it, it was easy to read and follow

The illustrations were great and really brought the story to life too

It is 5 stars from me for this one, very highly recommended and it is a lovely book

A look at all the amazing things Grandpas are. Sweet story that shares the love involved between grandfathers and their grandchildren. I appreciate how Faulks shares all the possibilities then brings it to the fact that grandpas are special and don't have to have amazing careers. They simply are there for their grandchildren and shower them with love.

Sweet exploration of the wonderful and weirdness of granddads and all that makes them great. Popcorn powered wings is one invention I wish my granddad had thought of. Sumptuous illustrations accompany rhyming verse.

This was a very nice book. Each child has a grandpa who is good at something different. I enjoyed the simple, sweet illustrations and the love the grandpas had for their grandchildren.

Emma's favorite book. She called it the Papa book. Loved pointing to all of the grandpas and wanted me to read it all the time.
