...THE WICKED WILL BE PUT TO DEATH! As the world shakes, an unlikely group of heroes and less-than-heroes gather to find a peaceful solution. Sadly, the best laid plans of man, mutant and Eternal oft go awry…
and here we are everyone *drums* Judgement day the second issue.
it starts where it had finished in the previous issue, where the something, has finally come... (I'm doing a hard job not spoiling anything!) so our superheroes find themselves in the middle of chaos; a war. one that no one has ever seen such like. this is one of those that we're not sure if they're gonna win and all the childhood fantasies, that OUR SUPERHEROES TAKE ON THE WORLD is coming to crash.
This is a lot of building blocks here. A lot of great moments though that show how desperate the Eternals can be. But more so the ending is what really helped elevate this issue and made me excited for the next.
This issue wasn't doing much for me. It felt verbose and confusing. The best part was the 6 people and their thoughts at the beginning and again towards the end. It felt the most real. Then the ending hit and I was much more excited about this series and what is to come. The art was very good and the action scenes popped.
Oh dear this is getting crazy. Don’t like how Sinister is looking like Marylin Manson but the rest of the art is fine. I enjoy for once the Avengers are coming to help the mutants. Though I wonder if it’s just because they are a nation now. Welp help is help. 15 million in the Queue? The Council should have took Selene up on her offer. Krakoa could have rivaled Arrako in population. Oh so that’s who the voice was. Everyone is important.
