This is another fast paced action packed story in this fabulous series and yay we get to see Maya find the man who could make her happy, Hollywood heart throb Neon Bloom that is of course if she can keep him alive.

Maya, Ghost is a snipper and a very good one, she has her reasons for joining the army and it all stems from her days growing up and her family but those reasons she keeps to herself, now she is working with her army mates for Alpha Tactical Ops and loves it, when she is hired to be body guard for Neon Bloom, Maya starts to feel that maybe she could find happiness.

Neon was born to money and has lead a life of body guards to keep him safe, after being a stunt man for a while he turns to acting and makes it big time but those body guards have never gone away. He is now filming on a deserted resort island when everything turns upside down and his life is once more in danger as well as many others.

Maya and Neon find themselves in a battle to stay alive as armed gunmen search for them on the island it is a dangerous situation and they open up to each other like neither have before, a chance to get a message to her team sees them arrive but will they even be able to save the day?

I thoroughly enjoyed this story, so well written, witty banter even is such dangerous times Maya has been a favourite of mine from the team and I love Neon such a caring loving hero. This is a story and series that I highly recommend, Kendall Talbot puts her characters through so much in her stories that makes them even better. And of course catching up with the team and their partners was awesome. Thank you Kendall Talbot for another fabulous story I am looking forward to Viper’s story.

Each entry in the Alpha Tactical Ops series is a burst of adrenaline and a rush to the finish. There is no taking one’s time once the book is opened and the pounding pace that rivets the reader in place doesn’t let up until the last page flutters shut. And, this latest was no exception.

Rescue Mission is the third book of the standalone yet connected adventures in the Alpha Tactical Ops romantic suspense series.

Maya is an ex-army sniper, a cool friend, an adventure guide, and a woman with dark, disturbing secrets. Her team can count on her and so can anyone she is on security detail to guard. And, this includes hotter than hot Hollywood leading men who suddenly finds himself in need of a new body guard.
Maya barely has time to get off the boat on the secluded island off the Australian coast and step into the sidelines on the movie set where her new job is playing an action hero when all hell breaks loose.
Neon Bloom has his own dark secrets and this isn’t a first attempt to take him hostage for ransom and it isn’t even the second- thus the security people. Who is the amazing woman with steel in her eyes, a precise trigger finger, and a body that puts in the shade the perfect sculpted forms he sees in Hollywood? They come from two different worlds, but as each moment of survival passes, he grows more determined to stick close to Maya and he can only hope she feels the same.

Rescue Mission was as pulse-pounding as the earlier entries and I loved the way Maya really shone forth as a lethal, capable, and cunning member of her team especially when she is forced to work alone protecting Neon. She was up against trained mercs and their cold leader. She had very little other than her wits and a bit of luck. It was exciting, heady reading.

But, the author matches all that action with superb character and relationship development for Maya and Neon and between them. They are reliant on each other and in the high pressure situation can share with a relative stranger what they couldn’t with people they have known much longer and this was freeing and allowed for a deeper connection to form. They were sexy, but not stupid. Maya kept them on track.

I enjoyed getting a few scenes with the whole team together and still putting pieces on the board to solve the mystery behind what had happened to them earlier. The camaraderie is great and I really hope Viper, the cranky one gets his story next.

All in all, it was wow-worthy and I read it in a rush because I was into it so much. Action and adventure loving romantic suspense fans who want the exotic locales and situations really need to take the plunge into this book/series.

I LOVE the Alpha Tactical Ops books, and this one had me so gripped I hadn’t realised that I had come to the end of the book until I saw ‘The End’ most upsetting!

We’ve followed Blade and Levi’s adventures, now it’s Maya’s turn. This book tells a story with Maya as a lead character and also goes into her past and what makes her what she is today. Kendall really sets these scenes so well that even though you’ve never been to these places they are so easy to see, every detail.

The plot is as action packed as always, with twists and turns along the way. And of course there is romance too! The characters are so well written, you can’t help liking them all (well the good guys anyway!)

I cannot wait to read Viper’s story in book 4! Is he in love with Maya?? Please hurry with this one!!

Oh wow. I LOVED RESCUE MISSION. It might be my favourite book of the series, which says a lot because I loved Blade and Zena's story so much. Rescue Mission hooked right from the first chapter. I love how the story goes from Maya's viewpoint to Neon's viewpoint, it made me fall in love with both characters and it helped understand each character so much. I can't wait to read Viper's story and find out what makes him so grumpy.

Kendall Talbot has done it again with her new book Rescue Mission!

Rescue Mission (Book Three in the Alpha Tactical Ops Series) is full of heart pounding action, life threatening adventure and steamy romance scenes sprinkled in for good measure.

I loved reading about Maya and Neon, their witty banter was pure perfection.

Kendall Talbot is a MUST read author! I HIGHLY recommend any of her books!

This is the third in this series, I have loved both of them that I have rad so far. They can be read as a standalone, however there is an unlaying story also that has spanned the series. When she is tasked with protecting a Hollywood star, she is expecting to be bored and annoyed the whole time. What she gets is plenty of excitement and surprises.

Kendall Talbot is one of my favourite authors.Once again she wrote a book that you just can't stop reading. I couldn't wait to see how the two main characters were going to overcome their different lifestyles and find how they were going to have a life together.

This is the 3rd book of the Alpha Tactical Ops series. It can be read as a standalone but the others are worth reading too and will give you a better insight on one of the mystery going on.
The author really transports you to this abandoned island and beautiful jungle setting, making it so easy to picture it all.
The suspense and fast paced action made it impossible for me to put the book down so I binged it through the night. I loved seeing Maya and Neon slowly break down all their barriers and get closer as there is so much more to both characters than what meets the eye...it doesn't hurt that they are both hot either!
If you like strong independent kick-ass female leads, you will absolutely love Maya! I think she is an amazing character and she probably made this book the best on of the series so far for me!
I would recommend it for anyone who likes gripping adrenaline packed stories, suspense and a bit of romance sprinkled on top.

I absolutely loved loved loved this book it is probably my favourite in the series so far. The detailed description made it feel like you were there. Getting to learn about Maya the strong, independent, kickass women and why she joined the army to falling in love and saving the life of the only person able to break down the barriers she's built. I was hooked on the first page and couldn't put it down. Can't wait to find out about Viper and uncover more of the mystery behind the death of their friend and teammate and how it all fits together.

Maya is hire as a bodyguard for Neon, hunk and Hollywood action-star. She gets more than she bargained for when she ends up in the middle of a hostage situation. Can she save Neon and the hostages? Non-stop action with some romance. And just when you think things have settled down, it all starts all over again with even more action and thrilling adventures, and, of course, more romance. Loved it and would definitely recommend this 3rd book in the series. Helpful to have read the previous two books because of cross-over characters but not necessary.

Book three of the Alpha tactical ops book tells the story of super sniper Maya and Hollywood action hero Neon. Despite thinking they have nothing in common Maya and Neon are drawn together as they struggle to survive a hostage situation and search for truth about whose behind it all. A great read. This book doesn’t really progress the theme of what happened in Kazakhstan that has linked the previous two but it is mentioned.

Edge of your seat suspense and danger, with laughter on the side. I loved Maya and Neon's story. We already know Maya is a fierce independent woman, and Neon is drawn to that from the get-go. These two have a major fight on their hands to survive, which they win....and a major fight to not strangle each other at times...which they also win. And Neon refuses to give up once he realizes who Maya is to him, fighting for their HEA.

An adventure from the beginning. I stayed up late and read and woke up early and read. Enjoyed it from the beginning to the end. Adventure, romance, more adventure, more romance. This can be read as a stand alone or one of the Alpha Tactical Ops series. I would recommend reading them all.

Rescue Mission, #3 - More fun, action, excitement and romance are found in this story. It is so hard to put down any book by the talented Ms. Talbot. Yes, the bedroom isn't only open but you, too, in the room, raft, etc. I skip the sex scenes and edit out some of the vulgar language but any book by Ms. Talbot is worth reading. There is plenty of happenings for Ghost and Neon adding to their romantic beginnings. Well blended are the old story lines with the new. While each book is great on its own, there are foundation stories continuing but no cliffhangers! 5*

Escape Mission, #1 - I love anything I've read so far by this talented, wacky author. Wacky as in full of personality, laughter and enjoying life to its fullest. This book, like so many others, is full of excitement, danger, intrigue, good characters and good story lines. There is romance, too. The romantic are always in heat, and I will admit that's a bit distracting in several places in this book. I have a hard time believing a professional soldier, Special Forces Ops to boot, would let T&A interfere with his planning and thoughts when they are about to get involved with some bad business that could get them killed. She is out of her experience field and should only care that part filling out the seat of his jean's is keeping her pants safe. Otherwise, this is an awesome read! Multiple stories all well blended into a hard to put down read. Although flawed, from battles, the crew is a bunch of likeable, realistic folk. The civilians have their baggage, too, but go well with the rest. Not many of the baddies are known but even baddie Marcus is OK. 5*

Hostile Mission, #2 - Begins two months after Escape ends. Told from Levi's point of view, his romance, too. Interesting. Intense. Intriguing. Lots of action and events running through these story lines. An old enemy rears its ugly head while the gang works a job on the South Pole. Some hairy bits that add to making it hard to put this book down. A new love; new jobs; new characters. 5*

If you have ever read a Kendall Talbot book then you know that you are in for a roller coaster of a ride. In her latest, Maya, a former medic and sniper, is hired as a bodyguard for actor Neon Bloom. Filming on an island off the coast of Australia, Maya has barely settled in when the set is overrun by armed men and hostages are taken. Maya manages to get away with Neon, but he was the main objective. The group’s leader threatens to start shooting hostages unless he gives himself up. As a child, Neon had been kidnapped and hidden in a well for several days. Coming from a very wealthy family there have also been several unsuccessful kidnapping attempts. What he does not know is that Maya belongs to a tactical operations group. She calls on the group to help free the hostages, but the man who organized the kidnapping gets away.

Maya and Neon have not been together for long, but there is an obvious connection developing between them. She is not comfortable with his celebrity lifestyle. She told him that she was a medic in the military but doesn’t know if he can accept her role as a sniper. Neon wants a life with Maya, but the constant threat of kidnapping and having bodyguards around him 24/7 is not the life that he wants any more. It is not until Maya walks away that he decides on a new path for his life.

While Rescue Mission can be read as a stand alone, it is the third book in this series and there are some references to their past missions. The action begins on the first pages and does not let up until the end. Talbot is a must read author for anyone looking for an adrenaline rush with a touch of romance. I was given a copy of this book by the author for my review. I have been a fan of her writing for some time and this is another thrilling read that is sure to please.

Hold on for a wild ride!

This book drew me in right from the start and kept my attention in a stranglehold until the very last page. I love a story with a strong female protagonist who is intelligent, courageous, and has a kick@ss skill set. Maya Grayson (aka Ghost), the female lead character, checks all those boxes and more. She accepts an assignment as a bodyguard for a rich, handsome movie star, Neon Bloom. How dreadful for her! She is positive she will hate every minute of the job. What she doesn’t know is that this job will present many more challenges than she could have imagined. When her client is kidnapped right off the movie set, Maya springs into action to rescue Neon. Maya has known violence, betrayal and danger during her time with the military but now she finds herself facing off against an unknown number of truly ruthless individuals that will do absolutely anything to collect a huge ransom for the rich movie star. This story is a fast-paced, adrenaline-fueled adventure filled with loads of action, desperate circumstances, long-buried childhood traumas and two main characters with undeniable chemistry who must confront their own demons as well as merciless criminals if they are to survive. In other words, another whopping good tale from the queen of action-packed romantic adventure.

Intense, action-packed, story that had me flipping quickly to the next page staying up after the electricity cut last night. Couldn’t put this book down once begun.

What I liked:
* Maya Grayson: ex-military sniper, combat veteran, member of Alpha Tactical Ops, strong, dedicated, determined, seeks revenge for her sister, team building adventure business, good friend, protective, caring, unwilling to invest emotions in dead-end relationships, attracted to Neon
* Neon Bloom: ex-stuntman, mega-star actor, wealthy, many kidnap attempts, phobia related to childhood kidnapping, distant relationship with parents, grew quite a bit in this book, attracted to Maya, has a few hopes and wishes he believes Maya and her team can help him with
* Getting to see the other members of the team and how they are doing
* The plot, pacing, tension, and writing
* Finding out who was behind the kidnapping attempt and their motivation
* The way the team came together, took action, and the outcome
* Wondering what is going on with Viper and if his story will be next
* The conclusion and looking forward to the next book in the series

What I didn’t like:
* Who and what I was meant not to like
* The ruthlessness of the kidnappers and how horrible they were

Did I enjoy this book? Yes
Would I read more in this series? Definitely

Rescue Mission (Alpha Tactical Ops Book 3) is Ghost’s, codename for ex-army sniper, Maya Grayson story. This story begins with a ride over rapids which turns out to be the slow part of Maya’s day. From there it revs up to an almost non-stop survival. Like the first two books in the series by Kendall Talbot this is one adrenaline rush after another until the final climatic conclusion.

The Alpha Tactical Ops Co. is up and running. None is more fiercely dedicated or dangerous than Maya. So pairing her up with “Hollywood’s Most Eligible Bachelor” which is another name for cocky playboy actor was a huge surprise to me. It is certainly true that this author is always changing the story up, writing plots that are fresh and unique, and giving us characters who are so much more than they appear at first. In addition are a couple of just as intriguing subplots that you want to know how they pan out.

Action paced with violence and some brutality; Rescue Mission is not a story for the faint of heart. Also there is much profanity and open bedroom doors. No cliffhangers. It is also a story that s hard to put down once you start reading. Recommended for the strong at heart who will cheer on the good guys.

I loved Rescue Mission, it's badass Maya's time to show what she's made of as well as lose her heart to Hollywood star Neon Bloom.

This is my favourite so far of this Alpha Tactical Ops series. Once again it's an action-packed ride as Maya is thrown into a dangerous situation when a bodyguard gig turns into a multiple hostage situation with the man she is protecting, Neon Bloom, being the prize that the bad guys want to get their hands on.

I enjoyed the banter between these two, even when they were in danger you could feel the undercurrents of attraction between them and the frustration from both parties with having to deal with each other along with their circumstances.

I enjoyed seeing both of these characters open up about their pasts and lay their feelings on the line, something neither has ever done before. I really enjoyed Maya and Neon as a couple and loved how they ended up together and that Maya was willing to give him her heart.

It was good to catch up with the Alpha Tactical Ops crew once again and see them working together and supporting each other in all ways. I'm looking forward to the next book and finding out more about Viper and why he's grumpy all the time.

Our heroine is good at her job, but she is going to need all her skills to get out of this one. Trying to protect our hero from a bunch of ruthless kidnappers while stranded on a deserted island is not exactly what she signed up for. But there is something about him that might make it worthwhile.

This is book three of the series, but it is written as a standalone. There are references to characters and events from the past book, but nothing essential to this story.

This is a romantic suspense story with an ex-military heroine. The story is well written and easy to read with a fast moving plot that has more than its share of complications for our hero and heroine. The characters are well developed and have a lot of depth to them, including some past traumas that make it rather angsty at times. Fortunately, there is plenty of action to keep things focused and the slow burn chemistry between our characters is fun to watch. Overall, this was a fun and enjoyable story and I can't wait to see the next book in the series.

Another awesome addition to this series. This is Maya, code name Ghost and Neon Bloom, the Hollywood star and most eligible bachelor’s story. It is a fast paced, action packed adventure from start to finish. Coming from an extremely wealthy family plus his own fame and fortune, Neon Bloom has been the target of kidnappings for ransom from the time he was 9 yrs old. That experience left a huge mark on Mark that he still has nightmares over. When Neon’s latest bodyguard is injured and leaves his employ, Maya is hired to be his new bodyguard. From the moment he met her, he felt more safe with her then the guards who had been with him for years. When an attempt is made on his latest movie set, and the real bullets are flying, Maya and Neon are left to defend themselves and try to stay alive until she can get a notice to the Alpha Tactical team for backup and help. Great story that is a page turner with plenty of danger, suspense, murder, ruthless kidnappers and a strong attraction between Neon and Maya. I highly recommend this series, you won’t be disappointed.

Well what a ride
I just love kendalls humour. I expected Ghost to be all serious and unattainable but I listened with hilarity at some of her dry witty one liners...or rather Kendall's.
The plot was amazingly paced with lots of action, suspense and a tad of steam. All the action started almost immediately as the H and h had drama and decisions to make on a small island.
I wasn't sure if i was keen on Neon as he seemed to be a bit of a dick and a pussy.
But his character was perfectly paired with Ghost as she was such a badass. In my opinion, Neon needed to be able to hold his own while letting Maya do her thing. His sense of humour seemed to compliment hers and i loved the brilliant plotline and how it all came together at the end. It was definitely a different idea and I absolutely loved it, as I laughed, held my breath and sighed in relief, all the way to the finish.
Unlike book 2, which was action and in your face from go to wo, this one was a little more light-hearted in between the suspense. Mainly due to the humour.
I'm so looking forward to Vipers book. He's such a cranky alpha, I just know it'll be great.
I absolutely love Justine's voice, her accent keeps getting better with each book. Antony Davis was a first listen for me and I enjoyed his voice.

From the first page I was sucked into this story until the very last word. This story kept me engaged both intellectually and emotionally. It was a rollercoaster ride and I loved every minute of it and I am looking forward to the next book in the series.
Maya is a former sniper who now runs an adventure company that teaches executives to become team players. I loved what she put those guys through. She then gets hired through Alpha Tactical Ops to be a bodyguard to Neon Boom for three days.

Feelings that both are trying to deny in spite of the lusty thoughts they are beginning to have. If you are waiting for a book where the woman is not a victim or sexual object, but a strong, capable, sexy woman, this is your book! The action is fast and exciting, and the characters Maya and Neon are compelling. I thoroughly recommend this book. This is one series that I absolutely know I will not be putting down until I turn the last page and that it is going to be an adrenaline filled ride from almost the first page and this latest addition is non exception.

In this the third instalment we get Maya's story she is the ex army sniper that has deep dark secrets but that doesn't mean she always protects her team and her latest client and her latest client just happens to be heartthrob Hollywood actor Neon Bloom he has had multiple kidnap attempts and now with his latest movie filming in Australia it has been decided he needs a bodyguard. Soon these two are throwing sparks of one another she hates his cocky personality and he hates her just because she is a bodyguard but as they spend more time together they realise that first impressions aren't always right and a attraction builds between them but she still has to keep him safe something that may not be so easy

🎥🪖True badass h. Which is very rare. And a H whose ego doesn't get hurt because of that and doesn't treat her like a wild pet. He actually depends on her willingly.
🎥🪖Jeez Maya you don't have to flaunt how much worse you had every other paragraph. It's not a competition.

🎥🪖I knew they're not gonna finish all loose ends. *Sigh* I would have read another book for that but they never continue with the same characters. You left us hanging with Neon and Maya's story thn you should pick it up with them as well na. 😞 But no I'm sure they'll continue with different set of characters as main. I really wanted to know what happened next with Neon declared dead and more so I wanted to see Maya's father punished badly.
