The other animals laugh at Benji the bunny because he is always sleepy during the day. However, when the animals worry that Easter will be ruined because it is almost bedtime and the eggs are not hidden, Benji "saves" Easter by hiding the eggs as the others sleep. When the animals realize what Benji did for them, one of the bunnies apologizes and all the animals decide to treat him kindly. Then Benji falls asleep with a smile because "he was amazing just the way he was." With a few small changes, I think I could have really liked this book. I love that the illustrations scream "Spring!"

The animals were making fun of the bunny who slept more than normal, then they discussed how the best part of Easter was an egg hunt. The best part of Easter IS NOT an egg hunt, it is that Jesus died and rose again for us to be saved from our sins. I stopped reading at the line of an egg hunt being the best part and had to explain to my child why that was wrong.

his adorable board book tells the story of a bunny who is too sleepy to play with his friends all day. Little do his friends know, the sleepy bunny has a surprise in store for them. 4/5 stars.
