Thanks to Netgalley and First Second Books for the ARC of this!
I think this is the best of the series! It kept up the cute illustrations and playful dialogue, as well as having an adorably heart-warming storyline. Great for kid who are working on their drawing and storytelling.
This one actually lives up to the title "Adeventures in Cartooning". The cover alone has more cartooning information than most of the books in the series.
The little knight wants to explore world building. The horse just wants to draw candy. They have a fight and the horse leaves. Then the cartooning elf shows up and starts explaining about things like foreground, middleground and background. The knight uses the techniques to try to create the most awesome world possible to attract the horse back.
Instructional and entertaining heart-warming story of friendship while learning how to create your own cartoons! This one focuses on using your imagination and basic shapes to make different backgrounds.
This was every bit as good as the first. It’s informative, creative, and so funny! My kids loved it too! Thank you @netgalley and @firstsecondbooks for a chance to read an early copy of this book.
