'Puzzle Journey' books are something I have made it my mission to collect and read from the libraries in my area. I'm slowly making my way through them and marking them off on a list as I go. I started last year but this one is the first this year.

'Puzzle Journey Around the World' is an interactive story about Su, Em and Eli who are bored waiting for their aunt to finish shopping one day, and go into a mysterious junk store. They find a bag and globe which have magical properties and soon find themselves whizzing to different places across the globe to find an old explorer's missing artefacts. They visit places such as the Amazon rainforest, India, Japan, Australia and more.

This particular puzzle book is part of the 'Usborne Young Puzzles' series so it's quite a bit easier than the smaller puzzles books aimed at older children. I didn't read this one with my cousin because he doesn't seem to enjoy these younger ones very much (I think they're too easy). However, I thought it was a cute way of introducing a bit of geographical interest for kids, as they visit some very different cultures and climates.
