Welcome to the Cinderella Ball: come single, leave wed! As if by magic, meet and marry your perfect partner--all on one special night...
Hanna Tyler was fed up with her family's matchmaking schemes: she just had to find herself a husband! When a friend gave her a ticket to the Cinderella Ball, Hanna took a deep breath and decided to bring home a husband--on a trial-only basis, of course!
Marco Salvatore was looking for a business deal, not a bride. He considered it impossible to choose a wife in one night. He was wrong; he wanted Hanna the moment he saw her...and they were married by midnight! Now Marco simply had to convince Hanna that their instant marriage could last a lifetime!
I love family first and foremost, which is why writing family sagas and stories that involve family is so much fun. Maybe you can tell that from my books since they always feature the warmth and joy and ridiculousness that comes from having a close-knit family.
I also love animals and have taken in rescue dogs and cats and fostered dogs for the local animal shelter.
And of course, I love writing. All I need is a functioning brain (batteries not included), a pen, and paper, and I can write anywhere. Please don’t let a conversation with me lag because my imagination takes over and I. Am. Checked. Out!

Marginally better than the other one I just read in this series. This is not my type of writing. There is little to no detail or attempt at realism. No real indication of how much time is passing, no attempt to make these people's lives in any way realistic. It's all rainbows and unicorns, smoke and mirrors. It lacks any concreteness at all.
Then at the end someone sees the hero kissing another woman and when the heroine asks for an explanation the hero refuses to explain and is all insulted and walks out on her and their marriage. And he thinks she's being so unreasonable. It seems to me that if she had just accused him and kicked him out that would be unreasonable. Asking for an explanation is reasonable. Just think of all the other harlequin books whose dilemmas could have been solved if someone had just said "hey I saw you kissing some other woman, care to explain?" See? Reasonable.
I have some other books in this series but I think I'll give them a miss. It's odd but I've read other books by this author that were not this vague, half formed sort of writing. Hmmm, again.
This was a decent book with a heroine who is all logical and make lists and is kind of adored by the entire town that raised her but she is tired of match-making efforts and goes to the Cinderella ball where she fells out of place until she meets the hero, who seems the opposite of her.
Marco Salvatore didn't plan on getting married but he's a romantic and sees behind the heroine's mask and plans to keep her and their marriage.
I got very cheesed off at the heroine many time, she was just too into work while it seemed Marco was the one making all the effort to keep their marriage but in light of her childhood it did make sense(abandoned by her parents and raised by the town, she likes keeping distance).
Es bonito y muy tierna, una historia algo loca pero nos encantan esas historia así que no viene mal! Super delicada la escritora de los personajes, situaciones y sentimientos.
This was one of those virgin widow books. The heroin married her first husband when he was dying, to help him keep his farm (I think). The Hero sees her at the Cinderella ball and falls instantly in love. I never really understood why she wanted a husband. Later we find out that she has a five year plan (she likes planing and have five year plans both concerning her privet life and her working life) that says she wanted to be married before she was 27. She’s about to be 27.I got the feeling that this wasn't really the reason though. The book was sweet but just an ok read.

Cinderella Time A masked ball to find your prince or princess and get married in one evening. Hanna is desperate to find somebody as a companion, because she doesn’t believe in love. Matteo stands on the sideline, not planning to participate, but unable to resist the unexpected attraction he feels when he spots Hanna. Slowly her secrets are revealed and understanding for a lack of trust and emotional distance grows. Interaction between the two MC’s is funny, a highly traumatized woman and her wonderful, supportive husband, who in the end find their way together. Wonderful read!
This is an older Harlequin RITA finalist. It caught my attention when doing research and I read it in one evening. The story is quite improbable, but it was sweet and compelling. Marco, the hero, was one great guy. Hanna, the heroine, was very reluctant and insecure, but Marco knew just how to help her. I got tears at the end. Not a great book, but I'm glad I read it.
I liked this one soooo much better than the first one in the series!!! I didn't end up skimming this one, but read it straight through. Matteo is a sweetheart, and I was charmed by him and rooting for him all the way.
This is another of Leclaire's Fairytale Weddings series. It was not my favorite book of the series, but it is true Day Leclaire style. It is always good to recognize the characters from the series and how they interact with one another.
