A warm book about miracles from god that are scattered throughout the universe, invites us to reflect on the miracles we receive every day. The illustrations for this book are very colorful with different background illustrations for each page.

This is a picture book in the words of a child who's admiring God's creation at every point in life. Be it Oceans, sky, friends and family, animals, stars, ships and their voyages.
Illustrations were so good and in relevance to poem.
One must be thankful for what they already have rather than what they could have.

Author, Cleere Cherry Reeve explains in flowing text, the creativity of God as the readers view creatures that swim in the ocean and the spender of the sky. God created this wonderful and majestic world for us to enjoy yet nothing is as wonderful and awesome as the gift of the child God gives to you… a true miracle. Alejandra Barajas, illustrator, has captured beauty and innocence in the scenes and faces of the children.
This book can install in your little ones that Jesus is the giver of miracles and build a self esteem in children as they learn how loved and special they are.

I fell in love with this book from the front cover – that endearing little boy with the big blue eyes reminded me so much of my nephews & my heart just affectionately flipped over in my chest. Then I opened to the first page and quickly fell in love all over again. Not just with the illustrations – though, those are supremely adorable – but also with the message of this sweet little picture book.

In a world where the value of life is diminished by the day, it’s so important that our littles have people who are speaking truth into their lives. Truth like “You are precious,” or “You are one of God’s miracles”, or “You are created to be exactly you.” And The Miracle of You is a great starting point! From all of God’s creations in the ocean, to the moon and stars and the whole universe and even the animals (including the family dog), children are reminded that none of these amazing miracles compare to the miracle of the child(ren) to whom the book is being read.
Bottom Line: The Miracle of You is – in a word – adorable. The affirming text by Cleere Cherry Reaves reminds children how dearly they are loved by their parents or grandparents or even their cool aunt (depending on who is reading it to them) and that they are precious because they were created by God. The illustrations by Alejandra Barajas completely stole my heart, and I dare you not to melt over the insanely cute kids that grace these pages. I loved the diversity in those illustrations (“God’s love is found on lots of different faces!”) and the bright colors that will surely draw children to this book. A definite asset to any home library!

This little book is simply darling. With gently flowing, rhyming lyrics the book is easy to read and the perfect snuggle time story! It celebrates the unconditional love a parent or loved one has for a child through comparison with other amazing parts of creation, reminding the child that their worth is far more than those things. Building self-confidence and reassuring little hearts, this book uses vibrant illustrations that change from page to page featuring diverse children and color-filled scenery. It is lightly faith-based. With a daughter who’s joined our family through adoption, I liked that this book focused on love and the gift that a child is.
One thing I’d like to note is that I do wish the book reminded children that as much as the “reader” loves the child, God loves them, too (far more, in fact). The book explains that the child is one of God’s incredible miracles and a wonder of His creation, but focuses on the human aspect of love rather than God’s own unconditional love, which sadly goes unmentioned.
This book would make a good addition to any child’s bookshelf and would make a sweet gift for a baby shower, baby dedication, adoption, birthday or special gift from a loved one.

The rhyming text and adorable illustrations will make this a family favorite! The author compares things around a child (animals, sky, planes, etc.) to how much she loves her child whom she calls a miracle. As you read this to your child, they will begin to understand that loving them is a different kind of love then for things or nature. Your love towards them cannot even compare to the love for these other things. The illustrations are so good! You will smile at all the cute faces on the different children illustrated in the story. The colors are also so inviting. This is a perfect before bedtime story or for when a child is having a fussy day!

This is a very sweet little book that I believe every parent will enjoy reading with their young child. It is a perfect gift for a child because it celebrates the never-ending love that a parent has for their child. This book could also be a great gift for a child on the occasion of their adoption.
The book has adorable pictures, which will be very appealing to the age of the intended audience and were delightful to me as an adult. Additionally, it is beautiful that the pictures include children with a wide variety of skin colors and pigments.
The words themselves are creative and include a very pleasing rhyme scheme. This is a book that I would be able to read aloud many times with ease due to it lyrical form.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review. The Miracle of You is well written, beautifully illustrated, and absolutely delightful! The story tells of God’s majestic creation while emphasizing the miracle of a perfectly created little one. The illustrations are colorful, engaging, and captivating! I read this to children aged 5-7 and they absolutely loved the book! It is one of our favorites now! I will be buying this book for gifts for baby showers, toddler birthday gifts, and even some adults that will enjoy reading the poetic pages. God's creation is wonderful but even more wonderful is the miracle of a baby!

This picture book has sweet illustrations and a nice message about a mother's love for her child. The book emphasizes that even though there are all kinds of wonderful, thrilling things in God's creation, "the miracle of you" is even more precious than any part of nature. Although this Christian publisher is inconsistent in whether or not their offerings are faith-based, this one has multiple references to God and is intended for Christian families.

Think about the friends we have who come from many places. They show us that God's love is found on lots of different faces!
God made us in his image and that is greatest glory. He also has given many good things in creation that shout out his goodness. This children's book is a great reminder of all those good things. The illustrations are beautiful and I liked how the story rhymed on each page. I loved the message but it got a little boring in the middle with repetitive statements. I loved the ending where the parent is telling the child how much they love them. My son beamed at me when I read that part and told him that's how I feel about him. We also chatted about the creation of the world with him asking lots of questions.

The focus of this book is a heartfelt joyous expression of the love of a parent for their child. The comparison between the natural wonders of the world and the special qualities of the child bring home the way mothers and fathers feel about their offspring.

The Miracle of You is a beautifully illustrated book with a deeply meaningful message of unconditional love for parents to share with their children. It details how highly valued they are to God as well as to their families and friends using fun rhymes and sweet pictures to tell the story. I absolutely always love reading about God and His creations. However, this talks about the miracle of CHILDREN! All I could think about when reading it to my daughter, was well, her! How beautiful and wonderful she is, all thanks to God.
His creation from the sky to the coral reef in the ocean is absolutely breathtaking. We must seek beyond what our natural eyes see & see things for how God does.

The Miracle of You by Cleere Cherry Reaves is a beautifully written book about a parent’s love for their child and how God created them. I love the Message of the story and the illustrations. Absolutely beautiful illustrations. I wish the text had been formatted differently, so the rhyming word was always at the end of the line. It was sometimes hard to figure out the rhythm because of that.

This colourful christian picture book shows children where they fit in the world around them and reminds them that god loves them and all creatures. While it may not fit in my public school classroom, it is a nice story and one that families would probably enjoy sharing together.
