Harbinger of Vengeance

Rate this book
Freedom comes at a cost... and it's time to pay.

Hirrus Callabryn has gotten his revenge against the players who unleashed the Merciless Plague and killed his wife. He's happy to wait for the weekly reset to rejoin his wife in their quiet, small town life.

But he isn't the only freed NPC. Far to the west, an unscrupulous evil builds an army of disillusioned NPCs, and Hirrus is tasked to stop it... or else face deletion.

Aided by the boisterous adventurer, Alric, Hirrus must find and stop the manipulator before it's too late.

But one doesn't just end a massive player guild without making a few enemies, and they are out for a revenge of their own. Will Hirrus be able to contain the threat before word of what he is spreads, or will this be his last reset?

Still so weird I'm reviewing my own book, but here we go!

As a continuation of the last, we're gonna go through the 'who is this book for' list. If you like OP MCs who solve their problems with violence and enjoy over 100 instances of the f-word in a book where the main character physically can't curse, this one's for you.

If you want to see John Wick try to recreate the Witcher, but as an unstoppable ball of anger with a sword and a battleaxe? This one's also for you.

Love Batman and Spiderman, two OP superheroes who are allowed to have flaws and mess up because they're human and don't always have all the information available to them? Read this book.

But if you want some superhuman genius or a perfect specimen of self-insert male machismo? Not for you.

This book has more blue magic, more stealing weapons and armor from player characters, more references. It takes a bit closer of a look AI and humanity, and what it means to be a man.

I hope you love it.
