Review-
Great story, didn’t feel skipped around. The connection between the characters, main ones and secondary ones was great. Told in both POVs. HFN ending with a 5 year later look but also leads with a mini chapter for the possible next story.
10 years these two have been secretly in love with the other but secrets and lust came between them. Then 6 years ago Jared would be seen with other women but never been intimate with them even when he left for the private island he share owned, a secret private island for the BDSM lifestyle. Every time Jared and Kaylene would spend the night together Jared would open his mouth, turn their night into something he wants to forget. Since he can’t see letting Kaylene know about his lifestyle, he sees and innocent women he can’t ‘dirty’. But since her ‘kidnapping’ Jared and Kaylene’s life will change, will it be for the better or for the worse?

Jared and Kaylene have had the longest buildup to a book in the history of a series…we’ve been playing will they/won’t they since book 1 and it’s been a constant theme throughout.
This book doesn’t disappoint and we actually get more than bargained for and learn a lot more about Jared (other than he’s a workaholic) here, as well as an awful lot more about Kaylene.
Lots of emotion and romance, some (though not as much as perhaps advised) BDSM (if this ain’t your thing please don’t let it put you off there is very very little detail in here you would find off putting - if it’s what is making you buy this book, be prepared to be disappointed)
I liked how Jared had set up Kaylene with the auction and adored how his friend totally set him up and took her away to teach him a lesson. I liked how strong she was and didn’t put up with his nonsense, calling out his bad behaviour and attitudes.
Overall I enjoyed this book and thought it concluded the series nicely with a nice lead into the new spin off series. I do feel though that much like the last book the author threw an awful lots of segues in here with potential plot lines spinning off in droves, and whilst they were all wrapped up in the story, it all happened so quickly it’s like they weren’t given space to develop properly. Like the author had so many ideas in her head she just needed to write them down rather than picking a few and making the most of them. This was somewhat distracting and there were a few damp squib conclusions

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! This is book is part of the Nova Satellite Security series why just read one when you can start at the beginning and keep reading through the series it won’t be a waste of time. Okay these two are a hot mess ten years they have been in love with each other and yet he can’t acknowledge what they feel for each other …okay he can but he has issues with the way his parents were and do not want to end up like them. Kaylene is smart, great at her job, in love with her boss for ten years now and works as his assistant. Jared is the sexy as all get out boss, have loved her since day one, each time she tempts him of course he turns her down to his issues but the chemistry is intense and the magnetic pull can’t be ignored with each year that pass fate throws another obstacle forcing them to be together but will they get the hint and can they have happiness?

A charity auction sets the stage for their final chance. The man who bought her has secrets and plans. For Kaylene, she feels disappointment more than anything. She has hung on to a dream way to long. Jared quickly realizes that he must go after her or never find peace. Their story has a few surprises, but they find their way together. I enjoyed the book

Kaylene has been waiting for her sporadic relationship with Jared to be on again before she finally moves on. He is emotionally closed off. Her last try is to participate in an auction with the hopes he will bid and win her. Apparently not to be when she finds herself on a private island. When his secret is exposed and his reputation on the line, he breaks down his walls. Lots of intrigue to find out who is out to destroy him. Will she win her hero this time? Nicely written and an enjoyable read.

🔥🔥🔥Scorching hot!
We finally get Jared and Kaylene's story!!! Hmmmm who will win the pot that everyone had bet on when they might finally get together? There is tons of heat, surprises, intrigue, A nutcase or two, alpha males galore, and equally amazing women. I've loved this series from the start, and this wonderful read is an amazing addition to the series. Get ready for one crazy rollercoaster, and have fun getting to know a few new characters who might appear in a future spinoff series.

This is the first book I have read in the Nova Satellite Security Series even though it is the 6th book published. I mention that so you will know that if you haven't read any of the others, you can still enjoy Jaren and Kaylene's story which is full of twists, turns, drama and plenty of hot chemistry between these two. I loved the story, characters and writing and will be going back and reading the complete series starting with Book 1, Pursuing Phoenix.

This was an excellent book that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The action and love scenes make you feel like you are there in person. Jared and Kaylene have been dancing around each other for years. But when an auction takes an unexpected turn, that's when the tables turn and of course a blind date for Kaylene turns dangerous. HEA. This is a fast paced read and you need to be paying attention as there is lots going on. The author always packs multiple story lines into the plot. I feel the book could have been twice as long with everything that happened and some things were just too fast.
Having said that is a fun speedy frolick of a read and a bit of escapism.

This is it! The one I have been waiting for! All bets are off when it comes to Jarrod and Kaylene. They have danced around each other for years. But it all comes down to one night. This book I have been waiting for throughout the entire pursuing series and wow yes please and thank you for the story. Jared and Kaylene's story just adds to the fabulous world. The intricate details that are wove throughout the series which are then referred to, the chemistry, the strength and the wonderful to and from just makes this absolutely amazing!! Baxter really hit this one out the park and then some.

There story is an off and on romance that has lasted 10 years. A charity auction sets the stage for their final chance. Signing up an a dating app, she meets Ben and he is not what he seems. The drama level is high as someone from Jared's past comes after him, Kaylene learns secrets from her dying mother and Ben.

This story has been a long time coming with everyone waiting for Jared and Kaylene to get it together for the HEA. The author didn't disappoint with a story that has a little of everything, spice, revenge, lust, love danger, and most of all a well-written and planned story with a HEA. Highly recommend this author and all her series to date

Kaylene and Jared love each other but don't communicate properly which leads to both of them getting deadly stalkers. When they marry to make Kaylene's adoptive mother happy, it finally allows them to talk honestly. After much damage, both of their stalkers are dealt with.

This is Jared and Kaylene's story of an off and on romance for the last ten years. There is suspense, drama, danger, a villain, twists, turns, and romance. I enjoyed reading. Disappointing
Very disappointing to find there was scarcely any BDSM in this read cost 1☆. The characters and story were good. It would have been great if the author had mentioned the fact it wasn't a first in series at the time of making the ARC available.

Family
I binged this entire series in about three days and each one got better and better. The three brothers along with some friends habe all found their one true love some came with a crazy ex or just some crazy person. They found love and happiness all while becoming one big happy family.

Yes! They finally made it Jared and Kaylene got there story. And a wonderful second chance love story it was. Linzi saved the best for last. I laughed, cried and swooned in this amazing hot alpha /dom book.
