The Late Great USA: NAFTA, the North American Union, and the Threat of a Coming Merger with Mexico and Canada

Now in paperback, the New York Times bestseller that exposes the business and government leaders who want the United States, Mexico, and Canada to merge into a North American Union similar to the European Union.

The European Union was put into place incrementally over fifty years, not by the citizens of the member states, but by the efforts of an intellectual elite who disguised their ultimate goal of a regional government. Today, a bloated, unelected bureaucracy rules over hundreds of millions of people—people who have no say over the EU’s actions...or their own futures. Think it could never happen here? According to author Jerome Corsi, it already has.

The Security and Prosperity Partnership—announced in 2005 by the leaders of Mexico, the U.S., and Canada, but never presented to Congress for approval—is already laying the groundwork for the merger of the three nations into a North American Union. Here, in The Late Great U.S.A , the #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Obama Nation makes a boldly provocative argument about the future of our country, in this important book that was, in part, the inspiration for the final chapter in Glenn Beck’s #1 New York Times bestseller An Inconvenient Book .

My friends, America's soverignty and constitution is in grave danger. The mass media, controlled by the very few elite at the top, has not been telling you about the North American Union. Yes, the North American Union, in which Canada, America, and Mexico will merge. That's right, America is in for a borderless society, in which Mexicans and Canadians can freely cross. Similar to the European Union, President Bush met with leaders from Canada and Mexico in 2005 to agree to such thing.
Soon, our currencies will merge. Soon, we will be using the Amero as our currency. There will be a huge highway from Mexico to Canada. If such a thing occurs, I no longer can see how I can be proud of America. You know why? Because now it will be the North American Union. I will no more see the great faces of George Washington or General Grant on my currency. Now, we will have to use the Amero. Just like the European union uses the Euro, we will use the Amero.
I don't know if you've heard of the New World Order but I'm starting to make weird connections. "We shall have world government whether or not we like it. The only question is whether world government will be achieved by conquest or consent," said Paul Warburg, Council of Foreign Relations and architect of the Federal Reserve system. Quite interesting. Keep in mind: North American Union, European Union, African Union, and soon to be Asian Union. Maybe soon it will all merge to a ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT?

Mr. Corsi introduced a concept that had not occurred to me previously and for that, I am thankful. Some of Corsi's talking points have moved in various directions over the past 15 years (the book was copyrighted in 2007). None-the-less, a good read that presents informative scenarios for any American to ponder and digest.

Although this is an old book (2007), the author substantiates the discussion on the decline of American sovereignty by offering documented evidence, distinguishing himself from those who merely talk about the issue without concrete support. His right wing tendency is somewhat concerning.

Dr. Corsi is apparently a darling of the right wing conspiratorial theorists and he certainly exhibits all of the usual paranoid traits in this minutely detailed and well footnoted book. The thing is, he really does have some things to say and some potentially important points to make, once you get past his obsessive political position. My personal favorite is “creeping incrementalism”…I mean really…isn’t life, creeping incrementalism? In summary Dr. Corsi believes that NAFTA is part of the new world order that conspires to end the United States as a separate nation and make it part of a North American economic community much like the EU. I admit that the more I read about NAFTA the less appeal it holds but in theory, isn’t it really the penultimate example of unbridled free enterprise and ultimately unrestricted markets? Isn’t this what the “little or no government” folks have wanted all along? Has Dr. Corsi discovered that, much like Wall Street, once regulations are thrown out, theory may become an ugly reality? You decide.

I gave this book 5 stars, not because it was a fun and exciting book, but because of the importance of the information presented. The ongoing betrayal of our elected leaders, public servants, academia, and corporate leaders to sell out the American people to the New World Order is one of the most important issues facing us today. The author did an excellent job or condensing years of research into a quick and readable book that will get you up to speed on what has been going on to merge the USA, Canada, and Mexico into a North American Union.

The secret, unconstitutional actions already being taken by government and corporate elitists are not the will of the people. An issue most Americans, and Canadians, on all political spectrum's can unite (unless your a fascist, communist, or part of the promised ruling oligarchy).

This book is a call to action, and hour is already late.

I love Jerome Corsi, he is on it. He is tracking the progress of the globalists. He is sane and paying attention to the errosion of our rights. The agenda for the "New World Order"/one world government is rapidly advancing and most people are oblivious. I actually found the book somewhat less interesting than his articles I read at WND. If you are interested in what is really going on in the country I suggest you go to WND and read Corsi's archives.

This will strengthen the Continent's balance sheet by combining the natural resource wealth of Canada with the young Mexican workforce and the overall systems of governance and enterprise available in the U.S.. Will also add to the Military much needed soldier numbers for the coming battle(s) with China...Its going to happen sooner than later.

The author sets forth the case that American leaders are undermining American national sovereignty through agreements and treaties with foreign powers. The book focus on the North American Free Trade Agreement [NAFTA] and how it merges The USA, Canada, and Mexico into one economic and political unit similar to the European union. A thought provoking read.

Everyone should read this book. We need to be informed what the Upper Elite and wealthy is planning for our Country. Hopefully, we still have people in high places that can counter-act these (what I call traitorout acts to our USA)

Great research on a depressing subject. Europe took the long steady path to merge into a union and it's well being followed just the same on the American continent.

I can't wait to go to McDonald's for a jalapeno croissant.

A friend of mine gave me this to read. It is about the merging of Canada-Mexico and the US. Should be interesting since I feel very strongly that the US needs to maintain her sovereignty.

Some not so fun facts about the coming merger between the US mexico and Canada. Don't dispute it, or even doubt it, till you've read this book.

Had a hard time getting through this when the author repeatedly quoted "World Net Daily" as a source in one of the chapters.
