STORY:
So this story went by pretty quickly as it’s a quick read. It was dark, but not hardcore dark. May still have triggers for some readers. Cane has a past that has made him the way he is. I like the way he became possessive over Parker. Even claiming her before she even knew he wanted her. I like the story as I was invested in what I was reading. I felt though that this could have been a longer length book. This would fall in the category of insta like and lust for me.
ENJOYMENT / CHEMISTRY:
Cane is a DOM, and he wants Parker to submit to him. Parker is spicy at first but took her....mmmm, I don’t know, 5.2 seconds to call Cane master haha. Cane is just that addictive. I like their chemistry and Cane’s possessiveness and the way he treated Parker’s daughter made him more sexy. I am not an expert on Dom/sub but it was ok nothing too hardcore.
SECONDARY CHARACTERS
I have not read the previous books as this is book 9 and some characters already have their stories. It wasn’t hard to follow and did not feel lost while reading this story even with the names of the other bikers.
Overall, a nice quick and dark MC romance. I like the book and found the characters likable as well.

Cane is a Dom and has had his eyes on the new dancer at the strip club. He can tell just by looking at her that she would make a good sub. He knows she has a daughter too and is also willing to take her on as his own child. After the way he was raised it's not a surprise that he is a Dom but he refuses to be like his dad. Bear and Momma B raised him after he ran away from home at the age of 8.
Parker has had a rough time in life. After her parents died her brother took on raising her. All she wanted was to go to college and be something. Instead she is making good money at the club and should be able to afford to take care of herself and her daughter really well but instead they live in a one bedroom and barely enough to eat. Not even a TV much less a car. Her brother takes almost all of what she makes.
When Cane makes his intentions to Parker she thinks he is crazy at first but after he shows her what he is like with her and her daughter she lets him in.
Don't think her brother just walks away... no he has more plans for her. So does the man who got her pregnant.

3½ stars ... I like the storyline in general. The D/s part was a little prematurely done...I mean, it's just weird that she's so agreeable to calling him Master after not even 24 hours. Will definitely be reading more from this new-to-me author.

These books just keep getting better and better! I love Cane and his domineering ways. Parker and Cane together are explosive. Cane wants to fight Parker’s battles for her but she is a strong and independent woman that is raising her daughter, Piper. I just fell in love with little Piper!! When Parker’s brother starts/continues to cause trouble for DRMC and Parker Cane has had enough but will he be able to protect Parker from her brother? Fast paced and action packed and I couldn’t get enough. Bring on the next installment!!

I loved Cane’s story and my heart broke for him as a kid and then for Parker. Little Piper certainly has sass and I loved it. Poor Victoria, I hope she gets what she is wishing for.

This is the 9th book in the series and can be read as a stand-alone. This quick read follows Cane and Parker. When Cane saw Parker for the first time, he claimed her as his. He has been watching and waiting for the best time to make her his but now that her daughter has been taken, he is going to step in and help. Can he keep both Parker and Piper safe? Fast-paced MC read with loads of drama and intense chemistry and emotion. I loved it!.

Canes Dominance is not for the faint of heart. The story starts out full speed. At Parker's apartment, shots were fired, the babysitter is dead and Parker's daughter, Piper, is missing. Parker is a single mom who is doing whatever she has to in order to support her two year old daughter. She is currently a dancer at Dolly's Playhouse. Cane is a member of the MC that Parker dreams about. The only good thing in her life is Piper and she doesn't have time to draw someone into her life.
Cane has been watching over Parker since she arrived. He claimed her almost as soon as he saw her but stayed in the distance so he didn't scare her. She is all he wants and thinks about.
Parker's brother, Chigger has made Parker's life a living heck. He takes her money, forcing her to live in a rundown apartment and scrambling to provide the necessities for Piper. He is the one who caused the violence at her apartment and took Piper.
Chigger is the leader of group of bad men. He has controlled Parker since they were younger and has brought a lot of bad into her life. She hates him and fears him because she knows his threats are not hollow. When the guys from Devil's Riot storm in to get Parker and Piper, Chigger tells them they are at war.
When there are threats to the women's and children of Devil's Riot, they fight back fiercely. Threats have been made to Parker, Piper and Harlow. The way Cane protects Parker and Piper is intense. He is able to show his sweet side with Parker, allowing her to be emotional and just comforting her. The way Cane connects to Piper as a daddy gives all the feels and shows his human side.
Cane's Dominance by E.C. Land involves dark people doing bad things but it also is about a group of brothers and the people they love and protect. The trigger warnings should be taken seriously. Nothing about this is taken lightly in the story. The Devil's Riot guys and family are broken people but they are responsible to those around them. They will do whatever they need to do for them.
The book does end somewhat happily but with a lot of unanswered questions. It is helpful to have read the series as there are a lot of people and relationships to understand. I can't wait to see where the story goes.

A great story

This was a great story, but it's getting a little difficult to follow with all of the different characters from all of the different series intertwined. For example, there were two characters that were briefly mentioned in this story that were a part of a previous story, but there wasn't any reminders to what happened in their situation. Then there's the different chapters of this MC, the other MC's that the characters have connections with, a new chapter of this MC is getting ready to be released (which the characters have already been mentioned in this series), etc..., and it's impossible to keep up. If these were the only series that was being read, it would still be a struggle to keep them all straight, but for someone like me who reads 5-7 books a week, it's impossible to remember what happened over a month ago, and which series it was in.
I know that it seems like I'm complaining, and I guess I am to an extent. I have always enjoyed this author's work, and I still do. It's not that the stories are bad, quite the opposite, and I do enjoy reading about the characters that I've come to know. I have to say that the stories have seemed to suffer over the last year or so. I don't know if it's the releases coming sooner, trying to intertwine all of the different characters and series, or what, but these books don't have the same depth or length that the one's from the first DRMC series had, and I truly miss that. Maybe I am the only one who feels this way, but I felt like it needed to be said.
I would have loved to seen a full story about Cane and his "lil' mama & baby girl," as I'm sure it would have been awesome. Since that didn't happen, maybe we'll get to see more of them in the future.
I would recommend this book, series, and author.

This exciting action packed suspense filled MC romance story will have you on the edge of your seat and the characters will captivate you.Cane has wanted Parker for his from the first time he laid eyes on her.She's a single mother who's dancing at the club owned strip club but Cane made sure someone else collects her money after her dances and that she doesn't do lap dances or anything that lets anyone touch her.As she's going to the dressing room her boss tells her to come with her Parker is scared she did something wrong she has to have this job to take care of her daughter an pay her brother the money he takes almost every penny she makes.She hears something an rushes out in her getting an robe kicking off her shoes she runs to a house she knows everyone will not notice her grabs clothes an runs to her brothers house she grabs her daughter an starts arguing with her brother when in comes Cane,Stone and several of the brothers from Devils Riot MC.There is action,danger,suspense and even finding a man who would die for her an her daughter.There are so many twists an turns to this story you will be riveted until the very last page an leave you begging for more.I love the way this amazing author brings the characters to life before your eyes an you can feel their emotions an their pain.I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talented author.

I love the DRMC men. They are all alpha and let’s people know not to mess with them, but with the women they care for, the are taken to their knees.
Cane is a patched member of the MC and has been there since he was eight. His Uncle Stoney took him in after some things happened to him when he was younger. Parker is a single non working at Dolly’s Playhouse to take care of her daughter. Practically everything she makes goes to her brother, so anything she has left over goes towards her daughter, Piper. Cane has wanted Parker since he laid eyes on her, and he was waiting, but the time for waiting is over.Parker and Cane are a perfect fit for each other, and Piper is so adorable. They have had a connection with each other and their chemistry is off the charts hot. This is action packed and has some twists and more information about the traffickers that have been causing problems for the MCs. I can’t wait to see what happens next. I love how EC is interconnecting the MCs with each other. The characters and storylines are fantastic and it is always great seeing or hearing about familiar faces and names.

When Cane first saw Parker he knew she was his but he was going to take his time before claiming her, until her brother threatened her and her daughter. After that things move at lightning speed as he claims her as his ol' lady takes them both under his care.
I liked these two together and I LOVED how Cane took special care of Parker's daughter. I did feel the demand to call him master from their first intimate moments was rushed, especially given her lack of experience but otherwise enjoyed their play.
This book has all the elements you want in a quick MC read and as always I wish for more time. The author leaves us with tantalizing unfinished bits to revealed later in the series.

Cane experienced what no child should ever go through at the hands of his father, he was saved by his uncle Stoney and kept around the MC that would become his real family. The day Parker (Tink) got a job as a dancer at Dollys Playhouse was a chance for a new start for her and her daughter Piper, only her abusive brother takes most of her earnings. When Parkers daughter gets taken its Cane who steps in to the rescue, Cane had been mesmerized by Parker since the first time he watched her dance, now shes at risk with her daughter missing, hes not going to take no for an answer when he goes to claim her. Will Parker submit to Canes dominating nature? What twists and surprises do the Devils Riots MC have in store when they find out whose in town? This is well written with a great story line, this can be read stand alone but the story is a continuation through out the series. With action, suspense, desires, betrayal, love, trust and more!

Cane is a member of Devil's Riot M/C and nephew of Stoney and cousin to Horse...he has been with his uncle since he ran from his abusive father when he was eight...now he has been watching a young dancer hired for one of the M/C's strip clubs, Dolly's Playhouse. This is Cane's story and his quiet methodical pursuit of Parker. It comes to light that he has been waiting and watching Parker since she came to work for the club at Dolly's. The opportunity arises for him to step in and protect Parker and her daughter when her brother goes off the rails. I liked Cane's quiet determination and Parker came off as a genuine person. I always want more with the books in these series, sometimes questions are answered but other times things are glossed over - like what happened to Cane when he was a kid? There is a strong theme of D/s in this book but again its glossed over and a bit rushed. D/s requires trust in your partner and with Parker's history I think more than one night would be required to get there. The overall plot and storyline is good, it has a ton of action and moves quickly, it has characters from other books that I want to see what happens with them and hopefully we will get more with these two.

Cane’s Dominance
I have to say I love this series but was slightly disappointed with Book 9.
Land continues the story line that begins with book one beautifully, introduces the villains in a sensible way but leaves the reader hanging wondering if maybe half the book didn’t download. Even the epilogue from Parker’s perspective seems rushed. (Note: land does say questions will be answered in the next book due out in about a month)
I was excited when Cane Dom persona was introduced but it didn’t go near far enough. Parker’s immediate submission while literally leaving a dominating brother could have been expanded on ... or at the very least made a little more believable.
If you consider this a “cliff notes” book to the love that grows between Cane and Parker then I would offer 5 stars. But the rushed, storyline in my opinion warrants much less.
Thant being said I will still read the series because Land has a way of making you fall in love with each character. Parker is an example of this.

He goes about setting her rules for the club with the manager. The club and Cane have been watching her because they know she's in some kind of trouble. That trouble comes one night while she is at work. Cane is right on her heels when she goes to confront this threat, and take back her 18 month old daughter. Cane and the club are there for Parker and baby Piper. Cane puts his foot down, making Parker his ol lady. Parker finds herself falling in love with Cane. Piper, also loves her "daddy ". But this is just the beginning of a tough journey for the couple. Trouble comes to town. The club soon realizes that there is a lot more to this than they thought. This book ends with a happy ending, but readers will have to keep an opened mind.

Once again we are in the world of the Devil's Riot MC and you do need to read these books in order to get the full impact of the series as there is an underlying story throughout but they are so great why wouldn't you

This is the 9th book in this amazing series and is Cane and Parker’s journey. Parker is a single mom to a little girl who is 2-years old, and she will do whatever she has to in order to support them both, and she is currently a dancer at Dolly’s Playhouse. Cane’s is a member of the MC, and the attraction between him and Parker is sizzling. When Parkers brother continues to make her life hell, Cane is determined to protect her and Piper, but Parker is strong and independent and is more that capable of handling things herself, is Cane’s domineering side will let her. This is a well written story which this talented author has done an awesome job in weaving this story, which is fast paced, action packed, and with suspense, drama, danger, and love. I was totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend for all MC lovers.

Okay - This is the 9th book in the series Devil’s Riot MC. This story is intense and follows MacKenzie and Cane. Cane was smitten the first time he laid eyes in her. MacKenzie was a stripper and he watched her dance. He’d made it clear no one touched her and she wouldn’t give lap dances. He even had someone else pick up her money. One night, someone shot an killed her babysitter - Cane was desperate to not only protect her but make her his. They left to get her daughter from her brother’s house and as soon as she got there she grabbed her daughter out of one of the whores arms an charged into her brothers office yelling at him for killing the babysitter. He hit her and one of his soldier kicked her as she lie on the ground. Then Cane flew in with the Devils Riot and threatened him starting a war Cane between Devils Riot and her brother’s men.

Cane went to his uncle as a little boy to help him escape his father. His uncle was with the Devils Riot MC back then and took him in. The MC is his life and he would give anything for the MC. Parker's life has not always been easy and since her brother has changed so much it has gotten harder. Cane sees Parker in the strip club of the MC and is blown away, but he also notices that she needs time ... When the time finally comes, he shows her what he expects as her master. He may is dominant in the bedroom but outside of it he shows her and her daughter that he cares and that he will always protect them. This story get along really well with the previous and it's always great to read something about the other characters. As always, the book could have gone on forever. I'm looking forward to the next one

There was a lot I liked about this book. This is the ninth book in the Devils Riot MC: Originals by EC Land and each book a continuation the MC family story. Cane has an ugly, abusive childhood and when he runs to his uncle, a member of Devil's Riot MC, his abuser is dealt with and he is taken into the MC family. As an adult, he becomes a member of the MC and has a taste to dominate. He sees Parker for the first time and knows she is his, along with her 2 year old daughter Piper. Parker has had an equally abusive life from her brother and cant seem to break free from his abuse. The story is fast read, are all the Devil's Riot's books, has twists, turns, and a lot of steamy action. A great addition to the series.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. I have really enjoyed the men who make up the DRMC. They are protective, possessive, dominant and passionate about their women. This is the love story between Cane and Parker. She is a single mother of a young girl and a dancer at the club. She is also being manipulated by her brother. Cane decides that she will be his when he first sees her. Neither have had it easy in their lives. The chemistry between them is off the charts. When her world is turned upside down, Cane knows that he will do whatever it takes to make it right again. Their story is full of danger, drama, action, twists and turns, lust, love and family. I look forward to more stories in the DRMC world

I really enjoy this series, I just wish the books were longer, To me they are just the size of a novella not a full size book, hence even though I enjoy the stories I will rarely give over 3 stars as they are quick reads and some stories feel rushed where the readers are left wanting more.
Cane went through a traumatic childhood so he has grown up to know what he wants and how to get it, He is completely alpha, He sets eyes on Parker and without knowing her he has claimed her and his daughter as his. Parker has suffered some trauma at the hands of her brother and his friends and Cane vowed she will always be safe when she is with him.
This is a fast paced, action packed that will keep you reading this book in one sitting. Cannot wait to see if we get more of this couple.

Parker works at Dollys Playhouse to keep her two year old clothed and fed. From the moment Cane saw her he claimed her but kept his distance and when her brother took Piper from her babysitter, the Devils Riots were there to get her back, but it is not over and now Parker is in the sights of nefarious people and she is not alone.
Action filled, I would say insta love but in a way it is not as they both fell for each other before they got together, it was just Parker was in denial as she thought he would never go for someone like her, so gradual is probably a better word.

DRMC Originals are back with Cane and Parker's story. Cane sees Parker. Cane wants Parker! See how that works in the MC world? Well, he's backed off; but due to unforeseen circumstances---he steps in! Well, that opens a can of worms the MC wasn't expecting. However, Stoney and the guys have Cane's back---and Parker's as well. As always, you get juicy tidbits about future stories or at least characters that we've been wondering about from previous books. By the way, there's no "cliffhanger" per se---prepare yourself! Yes, Venom has a book coming next. So we need to see if any of the holes or questions are answered. Knowing E.C. Land, these questions will be answered followed by more questions. That's just the way of this MC world! Loved this book!!
