I loved the action of this book. The female character was a badass and the male character was a warrior. The vibe between them was amazing.

Sydney Archer was the last one to join the team, and is the only woman. She’s carried a heavy burden most of her adult life. Having to live up to her father’s expectations and follow the path he choose for her. That was then, now she is doing what she wants, to be a tier one operator, eliminating threats and bad guys, while being a single mom to her teenage son.
Beckett Hawkins is the Sheriff in his hometown in Alabama. The oldest of the Hawkins clan, big brother to A.J (Chasing Daylight: Stealth Ops series) and Ella (The Broken One: Falcon Falls series). He is a growly, grumpy single dad to his teenage daughter, who is deeply devoted to his family and loyal to a fault. He sees things in black & white, right or wrong. Sometimes you have to explore the gray area, the middle or you end up losing.
Beckett & Sydney end up working together when Beckett turns to his brother in law Jesse for help in finding someone. Their banter and playful teasing lightens some of the more serious moments. When things heat up, yowza! Their steamy moments are lava level hot. Despite all the obstacles and fears they forge ahead, too many lives are intertwined to not succeed. Once the mission is complete, then what? Deb Hawkins didn’t raise any fools, and Beckett is not going to let his dream go without a fight.
Brittney’s stories pull at your heartstrings while taking you along on the thrill ride. She weaves the secondary characters in and out without sacrificing the main arc or losing the tempo. Action packed, emotional and a great love story. This will be another huge hit!

Wow! Another great book by Brittney Sahin. Book three in the Falcon Falls Security Series is Sydney and Beckett’s story. With each book I think this is her best. The stories she weaves are so fantastic I can’t put it down. I love that she brings in characters that were introduced from her previous books and her current characters have usually been introduced. Once again her characters are fighting for their lives and falling in love along the way. Beckett has been the grumpy character and Sydney so stoic, to see them fall in love and show their softer sides was fun to read. Cannot wait for her next book in this series. Hits have been dropped like breadcrumbs.

The book is well written as always with Brittney’s work. Characters are well developed her involvement of children makes the book down to earth and realistic. Her work is for both men and women. The book flows well and doesn’t draw scenes out surroundings are well described.

I received an ARC of Brittney's latest book in the Falcon Falks Security series. Sydney is a bada$$ operator who's a single mom, Mama Bear to her son Levi,capable,big hearted,walls up as high as the Teton Mountains,who finds that surrendering sometimes isn't always a bad thing. Beckett,if you love a grumpy,grouchy,stetson wearing Alpha dude with a hidden "dominant" side,who's has a protective streak as wide as the Mississippi,he's your man. Beckett and Jesse from the Broken One get involved in a personal mission dealing with someone from Beckett's past where they team up with Sydney and Mya that ends up with them taking on the Cartel. Thankfully they have help and resources from the Falcon Falls guys, AJ,Liam,Emily and Elaina fromThe Stealth Ops family team. Oliver and Mya's interacting,the banter,the attraction spells a another fantastic adventure in the future. It has elements of heartbreak, adventure,danger,suspense and the heat kept building like a pressure cooker.So many players and threads that are woven together into a completed tapestry that is work of art. The ending was phenomenal ,I may have gotten a wee bit shiney eyed over a couple of scenes.I personally think this the Author's best work to date and that's saying something based on her previous works.

Another fantastic book you will not be able to put down from the first sentence to the last word. Every emotion will be felt. Happiness, laughter, angst for an adventure, sexy romance and sadness. You will find every emotion you have ever felt in this book. The places where the story takes place will feel like you are there ! Every book just gets better and better.

The Guarded One
Just wow.... I have been waiting for Beckett since AJ'S book! Oh I freaking lived this story. We finally get an inside look into Beckett. -Seriously my new book boyfriend and this saying something. Liam is mine!!! But now Beckett is mine and I will fight all of you. Lol
This story opens up with them in Mexico within the first few pages you are caught up. Then the next thing you know it 1 am and you have work. I was shocked probably like most Fans of Brittney's fan girls. That Gray and Sydney were not going to be together. Curve ball, but after reading this story and how Sydney and Beckett just flow so effortlessly. They are perfect!! Sydney is one of my favorite leads out of this series so far! I LOVED her. Just chefs kiss perfection. I can't wait to read the remaining of these guys. The Guarded One has become my new favorite book in this series.

I highly recomend this book, and normally I would say this is a book in a series but you can read it standalone- and you can, but man you would miss so much of the depth that way... Brittney has tied not only her stealth ops books but her hidden books in as well and while the characters are easy to enjoy without back story its so much easier to keep everyone straight when you know them. That said, if youve read any of the later stealth ops or falcon falls books you are familiar with the grumpy sherrif Beckett and if you're like me youve wondered what broke him and made him such a crank, a sweet crank mind you but a seriously cranky cynical old before his time type. His story is straight 🔥 and you begin to understand why he is so standoff and avoidant. And then there's Sydney, shes all badass exterior and suffering we rapped up tight to not expose herself. And together there is a mosaic built of his broken parts fitting into her wounds and making not just a whole but a whole with extra to spare... no spoilers but ill say it this way... when mommys and daddys love eachother very much ... haha kidding but not... you'll have to read it to understand and go through all of the heartbreak and overcome the shame for past situations, do some very hot dancing, and maybe even shower with a spying monkey, but you'll have a wild time and enjoy the ride for sure.

Wow...another great read by Brittney Sahin! This is her third book in the Falcon series and it does not disappoint. Brittney has a way of keeping you emotionally involved with her book characters. Many of the characters are from her previous books which makes you feel as if you truly know these people. Beckett and Sidney's story is delightful, believe me when I say you will not want to put this one down!!

Wow!!! I was fortunate to be able to read this before the release date and WOW!!! What an amazing story! I highly recommend this book. Brittney Sahin brings together characters from previous stories together again and it proves to be a powerful combination. Beckett and Sydney have a undeniable chemistry throw in some danger and romance with a dash of insecurities from the past creeping in and you get a story you won’t want to end! Enjoy you won’t be disappointed.

What an absolutely phenomenal read. Beckett and Sydney’s story is a fast paced page turner for sure. From meeting at a family wedding to working together on a very personal case for Beckett it’s non stop action, intrigue and of course romance. Brittney weaves a wonderful story line to keep you going to the very end.

I do not know how Brittney Sahin is able to consistently write books that have stories that pull me in and make me think, characters who I both love and sometimes want to smack up-side the back of their head, and still give me the HEA that I need in my life, all wrapped up in action and adventure...and yes, sometimes heartbreak.
This book is a must-read, but make sure you have plenty of free time...it's difficult to put down once you start...

finally! Yes!
Hands down, this one is my absolute favorite of the Falcon Falls series. Brittney delivered in this one IMHO. Not gonna lie tho, Mya was getting on my nerves so I hope she doesn’t get her own book, lol.

The Guarded One is the third book in the Falcon Falls Security series and can be read as a standalone. But I HIGHLY encourage you to read the first two books (The Hunted One and The Broken One) in the series before you read this book if you can so you can familiarize yourself with all the characters and what has happened so far with the team. If you can’t, no big deal but you will want to go back and read them after you finish this book.
The Guarded One is a military romance story between two single parents who have given up on love for themselves and devoted their lives to making sure their children are well taken care for. And when their pasts have become their present, they are forced to deal with the issues at hand while saving the world one bad guy at a time and keep Team Good Guys winning.
Sydney Archer is the latest addition to the Falcon Falls Security team and recently left her family’s business to become a full time member of the team. And as the only team member who has a kid, she is learning how to balance the life of an operator and single mom. This book is ridiculously good and gives you all the feels with the thrills, twists, turns, heart melting & heart clenching moments. Oh, and those red hot spicy scenes!! The world that Brittney has created for this series along with the international missions and those on Team Bag Guys is mind blowingly amazing!! I am in awe of how she is able to put everything I know and love about a contemporary military romance and thriller with a sprinkle of dark romance and write a book that instantly becomes one of my favorites. I swear, every single book she writes gets better than the last and I for one, hope she writes forever. Lol! If my tiny humans didn’t need help or weren’t out of school for the summer, I wouldn’t have put this book down. So make sure you have lots of time to sit down and read so you can fully get lost in the world of Falcon Falls and how a bada$$ like Sydney Archer falls for the small town sheriff, Beckett Hawkins.
If I keep writing this review, I will give something juicy away and I can’t spoil this book for you. But I will say this, I live for crossovers in book series and in this book, four of my favorite characters are in this book!!! Oh my goodness, the potential Easter eggs in this book have my mind churning on what will happen next in the world of Falcon Falls. I can’t wait until Book 4!!!
If you haven’t realized it yet, I highly recommend this book and all the books in the Falcon Falls Security series. Do yourself a favor and get this book when it releases! Let me start with I love all of Sahin’s books, every single one. She always writes strong female characters that can stand on their own, show their independent and yet at the end of the day still want the alpha guy. It isn’t a typical romance novel relationship and it makes her stories stand out. But let me tell you this heroine isn’t just independent she is fierce and well to put it the only way you can she is bad@$$! She is guarded, she has been hurt and like many women we can relate to how our past experiences shape how we look at new relationships and the men that come into our lives. Sometimes fate just delivers you the perfect person that is just as guarded and has the same rough edges you do that you fit so perfectly together nothing can fit you better. Our hero is grumpy but who can blame him after learning his history. But inside that grumpy exterior lives a man with with a heart of gold and one strong enough to an alpha one minute and the next let his woman be the strong Alpha she is in her own right. And on a final note like in everything Sahin does she drops just enough tantalizing tidbits to keep you on the edge of your seat waiting for her to finish the next book in the series.

OMG! Where was Beckett hiding this whole time? Who knew that loving caring father was such a dirty talker? We knew he had fire, we saw it when he was protecting his family, but Wow!
I love Sydney soo much! What a loving mother and friend she is! And her son, Levi? I love him so much too!
Their story just falls together in a way that's pure magic! From the start you are invested in their lives and can’t stop reading. The strength of the characters and the depth of them are amazing.
Beckett can’t stop himself from helping his daughter, McKenna’s, birth mother, even though she has disappointed him every time. But when things go really bad, he calls for help from his brother -in - laws, Jesse’s, team for help. Mystery, mob bosses, danger, suspense, and chemistry explode as he and the team find a way to help Jesse and McKenna’s mom escape.
I always sat, there is no way Brittney can write a better book then the last one she wrote, oh am I wrong every time! It’s no wonder she is a One-Click author for me, I am never disappointed with anything she writes, I’m usually blown away with her stories!

This is Sydney and Beckett's story. Beckett is a Hawkins lives in Alabama, and is a former Los Angeles Detective and the current Sheriff of Hawkins Glenn and single father of McKenna. Sydney Archer is on the Falcon Falls Team and works for Carter and is a single mother to Levi that she shares with a ex husband. Beckett attempts to help his daughters mother that is mixed up with the Sinaloa Cartel in Tulum, Mexico with the help of his new brother-in-law Jesse, until Jesse is taken by the Cartel when he saves the night club owners girlfriend Ivy, he signals Beckett to call Carter. I would recommend this book and series for mature readers that enjoy reading stories that are a mixture of funny, steamy, suspenseful, and romantic.

Brittney Sahin has done it again! The Guarded One follows broody small-town sheriff, Beckett Hawkins, and Falcon Falls Security’s ice queen, Sydney Archer, on a mission like no other. With emotional walls up, the two must work together on an op that starts off with a single target, and manifest into something larger than expected. As they work together, their attraction to one another is undeniable. Can they make it out of the mission with walls still intact, or will they find themselves lowering their guard to let love in?
The Guarded One is a wonderfully complex page turner filled with multiple layers and building storylines for upcoming books! This book has it all – action, suspense, romance, plot twists & turns like no other, crossover characters, wittiness and plenty of mmmm mmmm steam. I went through the emotional ringer with this one. I laughed, cried, raged, picked my jaw off the floor, and squealed with delight throughout the entire book. Brittney did not disappoint!

Book 3 in the Falcon Falls series is another "can't put it down even though it's 2am!" Seriously it was 2am and I couldn't put it down.
Beckett and Sydney are everything you want to read about. Beckett is a strong leading man who can be soft at the correct times. While Sydney is badass except when it comes to giving into Beckett. And then she is all woman. "
The story line will pull you in every direction from a "oh no she didn't" to a "what was he thinking??" to "where is Brittney going with this??"
All in all it's a must read!
**My suggestion is while this can be read as a stand alone: that if you haven't read the other series (Stealth Op Bravo and Echo Teams) that you go ahead and read those first. Many of them appear here and it will make more sense as to who is who. **

The Guarded One is my new favorite book by Brittney Sahin. The story was phenomenal. The characters so relatable. She brought in the characters from some of her other stories (and if you have read them (you don't have to but highly recommended), gives you an additional storyline for those characters) and just makes the whole series better. Brittney's books keep getting better and better. Thrilling, romantic, relatable fictional friends - all in a great escape for a few hours that you hate to put down. A five-star, excellent read.

Wow!!! Just Wow. Brittney Sahin has written another amazing book. This is book 3 in her Falcon Falls Series and to be honest it is absolutely amazing. Grumpy pants Beckett and beautiful unapproachable Sydney are a match made in heaven but they must go through literal hell to get to their heavenly happily ever after. This book is everything- love drama tragedy angst and finally the best happily ever after that one could imagine. Beckett and Sydney went through literal hell fighting the cartel to get to safety and back to each other. Every time Brittney writes a book it becomes my new favourite. This author has a truly amazing gift with prose. This book is a 10⭐️! It really is
