Serena was excellent on the Great British Sewing Bee, and I'm glad she's published! The patterns seem to be well-explained and approachable for a confidant beginner. I haven't made any of them, but only because the fashion isn't my personal style. Can recommend for seamstresses who like fun feminine clothing - puff sleeves and flouncy skirts abound!

I'm in sewing mode at the moment and this book was especially of interest to me as it is all about recycling existing clothing and how to make the most of what you have, by making sustainable individual items. A fab book.
