Sinful #2

Emily

Do you believe in hate at first sight?
Well, I certainly didn’t.
Until him.
After the first disastrous meeting, I knew I wouldn’t go near a person who’s rude, arrogant, and an alleged manwhore ever again.
But the universe had other plans for me. You see, the Englishman with a cocky smirk and an infuriatingly sexy accent I had the displeasure in meeting with? He also happens to be my boss.

Asher

I was minding my own business when a certain… tiny someone came into my life and I fell.
Literally. Fell on the ground with her on top of me.
The little firecracker gave me a piece of her mind and all I wanted to do was piss her off one more time. Because I can.
So I did just that.
Again and bloody again.

This is a standalone novella with a guaranteed HEA and NO cheating!

NOTE - Sinful Lust is a part of the Sinful Series but could be read on its own. For a better experience, we suggest reading Sinful Liaisons first.

I normally don't read this short of a book because it is difficult to create a well-rounded story at this length, but I was proven wrong with this book. The relationship wasn't rushed and Emily an d Asher pulled my heart strings. The beginning was a little difficult as it seemed choppy and I had to go back a couple of pages for an action to make sense, but the flow ended up smoothing out and I got sucked in. The sarcasm and torture that Emily tossed out was something admirable as that is one of my favorite types of heroines. The Hero isn't perfect and he's not an asshole, which makes him more realistic. I could totally hear his accent as the book played out like a movie in my head. The working relationship started off making me laughs hard. I mean how many bathroom breaks did that poor guy need to take after drinking so many coffees? Besides the laughing, there were a few relatable heart jabs which brought tears to my eyes, as well. The story left me wanting more, but in the best way because I didn't want it to end. I definitely recommend!

I really enjoyed this story and if your looking for a quick hot read this is it. I need to go back and read book 1 and I look forward to #3.
Asher and Emily were great together. I like that he had to google how to woo a woman and then didn’t follow the article precisely making Emily’s head spin and him to be frustrated. Interesting twist and I appreciate that Emily made Asher work for it after he hurt her.
Office romance.

Book two

It was good but I didn't like it was much as the first book. I liked having the same characters in it took see where they are now. But there was something I just couldn't really get into it like the first.

It was a quick read and I liked the HEA.

Wham-mo!!

Now this was a good read, it was hot & steamy with a dash whoa! Was definitely just what one needs if they are looking for something with romance and the little office hot topic 😉. The storyline was well written and flowed quite well, I didn't want it to end so time past by before I knew it....definitely a page-turner. I would pick this up if I was you, you'll have a great time.

I'm having a difficult time trying to word my thoughts on this book. It was great for the most part, which is why I rated it four stars, but the issue that's causing my difficulty is the use of domestic abuse in the end as the way that character got close to Asher. She claimed her husband abused her so that way, Asher would take her in until she could get herself settled, and she would make him fall in love with her in the meantime because she had been in love with him since they hooked up in college. That is the issue right there. I felt like it cheapened the story. But I can also see that, just as he thought, she was basically off her rocker and wasn't stable, especially since she had admitted to stalking him and after she found out he had a girlfriend, wanted to destroy the relationship. So yes, she's crazy, so it also makes sense that she would do that. Anyway, having been in an abusive household growing up, it made that part of the story really not sit right with me since that's close to my heart (I'm fine, y'all, I've worked through it), but it wasn't triggering or anything, it just felt weird. Wrong, maybe? I don't know. Otherwise, the story was great. Loved the pacing and reading something quick that got to the point was great, especially the tension between the characters :)

I wanted to love this book but I had a really hard time with the third act conflict. The MMC needed to grovel more. So far, the FMCs in the first and second book have forgiven the MMCs way too easily for their atrocious behavior.

FMC offered a reasonable compromise when about Lexi, suggesting she stay in one of his other apartments. MMCs response that he’s known her longer deserves a D-bag of the year award. Someone is coming to you, telling you that your gf is potentially in danger, and you take the potential dangers side? And won’t even consider a compromise? Yeah, you’re an ass hole. I needed a lot more grovel. I would have preferred someone else figured out the truth and MMC chased after FMC the minute she left. I just wasn’t a big fan of the ending.

It's a short read, only about 200 page but a very cute story. If you want to reach your reading goal in a short time then go for this book. I love the story and the characters. I feel proud as an Indian to see another Indian becoming a writer and creating great stories like this. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...#

I absolutely adored this novella especially the banter and the chemistry between Asher and Emily. It was fun to see the characters from the first novella again as well as get hints for the next couple.

Sweet and frustrating

It is a fun, frustrating and entertaining read. I'd definitely read book 1 first though. It sets the stage. Enjoy!

I love how Emily and Asher bicker it’s so cute like how she calls him a annoying orange and how he call her tiny person. Emily is such a bright spirit she loud and fun and spontaneous love her.

Asher is a hot British man that’s a genius and now how to treat her right. Loved there book so much. Can’t wait to start sinful love. The story of Rochelle and Alan.
