Ok um wow!
Here I was happily reading along with an idea of the rating I wanted to give, and review half written in my head, and I had to scrap it all.
This review is going to be short and sweet so I can go pick my jaw up off the floor.
This author is definitely finding her feet now that she's a few books in, and I can't get enough (which is a good thing, since she writes humungous books!).
Absolutely adored the characters and plot with this one. The only thing that got to me at times was the heat was turned right up and the plot felt interrupted by it at times.
That's just me and personal preference though and I know many who will enjoy that.
I'm just a self proclaimed suspense junkie who is loving the thrill of this series, that's all.
Already eagerly awaiting the next book.

Charlie and Daniel are still holding secrets from each other, but are also falling harder than ever for each other. Going public with their relationship might seem counter-productive, but it's also necessary. Will they make it through unscathed, though? Not if certain people have their way...
Charlie is even more badass than before, but she's also let Daniel into her heart the way I and he were hoping, and it's made her even more awesome. I like how though she's softened toward him, she's still strong, tough and seriously fierce. Daniel is so damn swoony as he falls even more in love with his fierce warrior, and I loved him even more for it. But of course there was a doozy of a cliffhanger, and now I'm on edge waiting for Chase Her so I can see how Charlie and Daniel figure out how they're going to get out of the big cluster they find themselves in at the end of Hunt Her.

I couldn’t wait for more Charlie and Daniel and they did not disappoint. They’re so in love and happy, despite the challenges of his celebrity. It’s not easy, but they’ll deal with it because being together is the only thing that matters. Their love is sweet and hot and everything I wanted for them, but paparazzi isn’t their biggest problem. Charlie has a stalker and Daniel still has a secret he hasn’t shared.
This is full of action, suspense and heat, I couldn’t put it down. It does end on a cliffhanger of sorts so fair warning, but that’s all I will say. I love these characters and the way their story is unfolding and can’t wait for more.

Hunt Her is book two in the Come For Me trilogy. Charlie and Daniel are making their relationship public at one of his movie premieres. It is not with dangers from attack, either from enemies or ex-girlfriends.
However, they have planned time away after at Charlie’s home. A chance to get away from the spotlight and strengthen their relationship. It also helps that her home is on an island and can keep them safe from a threat that is taunting her via text. She knows who it is, but when he declares war with an army of unknown rebels she is overly cautious.
Still fighting his celebrity status and over zealous fan, with her desire to keep them safe, they know what they have is worth it. This is not for the faint of heart, as they light up the sheets with their desire for each other repeatedly.
I wish we had a little more of the suspense with her taunting stalker, but we still have book three to see how it all plays out.

This fast unfolding story of the burgeoning love between Charlie and Daniel, is such a pleasure to read. As it grows, the withholding of secrets, especially on Daniel's part becomes that elephant in the room for the reader! How will this all play out?
The banter, the relationship, the love, are all developed so well, making this series a real treat. The impact of families meeting, the relentless paparazzi, are all tangled together in an enticing good plot with this fabulous pair at its centre. The conclusion should be epic 💖💖💖💖💖

I thoroughly enjoyed the prequel and book one in this series so was eager to read this next book and I can honestly say it was sensational. I absolutely love the way this author constructs her sentences to convey so much meaning and with so many emotions, a true wordsmith.
The continued relationship between Charlie and Daniel grows and develops with plenty of hiccups along the way, just like any relationship, although, being a celebrity there are more roadblocks. Navigating these, though, becomes at times very threatening to them and I found myself getting quite irate with the ‘baddies’. Yes, you do become that involved because the story hooks you in and your interest is captured until the very last word.
These two lead characters have such scorching hot chemistry, their passion is paramount in their relationship but not the primary factor, their understanding and support for each other is and that’s what makes their relationship so great. I enjoy sexy, passionate scenes with the best of them but not when they overtake a storyline and I applaud this author for not doing that, yes, there are plenty of scenes but it’s not overwhelming—the underlying suspense takes precedence.
The fun banter between the characters, and not just Charlie and Daniel, adds a lighter element so it’s not all serious business. With threats, attacks, constant fear—this lighter side balances things well. All the way through the story the suspense gradually builds to an incredible crescendo, the intensity is immense as you read as quickly as possible to find out what happens—to me, the sign of an excellently planned book.
I now have to wait for the next book Chase Her, but believe me when I say… it’s worth the wait!

Hot, steamy, action-packed, suspenseful thrill-ride from beginning to end! Couldn’t put it down!
What I liked:
* Charlie: strong, independent, focused, ex-Marine, marksman who never misses the target, lethal, bodyguard, protective, intuitive, aware, good friend, guarded, has secrets, knows what she wants, loves deeply and has fallen totally for Daniel
* Daniel: wealthy, handsome, mega-star, A-list celebrity, model, actor, hot, loves his family, protective, great book boyfriend, there for his fans, not always as aware of danger as he could/should be, fell hard for Charlie and loves her deeply
* The plot and writing
* The tie-in of family and friends – great people there for both Charlie and Daniel
* The way the online stalking amped up the storyline and was used by both sides
* How creepy and disturbingly disturbed the stalker was
* That Charlie is so very aware of threats, authoritative when under threat, and defensively capable
* The communication between Charlie and Daniel
* That not all of the secrets Charlie and Daniel keep have been revealed yet
* The way women and women in the military are presented as strong, capable and admirable
* Getting to see how Keira, Juliette, Rob and Joaquin are doing
* The way that Jeremy, her boss, was there for her and provided the backup and information she needed
* That Daniel and Charlie were so adventuresome and communicative in and out of the bedroom
* Knowing that there is a third book in the series and eagerly waiting to read it.
What I didn’t like:
* The stalker and his followers
* Daniel’s ex-girlfriend
* Having to wait for the next book – want to find out what happens next

Ok, how do I start this?
I still have to collect my jaw, because it's still glued to the floor with this book.
Kelly has done it again!
The book is the second installment of her debut series and follows the incidents of the first book. We have Charlie Ravenel and Daniel Pierce. In love. Together. Finally. But everything Charlie did to protect Kierra, the teen actress who was being stalked by a creep, just made herself a target. Now this stalker is after her. And he wants blood.
I loved everything about this book. The pacing in this one is faster than in the previous one, which worked perfectly for me since I found Pierce Her a tad bit slow... And it seems like Kelly compensated all the slow burn of the first one on the second, because this book is a fricking VOLCANO! Charlie just rediscovered her own sexuality and Daniel is the perfect partner to explore it. Listen to me! Daniel will do ANYTHING for Charlie. You heard me. ANYTHING.
Also, the way Kelly explored Charlie's paranoia and her obssession with keeping everyone around her safe in detriment of her own safety was awesome, specially with the stalking situation happening. Another thing that grabbed my attention is how Charlie and Daniel are a real couple. Not everything is perfect, they disagree and they argue that disagreements - sometimes in a unhealthy way - exactly how normal human beings do. We get angry, we say things we don't mean.
And THAT CLIFFHANGER. I sent her a very upset message on Instagram, because I just couldn't believe she left us like that. HOW DARE YOU, KELLY? I need to know what happens next! But Kelly promised me the next book is almost ready to go and I'll have to believe her lol
I highly recommend this book. Hell, the whole series. Kelly nailed everything. From Charlie's Marine background to Daniel's messy celebrity life. It's amazing.

Where does a person even start expressing her views on this book. Kelly - when you said that the level of spice 🌶 was more intense in this one, I feel like you were a tad disingenuous. I give you mad respect for your insane smut-writing skills. The sh*t gets down and f’n dirty between the covers of this one - I’ll just leave that pun for y’all😉 The chemistry between Charlie and Daniel is off-the-charts and they are willing to try every imaginable thing with each other.
Now, personally, this is why I gave Hunt Her only 4.5 stars. Not that I’m a prude by any means, it just ended up being a bit much for me in this department.
With that being said, let’s talk about the story behind the spice. This series of Charlie and Daniel just keeps getting better. Finley’s portrayal of Charlie’s kick-ass, strong as a mofo female heroine is downright phenomenal. This woman packs a punch and leaves no question that she will protect everyone around her. I love their love story and the struggles that they have to endure to be together. It is a testament to true love overcoming all obstacles 💕
I can’t leave this review without talking about this one little 🤯 thing……I’m not sure if I can forgive that cliffhanger. How dare you leave me in suspense like this. It really isn’t fair to my inner psyche!
If you haven’t read this series yet, I really don’t know what you are waiting for. From the prequel, Protect Her, to the first book, Pierce Her, to this newest release, Kelly Finley has written a story that encompasses everything from fear to lust to love. And even if you are not a lover of some grand ol’ smut, I still recommend these books - just skip over those sections - because the stories are so worth it!

After finishing Hunt Her the only thing on my mind is when I get my hands on the last book in this fantastic trilogy. For a debut author Kelly Finley definitely knows how to build up the suspense and ramp up the tension in a book. Charlie and Daniel are now ‘out’ as a couple and are facing attacks from all sides. Plagued with threatening texts from an anonymous source, it’s as if no one wants them to be happy. As a couple they are great together with a lot of witty banter and interaction between them. Their chemistry is scorching and they are willing to try anything. They’re not perfect. They fight and argue but don’t let things fester but both are still holding back slightly and keeping secrets from each other.
The plot for Hunt Her moves at a fast pace and doesn’t let up for a second as the suspense and tension builds as Charlie and Daniel try to force their main protagonist into exposing themselves without putting their own lives on the line. With a cliffhanger that will leave ready to throw your kindle/book at the wall while you scream NO!!! The Come For Me trilogy will definitely be on my top 10 list for 2022. I’m look forward to reading more from Kelly Finley as to me, this is an author who just keeps getting better with each new release.

Well Charlie and Daniel are back at it in this next installment of this adventure. I love that we finally get to dig more into both of their past and see how they are going to really function as a couple outside of the public eye as much as they can. Trying to hide is the biggest struggle for them. I love watching them meet each other’s family it’s such a special thing for both of them. Also a big thing for them is they are still struggling with their deepest darkest secret that they still have yet to share with each other out of fear of rejection. I love that in this book we see there relationship grow and that maybe they can let the other in and they will not loose that love they have built. They still fear loosing the other, that they will Leave and be all alone. We got more “Charlie-isms” which were great. I just love the sassy banter that Charlie and Daniel have. They are so perfect for each other, they dig through lots of emotions and go through lots of things in this book and still make it through even stronger for it. Now I can’t wait for the last book so we can see what happens next!

Well, right until the last page of the book I thought it was a duet (don’t ask me why, but I had it in my crazy head) and then I read the last page and thought: wait, what? I had to go back and then I saw that there is going to be a third book. So, I don’t even have to say it ends in a cliffhanger, right? Right.
Let’s go back to the story. I liked the second book better than the first. I like how their relationship grew stronger and how much they love each other. Of course I’d pay attention to this because I’m the romance junkie! Also, this is a really steamy book. The dirty talk is something else. We usually get a dirty talker hero, but here, both of them mastered it. We also have the suspense factor. So, if you like your romances steamy and with a mysterious side, go back and read Pierce her first.

If book one, 𝑃𝑖𝑒𝑟𝑐𝑒 𝐻𝑒𝑟, was a slow burn, then this book is piping HOT 🔥
It’s hard to review this and not drop all the secrets out into the universe so I’ll go ahead and do the best I can to entice you pick this up without spoiling all the goodness it possesses.
Book one left us with a lot of unanswered questions. So I was reading this one like a detective on Murder She Wrote 😆 That’s sort of what I love about romantic suspense—I suspect everyone and no one is off limits. So even the cab driver will fall under suspicion when I’m reading such novels.
This book has thrills, steam and a great story! Thank you Kelly for bringing yet another great one into our hands. I will say, although it’s not a standalone, Finley did a great job of giving readers little refreshers from book but it didn’t feel repetitive in the least. I personally appreciated the little reminders throughout this book that may have slipped my mind from book 1.
This book isn’t about finding love. It’s about fighting to keep it and treasuring it. Daniel and Charlie feel right together and watching their love strengthen is a foundation to this book.
This one ends on a cliffhanger and now my mind is reeling. Give me more!

Let me tell y'all something, a strong bada** heroine is absolutely catnip to me since I can't get enough of them. And one who is a former military member is even better so she's the protector, which Charlie is. She fell in love with the Sexiest Man Alive, Daniel, and they're happily lighting the sheets on fire. However things are going to take a turn because they're going to go public which with his celebrity has its challenges. It turns out that someone is taunting her by text, and he's keeping a secret that won't make friends so the twists are coming in hot making it impossible for me to put it down even for a bathroom break to be honest. It's the second book in their journey so YOU HAVE TO READ Pierce Her (Book 1) FIRST! The pages are packed with heat & twists as it's fantastic suspense filled goodness page turner leading all the way to another cliffhanger ending that has me all kinds of crazy because of the impatient wait commencing so yeah, it's safe to say that I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Well, @kellyfinleyauthor has done it again with Hunt Her, book two in her sexy thriller Come For Me series. Charlie and Daniel are back for more danger and much much much more sex. I’m not sure that two hornier book characters exist. These two are orgasm addicts. Genital junkies.
When we left off in book one, Charlie took down her client’s stalker and she and Daniel were ready to ride off into the sunset…or actually into the glare of his blinding fame. But not so fast, the stalker wants revenge and he won’t sleep till he gets it. He spends the book hunting and fucking with Charlie and Daniel. Meanwhile they spend the book fucking each other seven ways till Sunday. When she’s not being ravaged, Charlie works to keep she and Daniel safe. Daniel just works out a lot, which is important bc I like my male MCs to have ripped abs.

Oh Kelly Finley, you are a wicked one with that ending! This book, the suspense of what’s going to happen, because you just knew something big was coming, is amazing. I still absolutely adore Charlie and her bad@ss ways. One of my favorite parts from this book, that made me stop and say, damn I want to be Charlie when I grow up, is “Daniel, do you think because I’m almost a wife and mom that I’m going to stop fighting? Stop defending myself or others? Hell no. In fact, I’ll get worse. If someone comes at me, my kids, or you… they’re f**king dead. I’ll rip them apart, rearranging their guts and DNA too, all with a f**king smile on my face.” I love the love between Daniel and Charlie. I am still dying to know Daniel’s secret though!!
One thing I’m loving about Kelly’s writing is how true she sticks to a certain regions way of life. From the phrases people use, to the spelling of words. It shows how much research, thought, and effort she’s putting into her work. This book is excellent and should be enjoyed by the masses.

This is Book 2 in the Come For Me Series and my first read by this author, and I must say that I quite enjoyed the storyline and the characters. It is the next installment to the steamy romance between bodyguard Charlie and A-list actor Daniel. These flawed but likeable souls and the unique plot make for an intriguing read. There is no denying the sizzling chemistry and strong connection between these two souls. Their captivating love story continues with combustible attraction, drama, surprises, steam, twists and turns, plus appealing secondary characters to keep the reader interested. A page turner with a cliffhanger ending.

Hunt Her by Kelly Finley is book Two in the Come For Me Series. This continues the story of Charlie Ravenel and Daniel Pierce that started in the First book 'Pierce Her' in addition there was a Prequel called 'Protect Her' that made this helpful to fully enjoy this book. This book does pick up where we left off in the last book. Charlie and Daniel are going forward with their feelings along with making it more know to others. But Charlie is still have a threat from her past and Daniel isn't opening up as he should with his secrets. So they are heading to their happy ending we don't get it in this book and their story does continue into the next book: 'Chase Her'. Can't wait for the next installment.

Well that opening chapters has got me aware of the stalker mind seat. I have not read book 1 first but I wish I did. However I still enjoyed the book and I can feel the relief off the page that Daniel & Charlie going through. They fought for their love and now can they keep it?
Charlie is a kickass heroine and she is a ex marine, she does suffer from PTSD. Daniel is a famous Hollywood actor & sexiest man alive. Now they are together abs enjoying their life HOWEVER Mason the man we learnt did horrific things is not done...no spoilers

Wow - Book 2 in the Come for Me series will have you on the edge of your seat from the start.
I loved seeing how far Charlie has come since letting Daniel into her life. The walls have slowly came down from her heart and letting him in was so great.
Charlie knew that once she stepped out of that limo her life would be changed and she was willing to make that sacrifice for the man she loved.
Daniel had waited a lifetime for a love like he has with Charlie only problem is he still holds a secret that he knows may wreck them.
The twist and turns in book 2 had me unable to put this book down because I needed to know what was going to happen.
I will warn you it does end with a cliffhanger and you will be begging for the next one. Luckily for us readers we won’t have to wait long and that I am grateful for.
Add this book to your suspense/romance shelf because your gonna want to know what all about Charlie - Daniel & Mason.

I hadn't read anything by this author beforehand so I went into this blind. To say I don't regret it, however, is an understatement!
This is the 2nd book in a series, so I was a bit lost at first but that is my own fault! I was however sucked in from the very beginning and found it hard to put the book down - who needs sleep, anyway? The pace is quick, the characters are interesting and the plot is on point 🤌🏻. The spice is right up my alley and I honestly couldn't ask for more. I have a love/ hate relationship for cliffhangers and let me tell you - I'm done for! I need more ASAP!

Oh my gosh!!! I love this series! Very steamy, racy, romantic and suspenseful. This book had me wondering the entire time of Daniel’s secret and I still don’t know what it is!! For two books now I have been in suspense. The pure love between Charlie and Daniel is explosive. And man oh man the spicy scenes had my fanning myself. I love all the side characters and wish I would have seen them a bit more in this book but that was okay because it focused on the main characters growth. The ending!!!!! I must pick up the next book ASAP! I need to know what happens next.

This one started slow for me and I wasn't sure about Charlie and Daniel. Daniel is definitely alpha but I didnt think him and Charlie could figure it out. There going public and also going away together after to bond and strengthen there relationship more. The threat towards her is another reason to be away. By the end I really knew these two were meant for each other and I enjoyed this more than I thought.

Oh my goodness, that ending! Even though I sensed it was coming, it still left me utterly shocked. Charlie’s journey throughout the story is truly inspiring; her growth and resilience shine through, and I love how she remains authentic to herself. Daniel’s love plays a significant role in her healing, but his ongoing secret is starting to get on my nerves—just spill the beans already! His obliviousness regarding their safety is equally frustrating; it took him far too long to grasp the necessity of protection. Despite these flaws, I can’t help but adore him and love her!

Book 2 picks up right where book 1 left off, so you need to read that one first. Charlie and Daniel are taking their relationship public and things will never be the same. With someone taunting Charlie and threatening to come for them, Daniel is still hiding something from his past and throw in the public fascination, it's enough to stress out anyone. Good story line, I loved having the Anonymous POV. This book ends on a cliffhanger so be prepared!
