One main sentence per page with 1-2 short sentences of other facts in very small print. The main sentence is simple and informative. Also invites kids to do actions (flap wings, what color are its wings? point to the green one) so it's a bit interactive while scientific and informational. Bright and real photographs with vivid colors.
