God I love Haru so much.

There's just something magical about a main lead who knows her worth, and tries to improve, loves being a sex worker, but also cares about so many around her, but also won't take shit from losers. This is a great showcase for her, and even in dark situations like when the lead captain comes being a complete and utter rapist loser, she tries to hold it together. She also gets to enjoy some bombass sex with a mysterious older guy, fun fun! The ending makes me worried though.

These middle chapters from the novel are the same mix of sexual assault and misogyny leavened with Haru's positive attitude and one of her happiest nights in the medieval fantasy world to which she has been transported.

But having read the novel, I know her darkest days are coming . . .

times are getting dark...I am glad Haru finally gets to connect with her dream man, she deserves some happiness!! but the soldiers and their terrible leader are really starting to cause major issues with the sex workers. it's frightening how violent and misogynistic they've become, and I'm absolutely terrified for Shequraso!!!! I hope she is okay (メ﹏メ)

Not the easiest volume to read again. Haru has already been through quite a lot, customers who are bad. But now still have those soldiers around who apparently care more about listening to their boss than thinking with kindness. Such dickheads, and the way they treat the girls was just horrific and I felt for the girls. They don't deserve this, not at all. Treat them with respect and kindness. So yeah, I was pretty worried about one of the girls going to the camp as requested of the guy she likes, and given the ending.. I may not have been wrong. I want to read the next volume, but I am also scared of what will happen.
And then there is Chiba, who I never liked. And while he did have some points here that I could understand, the total package is that he is just a dick and disgusting.
I am glad that there were some softer and happier moments to give some light in this dark volume. The man who comes when it rains. Sumo. Some sweet moments between the girls.

I am unnerved to say the least. A few thoughts: Rain Man is SEX (MY GOD THE ATTRACTION TO THIS MAN IS OFF THE CHARTS). Sumo is the best. I'd like nothing more than to get an entire volume of nothing but Chiba and Centurion getting their asses OBLITERATED. Our sweet baby #3 better be okay but I have a feeling she won't. Kiyori NEEDS NEEDS NEEDS to grow a pair/backbone/whatever.

And finally...the Madam can get her face rearranged too. I recognize that she's likely as helpless as the other women in this world full of misogynistic assholes. However, she's created a precedent for these men to be able to do what they feel to her people that trust her.

I'm too invested in this, as you can tell.

LOVED THIS!

Haru is a boss B with excellent skills at telling Chiba to grow the frick up and act like the protagonist he’s supposed to be in this world. Haru stands up for herself and gets more love she deserves, but has to still fight the misogynistic military men and even Chiba who thinks he can rule her!

Blimey the rain man is hot isn’t he? What a blessing to this anime series..

And I pray for Shequraso…brb getting the next volume…🥰

I love how this series is obviously very playful and silly at times but so many of the SWer storylines are so accurate and really portray kind of classic scenarios or universal feelings that play out. I love the storyline with Shequraso and her boyfriend and that now the story is expanding. Can’t wait to go get the next ones at B&N!

Honestly part of the fun of this series is my trip to the one B&N I can find them at and always searching the manga sections at other locations in case I happen to find it and I never do 😂
