This Gothic Romance novel does not disappoint! Although I was able to guess the villain, I did not know which man the protagonist was going to end up with at the end. In addition, all of the different mishaps that occur in the novel were eventually explained and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I have another book by this author I will be reading in the very near future as well. I definitely recommend reading this!

Another great gothic by Beverly C. Warren with likeable characters and an interesting plot. I loved Adrian and I loved Heather, their relationship I also loved, their quiet companionship that builds from the moment they meet with the other not knowing their love is requited. All the other characters were either likeable or served their purpose, I think I speak for everyone when I say her sister Diana was horrible and the only character I hated in it and well let's just say she pays dearly for that. Although Heather and Adrian do spend a lot of time together throughout and have good development, there sadly wasn't a lot of romantic scenes as their relationship dynamics was stuck with both of them thinking their feelings are unrequited, so I would have ideally liked a few more scenes in the romantic vain but the ending made up for it, it's hard to satisfy me with two pages at the end but this was one of the few that achieved it. I love when all feelings and misunderstandings get cleared up at the end and this delivered so a lovely book with a great hero and heroine. I did guess "whodunit" pretty early on as most probably will but those things don't really matter to me, I only care that it's wrote well and that I like the romance and it was and I did.
