This is a fabulous text on optics. Concise and conceptual. This is my prefered text on Optics and I own it.

A classic book on the subject, it hasn't been updated in over forty years. I don't have a recommendation for anything more recent, this will handle any old school optics questions you may have.

A beginner friendly book that keeps track of optical waves from rectilinear propagation to it's wave and particle nature with beautiful diagrams and explanations. Not recommended for exams, the problems may seem outdated.
