I donโt know why but this series is totally addicting. I didnโt mean to finish all of the books now but obviously I need to. I just hope that Iโll love Connerโs story more because heโs such a likeable character.
This book is full of TW so please check them or please ask me about them before you decide to pick it. I normally donโt have a problem with TW but sometimes it was just too much.
I still think that Cole and Hadley are toxic together (at least for the most part of this book) but Iโm glad they got their happy ending after everything they got through. As Hadley says:[โฆ] even the darkest souls deserve their moment to shine.
Even the blackest of hearts deserve to loveโฆ
And be loved in return.
I just want to say that the character that surprised me in this book was James. Until now he was just a side character that I didnโt really care about but in this book, I grew to like him.
I think that, overall, this is slightly better than the previous book (which I didnโt like that much) and I loved the last 20% so 4 stars from me.

This final book in Cole and Hadleyโs love story had me hooked from page 1. Caitlyn Dare knows how to write the story of the Jagger brothers to an exact precision.
Trust Him has the perfect amount of bullying, romance and passion that you expect from the Jagger brothers. I loved Cole and Hadley in the prior book, but Trust Him sealed the deal with the HEA youโve been waiting for with these two.

I loved Ace in book 1 & 2 but I was desperately looking forward to Cole and Hadleyโs story because the more fucked up the characters, the more I wanna dive in.
And let me tell you, Ms Dare did not disappoint!
HADLEY
We find out even more about this wee lass and her story is sad.
Sheโs been through the wringer already and now she has to deal with some buuuuuullshiiiiit from Cole.
On top of that, her family are shite bags!
Theyโve basically disowned her and shipped her off to this school to keep the family image as pure.
Utter twat-waffles!
But is she beaten down? Nope!
This kitten has claws and sheโs gonna need them to hold her own with the Jagger brothers.
Now, I will say that Hadley has developed some...unhealthy coping mechanisms but damn if they arenโt hot as fuck!
This book picks up where we left off in book one, with her being abducted and held hostage by some shady as fuck lads.
And if you think thatโs her troubles come to an end, then think again because...och, my heart!
COLE
Grr! This boy pissed me all the way off in this book - not that it stopped me wanting do don a pink cowgirl hat, impale myself on top of him and sing โYeeHawโ at the top of my lungs while slinginโ ma bra around like a Lasoo.
Ha! Got ye picturing that, didnโt I?
Anyway, the thing is he thinks heโs doing the right thing by Hadley at several points but in a stupid testosterone-filled moment he fucks up badly with his actions and does the one thing heโs desperate not to.
He brakes her.
*sigh* They never listen. *shakes head sadly*.
This boy is all kinds of fucked up nommy-ness (yes, this is a new word, sure to be added to the Oxford dictionary next year :-) ) but at one point I was so angry with him that my Scottish accent came out full force and it sounded a little like this: โFuck off wiโ yer pity party, ya cunt!โ.
So, yeah. His story was never going to be smooth and filled with rainbows, right?
And the truth that eventually comes out will have your heart breaking.

Hi, let me just start off by saying I have been eagerly EAGERLY waiting for the final part of Hadley and Cole's story. Trust Him starts back right where Taint Her ended.
What I really liked was the development and connection between Hadley and Cole. We've learned that they're clearly compatible physically but in this book, we see a whole new side of trauma and suffering from both these characters. It is truly an emotional rollercoaster and I loved seeing how they prioritized self-healing and care rather than being destructive and toxic for one another. If you thought Remi and Ace were perfect then Cole and Hadley deserve the gold medal because there's no doubt in my mind that these two are soulmates.
The family moments in this book were definitely my favorite scenes. It was so heartwarming seeing the family support one another and overcome the horrors of their past together. I love our little Jagger family so much and I wouldn't mind hearing more about James and Sarah if given the opportunity!
Personally, I think I would have loved this book way better if the dramatic events were toned down. I felt like there was already enough considering their past but then more problems were thrown into the mix. It was like one thing after another and it was just way too much for my taste, some made sense I guess but there were a few that were unnecessary. Regardless, I really enjoyed this book.
Caitlyn's writing continues to improve with each book. Her storytelling is so dark and addicting while touching upon very real and haunting subjects. The conclusion of Hadley and Cole's story was so wonderful and was nothing like I expected. It only fuels my excitement for the rest of this series and the spin-off series Sterling Heights High ahhhhhh! I already read Condemn Us and seeing those characters make an appearance here had me shaking with excitement. I can't wait to read Conner's book. I assumed that Hadley and Cole were going to my favorite couple but after learning more about Conner, I think it's very possible that he and his love interest could change my mind so we'll find out! I'm only expecting phenomenal things in Torment Her!

"Trust Him" is the fourth part of the "Rebels of Sterling Prep" series and it is also the second part of the Cole and Hadleh duet by the authors Caitlyn Dare. Told in dual perspectives, get ready to meet Cole jagger once again!
After that punch-to-the-gut cliffhanger of the first book of this duet, I wanted my hands so bad on this book! It was everything I expected and so much more! Hadley was the best heroine ever and I have always been in love with Cole lol. His dark ways are addictive and I can't even tell you people how much hotter he was in this book!
The book picks off right from the point where the first one ended. I won't divulge much into the storyline to avoid giving away any spoilers , but all I can warn you guys is to be ready for much more angst , drama and hotness as Cole and Hadley are coming in with a bang and you are going to fall much deeper with them! A definite recommendation to all the dark Romance lovers out there! If you are into light bully Romance with a dark hero who is going to make you swoon and Cry at the same time , then don't hesitate to one click this one!

Wildly intense!
Absolutely more than I could have imagined. This story was pure fire, pure feeling. While I loved Cole before, I adored him in the conclusion. In this story, he is unrestrained! Broody, alpha, possessive, we experience the full force of what it means to be consumed by Cole and unhinged by his darkness. Cole is damaged, and his kindred soul Hadley "Dove" is strong enough to handle him.
Book 2 explores the growth of their tumultuous relationship with reveals about the hurt and trauma in their background, all within a backdrop of suspense, mystery, and the underground. I experienced their pain, their toxicity, as well as their fire. Hadley continues to unequivocally love and support Cole despite his darkness while Cole comes recognize how to love Hadley -- always in their special way. The love scenes between them are otherworldly, some of the steamiest and most unbridled I have ever read in this genre. I definitely appreciated the more adult flavor to the story. Of course, key characters make their appearances -- Ace, Conner, their father James, Remi and her mother, and additional surprises come to fore.
Written from multiple points of view but largely from Cole's, I enjoyed book 2 of the duet by far. It is a much darker and more mature, emotional tale, and my favorite in the four-book series to date.

I devoured this book in one sitting! I couldnโt get enough of Cole and Hadley ! This book was action packed right from the start I was held hostage and wasnโt let go until it ended ! Phenomenal read amazing conclusion I love this world this author has created she is a master at writing dark bully romance! I canโt recommend this duet enough! Cole and Hadleyโs story is a dark emotional roller coaster of a ride but itโs a love conquers all and I love that ! Canโt wait for more from this author .

Yes!! This! This is what I've been waiting for!
I adore Cole, all the broken and fragmented pieces that encompass him. However, there were times in this book that I wanted to smash my kindle against the F*N wall because he pissed me off so much.
Once I calmed down and continued reading, I was glad I did so. His and Hadley's story ripped my heart out, thrust it back into my chest, and then made it expand. Their story is dark, tainted, and cruel but they do get their HEA, and it's a rewarding payoff for the reader.
I loved this book and am eagerly awaiting Connor's book next.

The epic final to an epic duet!! I absolutely loved Cole and Hadley's story. There was so much pain and heartache in book 2! I cried so many tears for these characters. My heart ached for them, they have been through so much! I just want to talk about it but seriously, you need to experience this book for yourself.
The darkness of this story is captivating. I was so hooked from start to finish. Cole and Hadley had such a connection, they burned so hot! The angst was just riveting. I was on the edge of my seat for some of this book. I am really intrigued about James!

I received an arc. This is the conclusion to Cole and Hadleys duet and book four in Rebels at Sterling Prep. This was the absolute best ending that you could of written for this amazing tortured characters. If I thought I loved them before then I was sorely mistaken because Cole just got more and more possessive and Hadley was just meant for him. Now I just have to wait for Connors duet because this series is absolutely way up there in my top reads. Thank you Caitlyn Dare for another amazing book.

It does end in a huge cliffy, but luckily you can jump right into the fourth book,๐๐ณ๐ถ๐ด๐ต ๐๐ช๐ฎ and read their action packed conclusion.

DNF at a little over 50%
The repetition of them needing to state how messed up and broken they are and that they donโt deserve shit and that they love each other no matter what.. is obnoxious. The whole baby situation seems like such a cheap cop out. Not here for it.

Ever since I discovered Caitlyn's books she is fast becoming one of my top authors.
Trust Him starts straight back off where Taint Her left off with that huge cliffy ( won't spoil it). This book was everything i thought it would be and more. Cole and Hadley have a deep connection like no other and that no one can break or so we think. Hadley is Coles light in his darkness and most times he feels like he is not good enough for the Angel that she is. These two really have one hell of a journey and its a hot and raw and heartwrenching and heartbreaking one, these two made my heart hurt I felt just as much for Cole as i did for Hadley both go through hell and back . Cole is a broken soul that deserves it all even though he doesn't think he does. Hadley is the only one that really sees him for him and also the only one that can get through to him and also break him at the same time. These two need to go through so much to finally get where they need to be HAPPY..
This book is not for the faint hearted as it will tear your heart in two. Caitlyn couldn't have made a better conclusion for these two broken souls. Right from the start she drags you in and makes you feel like you are right there witnessing and feeling it all. My heart broke so many times and so many times I was yelling at a few stubborn people in my head lol . Do Cole and Hadley over come it all? Will secrets be revealed that will break them? Is there such a thing is to much heartbreak? well your just going to have to read to find out . Was also great to see Ace and Remi still can't keep their hands off each other, And Conner who you cant help but love even more after this book is finally getting his book so bring it on cus with that ending we need it asap.
Once again she has written a must read cant wait to add this to my Caitlyn Dare paperback collection.. Bring on Conner's book..

Trust Him picks up right were book one left off. Hadley has been taken by Donny and Remi has told Cole that Hadley might be pregnant. The Jagger boys set out to help Cole save Hadley, Ace gets captured by one of Donny's men along the way. The trailer Hadley and Ace are being held at is set on fire and they are scared, Cole manages to rescue them. While Hadley is safe at the hospital the boys go on to deal with Donny, and get a surprise along the way. Cole no longer has to deal with Donny so he can be with Hadley, but can he overcome his past? Hadley has always given freely to Cole but can she finally find her own worth in herself?
Cole and Hadley relationship has always be toxic every time they are together they can be destructive and dangerous. In this book we get to see Cole and Hadley truly development into much more mature characters that can strength their relationship. In first book Cole and Hadley were toxic and in this book they explore what it means to be in a real relationship and trust each other. When their secrets are revealed they find out they both had a bad past, and can be something better than their past. This book was an emotional rollercoaster, I do like the dual point of views of understanding the push and pull between each other. In this story we get to know everything that Hadley has endured and what has brought her to the point where she believes that the only person she can count on is herself. There is no denying the chemistry between her and Cole and she was never sure that she could trust him and that is only further challenged by the decisions that he has made which has her caught in the crossfire.
Cole is a man who is haunted by his past and guards his secrets closely. When it comes to Hadley not only is he drawn to her, but he brings her a peace that is so foreign to the life that he has been forced to live. They have so much to overcome and only time will tell if they are each others redemption or downfall.
So much heat, so much emotion and so many surprises as Hadley and Cole take us on a journey we wonโt soon forget.

Iโm not a fan of books with abusive โheroesโ and weak heroines.

โI donโt love you, Hadley โฆ I donโt need you. I need what you can give me. Hurting you gives me an outlet. A release. What we have? Itโs not love. It canโt ever be love. Itโs wrong. Dirty. Itโs a fucking disaster waiting to happen. I donโt want you, Preppy. I never did.โ
- This is what Cole says to Hadley shortly after sheโs been rescued from being kidnapped, drugged, held hostage and almost killed. And at the time he knows she might be pregnant with his child.
Cole treats Hadley like trash for most of the story. He uses her for sex and then tells her right after that he doesnโt care about her and then walks out. But she still runs back to him. When he gets angry he becomes abusive, both verbally and physically, and she just accepts it and makes excuses for him. When he gets abusive during sex, she thinks: โHe was never taught how to love โฆ He needs this โฆ As long as he lets his anger go after he deals out punishment.โ
Are you kidding me? He โneeds toโ abuse her to feel better and sheโs ok with it? Itโs not ok to abuse someone just because youโre damaged. That doesnโt give you a pass.
This was a toxic relationship. These two kids both need help. I didnโt buy the fact that theyโre all of a sudden happy in the end.
The only reason this book gets two stars is because of the side characters and because Cole actually starts seeing a therapist near the end of the story - something he desperately needs.
I liked Ace and Remiโs books and after these 2 trash books following Cole and Hadley, Iโm really hoping I like Connor and Kennedy.

Damn this book starts off with a bang and does not let up! Cole and Hadley both have a darkness inside that draws them together even if their relationship is dangerous it doesn't stop the intense, fiery turmoil that keeps this story heart stoppingly brilliant. So many twists and turns, a series that just keeps getting better the more we learn about the Jagger's and their haunted pasts. So can't wait for Conner's story!

Y'all I was not ready for the second part of Cole's book him and Hadley broke my heart. These two are both so broken but I will say Hadley has more fight than Cole does. Hadley took so may hits in this book and ahe just kept going I was so proud of her for her strength. There was so much going on with Cole in this book I wasn't sure what was gonna happen with him he worried me. Haldey and Cole both made some awesome decisons towards the end of the book that made me so proud I really liked the ending ... and the teaser for Conner's book totally shocked me!

Loved the conclusion to Cole and Hadleys story! After the way the previous book ended I was loving that this picked up right where it ended. Both of these two have had such a tough life that has tested them both to the max, especially Hadley and her strength surprised me.

This book picks up where one left off. Omg from the first chapter you just hang on for the ride. Cole and Hadley journey is not a clean one but what true relationships is. They both handle things a bit different. Cole's back story broke my heart. These brothers just tear you down just to build you up and make you love them more. I can't wait for Conner's books. This book has trigger warning.

Trust Him is book four the in Rebels at Sterling Prep and book two in Cole's duet.
Cole is most definitely the darker and more damaged Jagger brother, therefore his story has more elements of darkness and trauma (While I'm not triggered personally be sure to read trigger warnings before reading).
After the cliffhanger of Taunt Her thankfully Trust Him dives right back and picks up there. This whole book is about Cole redeeming himself, not just to Hadley or his family, but himself. He doesn't believe he's worthy, his self esteem is so so low that he pushes away any goodness in his life before it can leave him. While he is convinced he will destroy or taint Hadley, she brings light to his darkness. While opposite in so many ways, their darkness calls to each others.
Throughout this book we get to see Cole's growth as a character, he develops more than any of the others in my opinion. Coles story while rather dark at times, he undergoes the most change.
A tiny teaser of what's to come in Conner's story at the end of this. Along with a few possible hints about Gravestone and what to expect from the Gravestone Elite series - I'm yet to read it because Bexley bugs the hell out of me! But I'd be lying if I didn't admit I'm curious since rereading this series.

Remi and Ace took a piece of my heart but Hadley and Cole took a piece of my soul.
Taint Her showed the intense physical connection between Cole and Hadley and you get the inkling of the emotional connection while Trust Him bared every broken piece of their being.
Cole and Hadley opened up to each other more and yet there were obstacles that seemed to be waiting in the shadows to rip them apart. You could feel the love they had for each other on every page and every emotion as if they were your own. Love isnโt always enough and these 2 had mountains of pains from the past to unravel before they were both left destroyed.

Caitlyn Dare brought their A-Game for the finale of this duet. Hadley and Coleโs story was breathtaking, it was intense, raw, heartbreaking and heartwarming. This book is an amazing read and I happily devoured it in one sitting. Cole and Hadley have been through so much pain and it is personified in this book. This book is a dark, emotional whirlwind. Cole and Hadley have dark secrets in their past and everything is revealed in this beautiful story. Will they be able to weather the storm and finally form a strong relationship? Is their love strong enough to conquer all? I loved this book and this series so much. Caitlyn Dare is a master of dark, bully romance. She is an automatic one click for me. I canโt recommend this book enough!!

This book was great.i enjoyed the previous book with Cole and Hadley but I felt it was dragging too much with telling what the secrets were.
In this book I already figured Hadley'a secret was a pregnancy. Cole I also figured it had something to do with sexual abuse since he had issues with anyone touching him. Where I found his issue to be so much worse and understood why he was so tormented and broken and behaved way he did. My heart went to him because I couldn't even imagine living with those secrets so long.
I'm hoping in Conner's book we still get a glimpse of Cole and Hadley because I would like to know if she does decide to accept the proposal. I felt like we were just left hanging with her being annoying with not deciding with many things.
I'm happy to see Cole's development in this novel. It made my heart smile seeing him open up, confessing his love, trying to do the right thing even after the miscarriage. I will say he is my favorite character because he's the most complex one.

Overdramatic
I liked the first book better. But I feel like there are certain things in these books that the characters over exaggerate that just throws the book of for me. The first book ace's hatred towards his uncle\now dad even though he didn't know anything about what happened. Like he wouldn't even give him a chance to explain.
In this book Hadleys parents are terrible. And I get they made her get an abortion and sent her away. I'm not saying they aren't awful people. But trying to compare her having an abortion is the same "darkness" as being repeatedly raped as a child just doesn't sit well with me. She was 15 and she makes it seem like she tried to trap him so they could be together. When she says nobody would love her after what she did then we find out she just had an abortion seems a bit dramatic to me
