This one is the mushiest of the series.
The things are not easy for Will and Bristol.
This is a bit full of clichés, Will become too soft.

descriptiondescription

I loved Mia and the relationship she developed with Emerson, it's so sweet.
The mother thing, I thought it was too forced.
We see here more of the Hughes industries than in Finn's book.

descriptiondescription

Loved the relationship between the LeBlanc brothers.
It's an amazing evolution.
There's also a sneak peek for the next couple, don't know what the series is, but will be about Vivian Constantine and Sinclair LeBlanc.
And Sin's curiosity about the secrets between the Morelli's and Constantine's family probably make their book one of the last in Midnight Dynasty.

This was such a gratifying conclusion to Will & Bristol’s story. I was a bit skeptical going in but i ended up enjoying every minute of this. It was packed full of twists and turns and a lot of emotions.

Picking up from the cliffy in Extortion, we find Will Leblanc pooling his resources to locate the twins.

Becoming Bristol Anderson’s rock, we get a front row seat to Will’s transformation. From the guarded and aloof businessman in Blackmail emerges a loving protector, worthy of Bristol and her siblings.

This trilogy was a beautifully written depiction of growth and strength amid adversity.

Bristol and Will’s story was beautiful and so wonderfully written. This couple has been through so much, separately and together, but nothing is more profound than the obstacles they overcome together.
Ben and Mia, in their young lives, have endured more than most adults, but heart breaks for them at times.
I’m sad this couple’s journey has finished, although I’m sure they will make appearances in other Midnight Dynasty books.
Amelia Wilde has given us an awesome and amazing story for this couple.

Amelia Wilde concludes Will LeBlanc and Bristol Anderson's emotional story in Coercion as they are confronted with the disappearance and kidnapping of the twins—Mia and Ben, the loose ends and knots of Will's past, and the realization of his love not only for Bristol and her siblings but also his brothers: Sinclair and Emerson. The author has truly crafted a beautiful and romantic tale of love and forgiveness. At it's core, Will and Bristol's story is one of unconditional love and having the courage to move on from past hurts and towards the future. Will has experienced tremendous growth in his ability to show love and affection to those he cares about. This is especially apparent in his interactions with Bristol—the constant teasing, flirting, and declaration of love for her was completely new for the both of them. Instead of condemning himself to a life of anger and loneliness, Will has realized how much he needs Bristol and his family. He no longer needs to fight and is finally free from the chains of his past.

"I want all the sides of him. The man who bites and hurts and the man who lets his feelings show on his face even when he doesn't want to."

As for Bristol, her life has changed dramatically since meeting Will. Watching her fall for him was such a heartbreaking but also beautiful thing to witness because he was learning how to love her at the same time. Since Bristol wears her heart on her sleeve and accepts all of him, Will is forced to come to terms with his anger and monstrosity in order to find the strength to forgive and redeem himself. I loved seeing him transform into the man he was always meant to be—one who easily smiles, adores Bristol, and wants all of her dreams to come true. Emerson's story also comes full circle as the LeBlanc brothers become a true family and reconcile with their mother. Finn Hughes also makes a brief appearance and we're given a sneak peek of what may be in store for readers in Three to Get Ready.

"You're everything to me. You're more than I could ever deserve."

In the end, fans of Amelia Wilde and the Midnight Dynasty series will not want to miss out on this truly emotional, romantic, and angsty story between two characters whose lives were never meant to intersect with each other but fate intervened. If Bristol hadn't stolen from Will to save her family, she would have never interacted with Will beyond a personal level and he wouldn't have blackmailed her as a result. Amelia Wilde also gives us another intriguing and alluring teaser between Sinclar LeBlanc and Vivian Constantine for their future book, Cross Your Heart, that has me dying for more. The instant spark and chemistry between these two? Explosive. Sinclair investigates secrets and Vivian has plenty. I hope that Evan, Will's leading security detail, will also get a future book. I'm sensing that there is more to him than meets the eye, specifically a past heartbreak and/or loss. I highly recommend this trilogy to those who loves the broken and tortured hero who never wanted love but finds it in the most unexpected ways and falls deeply in love with his selfless and sweet heroine.

3.5 ✨ If only this would’ve been just one book instead of a trilogy 🤦🏻‍♀️smh. So bc it wasn’t a single book it dragged and was full of so much unnecessary things I lost interest alot and struggled to finish this. Either way I guess it was an okay read 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Coercion by Amelia Wilde is the explosive conclusion to Will and Bristol's story. It has drama and passion and above all, some raw feels! There is nothing enticing than a broken alpha hero finding love and healing yet not losing his filthy controlling way!

This is the last book of a trilogy. We left Briston and Will at a very dangerous point. Bristol's siblings have been kidnapped. They have to be saved. And Will has to accept his feelings to Bristol. They are no longer a billionaire and his temp bound by a dirty contract. But Will's demons from the past are still alive and who can slay them other than Bristol?

Will LeBlanc 's past has messed up with his heart and his soul. And he really didn't face his fears. Now Bristol's presence is pushing him to do so. He has to break first completely before he can heal. Obviously his first instinct is to try to control everything but feelings cannot be controlled. Bristol is the perfect mix of sweet and sassy. She has lived a life of uncertainty where every day is a survival game. She can feel Will's obsession but she is also aware of his volatile mind. Will has to show her that she matters. And he will. My favorite part was something surprising. It was the brotherly love and bond among the LeBlanc brothers. Specially Emerson. I cannot believe he has come so far that he can actually help Will to pick up his pieces. It had sexy moments but again, the emphasis was on healing Will's emotional scars and giving him his happily ever after. He is still the arrogant alpha ahole but very much in love with a beautiful soul.

Review:

Coercion brings us the the well deserved HEA for Will and Bristol. If you remember where book two ends, you know there was a difficult situation for them to solve in this book. It was so great to see Will and his protective, loving side. We had already seen glimpses of it in the previous books, but here it was perfect.

Another aspect I loved in this book was his relationship with his brothers. I love the three Leblanc guys. Haven’t read Sinclair books yet, but there is no way to not love the guy. And Emerson… he and Will starred some of the most heartwarming scenes in this book.

In my opinion, this one was less hot and more emotional, but of course, the hot scenes are there and they are great. Also great how Amelia writes her broken heroes. She is one of the best. I liked most things in this book, but their mother (I didn’t buy her excuse and explanation) and the last scene with one of the villains. It sounded unnecessary and a little ridiculous.

Anyways, this trilogy was one that really progressed well and it’s one I recommend.

This book picks up right where book two finished and Bristol is losing her mind with Ben and Mia going missing, but Will steps up putting plans into place to get them back.

I loved the transformation of Will in this book. He previously was all about himself, keeping others at arm's length, but this book thawed him out and brought his caring and compassionate side out. I swooned for his gestures towards Bristol, Mia and Ben and lived for the moments when they were all together with his family. Especially the ones shared with Emerson.

I liked that this book didn’t bring any conflict between the MCs and that while there were problems around them, they worked together on them, never questioning their love for each other.

This was a good ending to the ‘Controlling Interest’ trilogy. I loved Will and Bristol's characters, both independent, strong characters and super hot together. I think many readers will enjoy this ending, it certainly warmed my heart and I look forward to seeing what Sinclair’s story is about.

The great thing about a duet or trilogy is how much time we get to spend with characters we love. The bad thing? How loooong we have to wait between installations. And it feels like I’ve waited forever for Will and Bristol's conclusion. But you know what? So worth it!

Wilde left plenty of things unresolved before this last book. Things are still up in the air with Bristol's siblings, Mia and Ben, and Will has some decisions to make about his professional life, along with coming to terms with his feelings for Bristol. And then a ghost from his past returns and turns his world on end.

Along with the danger, drama and suspense, this one has so dang much heart and emotion, I wasn’t sure I would survive it! The love story between Will and Bristol is hot, yes, but so freaking beautiful. And the way Mia and Ben connect with Will's brothers is a sight to behold!

Start at the beginning and binge your way through, because you won’t be able to put this down. Compelling, riveting, charming and mesmerizing, Will and Bristol will be one of your favorite romance couples!

I love this trilogy, this book, the characters and their journey so much!
Bristol and Will have a scorching hot, k!nky relationship that involves plenty of real emotions as well.
They battled their troubles together and helped each other slay emotional demons.
Their story is a hard fight to trust, stability and happiness.
There’s still some obstacles and action in this book, overall it’s less intense in that respect than the previous books.
I love the main and secondary characters so very much!
Bristol’s younger siblings were such a big, beautiful part of the story. Will’s brothers and significant others brought support and big heart to the story as well.
This last book was calmer, more emotional and steady (for the characters lives) than the previous books. I loved the first two books so much and this book was a soft, emotional ending to some really fantastic characters. I’ve enjoyed these characters so very much. I love this trilogy and highly recommended it.

Book three in the Controlling Interest Series picks up right where we left off in Extortion, with the twins, Ben & Mia, missing.
Will does not waste any time and assembles a small army to get them back.

Told in dual POV, alternating between Bristol and Will, a lot happens. The relationship between billionaire Will LeBlanc and his former PA Bristol Anderson becomes more solid every day. As does Will's relationship with Bristol's 10-year old twin siblings and with his brothers, Sinclair and Emmerson.

Family ties are re-evaluated, and a lot more. The story flows easily, is captivating and unputdownable. Amazing read about building a family and a safe home for them.

I'm very much looking forward Sinclair Leblanc’s book Cross Your Heart, seemingly it will reveal shocking secrets…

Amelia Wilde always likes to end her trilogies with a bang, and Coercion is certainly a bang! Drama, romance, reconciliation and healing, and at long last, peace and togetherness for these two characters. I didn’t think Amelia could throw MORE at these two characters, but challenge after challenge befall them, the most pressing of which is ensuring the safety of Bristol’s siblings. But the drama provides the perfect backdrop to watch Will’s character metamorphosis, once a mercurial and selfish man, he’s now a devoted protector. A man willing to not just confront himself but to change himself to be worthy of the kind-souled and embattled assistant that has captured his soul. And I loved watching these two finally find their way towards togetherness, to work together to confront his past, her family, and their future, and to formulate this unique family unit with the oh so yummy LeBlanc brothers. (always happy for an Emerson and Daphne appearance!) The relationship evolves into something more substantial- and of course, Amelia brings her trademark eroticism to their chemistry. But it’s part of their journey as a couple, of them working their way through all their baggage and dysfunctional histories to find a power dynamic that works for them. The story is intense from start to finish, and with all the drama and steam we also have a lot of redemption and healing. And now I can’t wait for Sinclair!

Will and Bristol's story was absolutely perfect and everything I wanted for them. I found myself swooning even more for Will and his ways and the way his character grew and developed in this book was amazing. Bristol has so much strength and I loved seeing how she developed and found herself in this journey. This book was packed full of emotions, twists and holy heck steamy time. I found this perfect to be even better than the previous two in how everything came together while keeping me on the edge of my seat. Highly recommend these reads.

I was expecting an office romance with an alpha male, but I got nothing like that. I found the series boring; the relationship between the MCs seemed more like an adoption of the FMC and her siblings than a torrid romance between an alpha and his temporary secretary.

I liked the epilogue; it had nothing to do with the MCs but with Sinclair. I was already thinking I'd never read anything about the LeBlanc brothers again because they were boring af, but then Sinclair meets a Constantine.

REVIEW: COERCION is the third and final instalment in Amelia Wilde’s contemporary, adult CONTROLLING INTEREST erotic, romance trilogy focusing on thirty year old, billionaire Will LeBlanc, and PA Bristol Anderson’s story line. COERCION should not be read as a stand alone as it picks up after the cliff hanger and events of book two EXTORTION. COERCION and the Controlling Interest series is a spin off from, and set in the same world as the Author’s THE COLLECTOR trilogy focusing on Will’s brother Emerson LeBlanc. Will’s brothers Emerson and Sinclair cross over for cohesion and back story.

SOME BACKGROUND: In the wake of her father’s troubles, Bristol Anderson embezzled $50,000 from the investment firm where she was temporarily working, embezzlement that is discovered within hours of implementation. To pay off her sins, Bristol is ‘forced’ to work alongside, and do everything Will LeBlanc demands including any and all sexual favors both in and out of the proverbial bedroom but there is more at stake including the lives of Bristol and her younger siblings Mia and Ben, lives that are threatened for their father’s sins of the past.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Bristol and Will) COERCION continues to focus on the building romance and relationship between thirty year old, billionaire Will LeBlanc, and PA Bristol Anderson, as well as the continued safety of Bristol’s ten year old, younger siblings. Bristol’s father is in desperate need of money, and he isn’t above using his children to pay off his debts but the twin’s disappearance forces Bristol to face the truth, about the man with whom she is falling in love, and his extended family who have secrets of their own. As Bristol and Will’s relationship turns into something more, Will and his brothers must confront their own past, a past that is hoping for a second chance.

The relationship between Will and Bristol begins as a short-lived business arrangement that will quickly turn into something more. With Bristol’s attempts to embezzle money, Will will use anything and everything to gain control of the woman with whom he will fall in love. As Bristol confronts the demons from her past, Will must come to terms with what was, and what may never be. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and provocative without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

The secondary and supporting characters include Bristol’s siblings Ben and Mia; Will’s brothers Emerson and Sinclair; Finn Hughes, security specialist Evan Donovan; Bristol’s father, and Will’s mother. The requisite evil has many faces.

COERCION is a story of dysfunctional family dynamics on both sides of the relationship; power and control; greed and addiction, betrayal and forgiveness. The premise is intense and captivating; the romance is seductive and impassioned; the characters are energetic, struggling but healing.

Ever since I discovered this author, I've found that she creates worlds that seamlessly blend together while also making them totally their own. I get excited to see characters from past books. She does this in a way that a new reader won't think much of an appearance from these characters but her fans that had met these people, from previous books-- some of which she didn't even write but are set in the Midnight Dynasty world, would get excited. That was the case with this trilogy.

I know when I start a book from this author, it will, more often than naught, will be a trilogy. Even knowing that it will sting to be left hanging. That was especially true with this trilogy. I've eagerly been waiting for the conclusion to Will and Bristol's story. This was a great ending. It was nice to see Will battle his demons and learn that physical contact didn't need to just be a transaction, especially sexually. I loved that Bristol was able to show him that and that she in turn had someone who could, and would, take care of her. As great as these two were, it was the interactions and connectedness between Mia and Emerson that stole the show for me. I don't even know how to explain it other than to say read Emerson's story and then read this one and see how meaningful this relationship is for the both of them. Almost, as if they were always destined to be family.

There were a few areas that I wished had been fleshed out a little more, mainly about the Dad. It felt like a major plot hole was left hanging after he left to "handle" some things to ensure everything was okay and safe for everyone.

That being said, this was a great conclusion. Is it my favorite? No. That would be hard to match since the boys named after Greek Gods own my soul. Highly recommend this author and anything she writes.

Loved the sneak peek of what, and who is to come.

What a satisfying conclusion to an amazing trilogy Coercion is! We pick up right where we left off at the end of Extortion. Danger threatens, and it’s up to Will to make sure everyone is safe. In doing so, Will discovers a threat from his past who threatens his future with Bristol. Bristol and Will’s relationship takes on new depth, and the LeBlanc brothers overcome obstacles from their past which have been holding them back even as they reunite with their mother. There might be a happy ending in the offing if Will can truly decide what he wants.

What I love most about this book is the character development we see in Will and the way Emerson helps him better understand himself. Will truly comes full circle. Bristol shows growth as well, coming into her own as Will’s girlfriend and as a caretaker for her brother and sister. As Will and Bristol’s relationship settles down, it becomes their normal but with deeper meaning and strength. I love the LeBlanc brothers and Mia and Ben, all great characters. Wilde takes effort to show the neurodiversity of some of the characters with sensitivity and without judgment which only adds to the depth of the book.

Coercion is part three of the Controlling Interest series and cannot be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend this entire series. This one has action, drama, romance, and spice, and it doesn’t get much better! Read Coercion and let me know what you think - I’d love to discuss!

I enjoyed the conclusion to Will and Bristol's story. You definitely need to have read the other titles or this one isn't going to make any sense, as a lot of the book is spent resolving issues that first appeared in the initial book.

I liked the way this ended, and I enjoyed the way the resolution of the story was handled, with some pieces neatly tied up and others not so perfect, as life tends to be. It also made it feel a little more believable than stories that end with the characters in a perfect, tidy, dream world.

It also leaves me without much to say on this, as every resolution in this was set up in the first and second book, so they are really spoilers. So, I will say that I enjoyed the book and the story.

I enjoyed and recommend this title.

Bristol and Will!!!! I love them! And Will got so SUPER SWOONY in this book! The way that he takes over and wants to make a life with Bristol and her siblings is just 😍😍😍. Some of the suspense didn't get me as much as it has in some of Amelia's other books, but that could have just been my only brain being odd. I very much enjoyed the ALL relationships in this book, Will/Bristol..... Will/mother.... Will/Emerson.... Will/Sinclair.... Bristol/Ben & Mia.....and the closeness that Emerson and Sin started with Ben and Mia! All of it! The epilogue starting in on Sin's story sounded really amusing, so I am looking forward to that also!

This is book #3 for Will and Bristol. After the cliffhanger in book 2 there was so much action to get back to eachother and to stay safe.
Their chemistry is still 🥵 but they finally dig in to their traumas so maybe they can start their lives together. Love the found family they've become with her siblings and his. His deep-rooted family issues get a little more closure for him and his brothers in this book.
Can't wait for Sinclair's book! Loved the excerpt at the end his lady of choice is going to get him in trouble.

Well, well, well. This final installment was definitely an ending that left readers who have been invested in Will and Bristol's story satisfied.

Prepare for a one-eighty, because it only takes a few kidnappings and people rising from the dead to turn on Will Leblanc's human emotions.

I liked that Bristol was able to melt his heart, but still kind of wish he didn't lose his edge altogether, I understand serious character development and evolving, but our hero went from cold and unfeeling to soft and affectionate pretty quickly. It's like even the book's genre changed compared to the first two books.
I didn't really mind, because they weren't really my cup of tea - I nearly DNF but my mom raised no quitter -, but still.

I read Emerson's story has MFM scenes, so I'm not sure I'll pick that up, but Leo and Finn have me intrigued.

Amelia Wilde truly knows how to write a great story. I felt like I was kept on my toes from the very beginning and I wasn’t able to take a breath. That’s the best kind of book! This one was so good, and I didn’t want it to end! Definitely looking for more AW books in the future

Too chaotic. Too messy. Too over-the-top. Too much of everything. Too little of things that made sense. I had no idea what and where and why and when when I was reading it and I think that said a lot on how messed up this book was. It felt like an un-edited version of a book..I mean there were some cute moments then and there but like…what? I rarely give any book less than 3 stars but like this is inevitable. This book had it coming.

Didn’t feel any connection with any of the characters. They just felt too bland for me. Characters with no dimension. I think at one point the author just lost track of the plot and just went along with anything that came up at the moment. And I know thats how things work but like…EHH?

But I do want to read Em’s books though. The plot seems interesting and I hope Em at least had more personality than Will….

Ps. The trauma and back story part weren’t done well at all.

Alas, a story with barely any summary published! Anyhow – what we get here is the culmination of all things related to Bristol and Will and it’s good! It’s been a roller coaster for this couple – they’ve finally come to terms as to what they mean to each other and how they need to be together some how but then it comes down to safety and finding balance.

We know that Will’s uncertain about his choice to join Hughes and that’s nagging in the back of his mind. When we see the corporation almost implode with the news of Daniel’s dementia, we know that there’s an out and it’s just a matter of time until we see what Will does with that information.

Then there’s Bristol – she’s trying to keep her siblings in a safe and secure home and it’s not easy given that their father is still mixed up with the wrong people. Every time she thinks that she’s able to protect them, to give them stability, something awful happens.

It’s no longer safe in their apartment, and it’s no longer safe in Will’s apartment. (who would have ever thought that). They end up at Emerson’s house and they see what the security of life out there could be and Will decides to make a move.

Bristol and her siblings find themselves in a dream. They now have a family and a home and everything that they never knew they needed and certainly never wanted for. Will is bringing their lives to whole different level and that’s a huge change for everyone. It’s all fantasy until their father contacts them and things go sideways.

There’s a kidnapping, there’s a hostage situation, and then there’s someone from the past who’s popped up and is on the run again. We also see someone get shot, and someone go into hiding. So there’s really no comfort in knowing when the next shoe is going to drop.

Will’s mom comes back and continues to try to make contact and we have to watch how that train wreck continues on, especially now that we know that Sinclair knew that their mom didn’t die but he was covering for her.

So you can imagine that there’s a lot going on in this finale, and the ending that we get is almost worth the build up for the entire story. The nice thing though is that we get the preview in the epilogue of Sin’s story – although I have to wait now about 2 weeks for it to come out. I’m excited to see where all this goes and how the stories of the Morellis, the Constantines and the LeBlancs continue to intertwine

Coercion is the final book in the Controlling Interest series, featuring Will Leblanc and Bristol Anderson. It is also part of the larger Midnight Dynasty world by Dangerous Press.

"Would you think it was hot if I did?"
"Yes."
"Then of course I can."

I've really enjoyed this series, and it's probably been my favourite of Amelia's last few releases. Bristol and Will have a sexy work place boss-subordinate style relationship with great chemistry and plenty of feelings that they don't want to say out loud.

This picks up immediately after the cliff-hanger of the last book, so there is action from the get go.

With the addition of both their siblings, who are all adorable in their own right, Coercion had a wholesome feel to it underneath all the action and tension.

Mia and Ben are THE cutest, and the way the brothers interacted with them and one another was adorable!

"What car do you guys drive? I like to ride in SUV's, but I'm not one of those kids that's picky about everything."
"I am, but not cars,"
Mia adds.

Plus, we finally learn more about their parents situation. Learning about the Leblanc's mother was my main downside about this book though as I felt like her reasoning didn't fully justify what she did. But, it was super sweet to see how they accepted her back into the fold, I definitely shed a few tears.

I kept your watch. That's probably why it took you so long to come back. You just lost track of time."

I'm SO excited to get Sin's book especially after finding out who he's going to be with! I've wondered for ages if that character was going to get a book and I'm excited to see how their story plays out because I think it's definitely going to serve. The way I can already tell that Sin is going to make her loose control has me squealing!

And I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for Evan getting his own book, because there's no way he doesn't have an interesting story there!
