The old stone mansion Charles and I have booked for our week-long honeymoon seems to be something straight out of a fairytale.
That is, until it all starts to fall apart. Quite literally. My poor husband plunges straight through the staircase on our first night--and it's a real wonder he didn't need serious medical intervention after that.
I want to find another place to stay, but Charles insists he's okay and that he'd like to see the week out. Of course, we become stucker than stuck when we stumble upon a lost kitten crying for her missing mama in the back garden.
We can't just leave her, but we also can't stay here, especially once deadly rumors begin buzzing in the garden… What happened to Charles wasn't a mistake, but he also may not be the intended target.
Time to find the kitten's mama and skedaddle. I just got married; I'm definitely not ready to become a widow!

A bit so happy honeymoon

Bright heavens! A motherless kitten, a hotel reservation from the depths of the underworld, and Angie’s ability to talk to animals reaches yet another new species. Only Angie and Charles could go on their honeymoon and end up knee-deep in another mystery… Or rather, several of them. This book led me on a merry chase. I may have had my (correct) suspicions about the villain, but their motive was a complete mystery to me, and I was pleasantly surprised during the big reveal. However, it’s learning that the series is nearing its end that has left me with the true fright. I was kind of hoping that the author would never retire it.

HONEYMOON HEARSAY by Molly Fitz is the 17th installment in her Pet Whisperer PI series. This is another fun and we'll written cozy mystery that kept me turning pages. The twist is that the main character can talk to animals. This is a quick and fun read that will make you smile and possibly even laugh out loud.
Angie and Charles have finally got married and head to southern charm mansion in Georgia for their honeymoon. On arrival they find time has not been kind, the property appears a little run down. Expecting to have the whole mansion to themselves, instead they get a B&B room and some unfriendly co-residents. Before they decide to cancel, the find a starving kitten that can't find its mother. Angie and Charles decide to stay long enough to find the mother. But from the first night Charles is fraught with accidents, some life threatening. Determined to find the kitten's mother and leave, they stumble on some mysteries: who's destroying the bee friendly plants, and why is someone trying to hurt Charles.
I have thoroughly enjoyed these well-written stories and the hilarious animal antics and personalities. Just reading one of these fun and entertaining stories make my stress fade away. Really missed the opinionated Octo-Cat this round.
I recommend all of Molly Fitz's stories to animal lovers and cozy murder mystery fans, alike.

I did enjoy this book as it was sweet but for me it missed Octo cat's moaning and demands. In fact other than Angie and Charles the rest of the characters that we have come to love (and honestly expect) were sadly missing. The author did introduce a new fun character, hence the sweet reference but I missed the old gang. There is no murder to investigate and very little mystery, it is more a case of working out why Charles kept having accidents. It was solved easily and very abruptly, I think maybe it should have been a longer story so more investigation could have been carried out. Still a fun story and as the next book is the last in the series I think maybe the author is already winding it down.

Molly Fitz is a fabulous paranormal cozey mystery writer with sixteen in this series this making the seventeenth all very well written each mystery bringing to Blueberry Bay's very own pet w PI. Angie and Octo-Cat is where it all began, then Charlie came along and it's honeymoon time. I was so excited to see what was going to happen because you knew there was a mystery waiting for them to solve and I wasn't disappointed the array of characters are vibrant, colorful and quirky drawing you in wanting to get to know them better while the mystery entices you further along and the plot carries you from the beginning casting intrigue, mayhem and surprising events here and there keeping you entranced throughout turning page after page until you've reached the unexpected and climatic conclusion. I couldn't put it down between the mystery and interwoven and engaging drama. Acquire " Honeymoon Hearsay " today for hours of intriguing and enjoyable entertainment. Kat.

Angi and Charles are married! [ note: so are Octocat and Grizzabella] and are on their honeymoon! They have promised no work- hard for a PI and a lawyer. After all, Nan and the gang back home aren't there...
After a disappointing start, while strolling the gardens, Charles finds a tiny visitor - a kitten separated from her mother. Angi talks to the tiny one to find out what happened and the two attempt to keep the kitten out of sight, and try to find her mom.
And mysterious things happen as Charles gets stuck in a broken staircase and Angi gets an earful from the bee queen about them being driven out. Not exactly the honeymoon any one might want, but after everything else in the series this is pretty much expected from Molly Fitz and I am very happy to continue to recommend this series. 5/5

Angie and Charles have been booked at an old stone mansion by her parents for a week’s honeymoon stay. Her parents stayed there and enjoyed it and wanted Angie and Charles to have a wonderful relaxing honeymoon. It seems that someone is out to get Charles or possibly the both of them starting out with the stairs falling through which could have killed Charles. He suffered other incidents, but I will let you find them out for yourselves. Besides the mystery, Charles finds a kitten and the two of them try to find its mother. There is definitely something bad going on at this Mansion. Who and why are the two questions to find the answers for.

Molly Fitz has given us a sweet little mystery with Honeymoon Hearsay. This is the perfect read for curling up on a chilly afternoon! Angie and Charles have finally gotten married! For a wedding present Angie’s parents have given them a week long trip to the place where they had honeymooned thirty years before. What was supposed to be a luxury trip to a private mansion quickly turned into a nightmare! It was a delight to learn that the mystery didn’t involve a dead body! Grab your fuzzy blanket, a cup of hot tea and a copy of this book for a wonderful afternoon with Charles, Angie, Octo-Cat, and their new friend Charlene!

Angie and Charles are finally getting married and going on a honeymoon. You know they can't have a normal honeymoon. They head to Georgia to be alone on their honeymoon. They find they are not alone. Trouble seems to follow them, and Charles gets hurt. Angie decides to find out what is going on. Let me not forget to mention they find an adorable kitten.

Angie and Charles are headed to a southern mansion for a weeks honeymoon. Thinking they have booked the entire place, they arrive to find they have one room, a nice one, along with other guests! When strange “accidents” begin happening to Charles, Angie wonders if someone is out to sabotage their honeymoon. Unfriendly staff and guests definitely don’t help! Will this be the honeymoon from hell or can they fix it? A fun mystery that I received a free copy of from the author. I write this review entirely voluntarily.

Of course, Angie and Charles can't have a typical honeymoon. They are leaving the pets behind and heading to Georgia for their honeymoon. When they get there, they expect to have the place to themselves but find that isn't true. A lot of things are not what they were led to believe. They do find the most adorable kitten who is looking for her mother. When several "accidents" happen to Charles, Angie is determined to find out what is happening at the mansion. She also finds out that she can talk to bees. What's next?

It was good to read another Pet Whisperer PI book. This one was sweet with Angie and Charles as newlyweds and they acquired a kitten who was searching for her mother. There were mysterious occurrences and the search for the mama cat, but without Octo-Cat the mood was very different.
I received an ARC from the author for my honest voluntary review. This series is about to end and I will miss it. The author’s handling of a wide range of animals with entertaining personalities has been a joy to read. I have the last book on order and may just reread them all!

One of my favorites!
I have really enjoyed this whole series. This installment is one of my favorites. I liked the characters. Several of them seemed like real jerks though, especially Blaire. I loved the sweet baby kitty. I could not figure out who was doing the sabotaging and was surprised. What a great ending. I'm looking forward to reading the last book in this series and I know I'll be sad because it's the last. This series will always be in my memory because it's the one that made me know how great cozy mysteries can be.

Charles and Angie are married and on their way to a honeymoon in Virginia where Angie’s parents’ honeymoon. Unfortunately, when they arrive, the problems begin. They don’t have the whole house to themselves. Everyone seems to be grumpy. On a visit to the garden, Angie finds a young, starving kitten. They sneak the cat to their room and decide to stay in this nightmare of a b&b to help find the mother. Fun read.

Please say it ain't so!!!! Not the end of the series???? I'm going to miss Octo-Cat sooooo much!!!! Now that they've added a new member to the family the series is going to end??!! Boy, I hate that!!! What about the Merlin series and the other newest series, are they ending too???? DAMN!!!!!!!

It's so sweet. A good story and a new baby. Charlene, a little girl. Sorry could not keep that one in. I did not like the ending so well though. My heart is bleeding over that. It is a very good story though. I received a complimentary review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Worth the read!
Angie and Charles, I love them together! But, I did miss Octo-Cat. He is just so important for this series, so that did change the style of this story, without his snarky demands it just reads differently. But it was a lovely and well written story, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I highly recommend it! Although I liked the ending less. But still very much worth the read!

Book 17 & this series never gets old. Each book is addictive and entertaining and this honeymoon of Angie and Charles is not going to go smoothly at all! Shocker!!
A cozy mystery this time set in Georgia filled with surprises, accidents, mystery and a cute little kitten. Perfect for curling up on the sofa with a cup of coffee.

Honeymoons are supposed to be care free and wonderful beginnings to the couples life. This was supposed to be--except things kept happening to the husband. Then they found a tiny kitten who was looking for her Mom. They could not leave until they helped her. Of course all the animals were talking----don't worry the culprit was found who caused the accidents---and Mom was found as well!!

The honeymoon is going to be great with a nice place that her mother enjoyed on their honeymoon. As soon as they got there, things weren't exactly what they thought it was, and everything was run down, but that's not the worst. This book is full of mystery too many to count in one book and the ending well you won't be disappointed

This book is so good. It has a mystery to solve and is full of twists and turns and will keep you turning the pages to see what happens next. I love this series and highly recommend it.

Loved it!!! Only one more book to the series, I’m sooooo sad. This story was really good , a little misleading by the picture on the cover. Charles and Angie don’t disappoint. Happy Reading :)

Loved the book. Charlene stole the spotlight. Being a pet whispered sounds like fun, but it comes with a lot of adventures.
