I thought this was a well written adaptation. I’m not familiar with the original book but I found this adaptation easy to follow and I got a real sense of the destruction caused by the martians in a short book. The illustrations are well detailed. The book feels like it would be accessible for someone to read who is learning English. I also liked the glossary at the back of the book.
