This was a nice little treasure. It's like the book version of all the deleted scenes in a movie, in this case, the deleted scenes were taken from volumes 1 to 9 of the main story. Some of the short stories were just recaps of previous events in a fresh pov, others were entirely new scenarios. There were a lot of them and all of them were delightful to read. There were also a lot of character bios and summaries so it's really good way to recap all the events and people encountered previously in the story but still maintaining that freshness.
I didn't realise this starting this book that it is essentially a collection of short stories that are already present in the ebook versions of each volume up until volume 10 I think. I didn't reread the stories but I'm logging this book as read seeing as I did read all the parts to this book already. I love the extra short stories at the end of each volume so that is the reason why I gave this book an average rating of 4/5 stars. There are some short stories I don't particularly like, but overall I would recommend reading the short stories. It provides great depth to this world.
An entire collection of short stories. Some were better than others - some were eh, while others had me cackling.
Unfortunately, there are a few repeats in here from the extra stories at the end of previous volumes, but there were not too many of those - maybe 5-7 out of about 50?
A series of short stories covering old content from the perspective of the people surrounding Yuna. The issue is that almost none of them add anything new at all. It's like reading a super tedious omnibus of the first 9 volumes.
A recap with all sorts of different PoV was not *really* necessary since the story is very light, but some of these little stories were quite fun to read.
I'm almost positive that the majority of these stories are reprinted from the earlier volumes, so there's not much point in reading this one. I don't really care enough to check though.
