Sweet, short, and to the point! Covers a great range of info without filler. Very much appreciate the index of helpful GPS coordinates. Will be taking with us on our trip as it’s a very travel convenient size.
This is a handy, quick read with lots of tips and tricks for planning a vacation in Iceland. This book has everything you need to know from when you start planning your trip till you are on your way home. What to eat, where to go, tips for driving, tours, where to stay, etc. all in one handy place. I had already done some research when I read this and I still made notes of things that were helpful that I hadn't seen anywhere else.
I was actually surprised at how useful this book was on our trip. It is filled with very useful tips for driving especially and some really good tips for under appreciated locations. It also recommended the grapevine magazine which really put us in touch with what was going on in Reykjavik while we were in town.
Wonderful information and tips in this book! Light enough to bring with us on our trip to Iceland, very practical and easy to read! Two of my friends borrowed it for their (separate) vacations to Iceland.
