Emma That night, seven years ago, had been the worst night of her life. She had been attacked and would probably have been killed if it weren’t for him. Beau - the man who had killed for her. Of course, she had never forgotten him, and now she was ready to find him to thank him in person. What she hadn’t expected was how her body reacted to his presence and how his dominant personality made her finally feel safe.
Beau When she walked into his gym, Beau recognized her at once. It had been seven years, and not a day had gone by without wondering if she was okay... But the eyes that looked back at him now weren't those of the wounded child he had rescued that night. She was an adult now, and everything about her made his protective Daddy instincts come to life, and he knew that the little girl he'd been searching for had found him. Could he convince her that he was the Daddy she so badly needed?
Kate Oliver has aspired to be an author all her life. From the time she was known as "that girl who always has her nose stuck in a book", Kate Oliver has wanted to be a writer. Currently, fetish romance is her favorite for both reading and writing. Kate has been a part of the fetish community for many years, and strives to write stories that realistically reflect that lifestyle. Her favorite part of writing her own books is dreaming up the hot and steamy, yet loving and strict, Daddies that Littles dream about.

3.5 stars. Wow. Talk about sweet. I really loved this couple’s story. The FMC gets attacked when she’s about 15, and I think Beau is about 29ish, and he comes to her rescue in more ways than one. After that they both think about each other for over 7 years (in different ways, Beau isn’t a perv) and finally she comes back to town and shows up at his gym to thank him for saving her life back then. And of course once Beau sees her all grown up, it’s love at first sight. Not that he acts on that right away.
I loved how the dynamic was explained and set up. I loved how their relationship progressed. I Loved the found-family feel that all of the books in this series have.
And I can not wait to read Wolf’s book and then Leo’s book, too! So happy to have found another author I like in the DD/lg genre.
This is the 3rd book in the series, the story of Beau and Emma. I seriously think this is my favorite of the series so far. Beau and Emma genuinely got to know about each other. We also got to see the 3 girls become friends and how they interacted as a family. I love this series so much and can’t wait for the next book! I also think that although there is not sex till later in the book, there is still plenty of “sexy times” leading up to the actual deed. I also love the dogs in this book. Cinnamon is awesome and I love her story. Give me a sexy alpha man and a dog and you’ve got me hooked!
Wow. What an inspirational and sweet story. Beau and Emma are absolutely perfect for each other. Kate Oliver knows her Daddies and the Littles that complete them. Fate brought them together when a orphaned teenage Emma really needed a hero then went their separate ways. Five years later, Emma never forgot the man who saved her life. Saving innocents is what Beau and his family do after the death of their sister and mother, but one of those Beau has saved never left his heart or mind. Years after that faithful night Emma and Beau come together again and both their lives are changed forever. This is the perfect love story with just enough drama and suspense to keep you turning the page and grabbing your tissues. If you love Daddies and their forever Littles and a book where the good guys win, then you need to grab yourself a copy of Beau by Kate Oliver. You won't be disappointed. kate-oliver
Beau is the third book in the Shadows series. As we saw with the first two books, Beau is a brother to both Knox and Ash. He meets Emma and boy does she bring his Daddy instincts out. Kate does a beautiful job bringing the characters and their relationships to life. Emma is my favorite female character so far. Beau was a great read. I can't wait for the next book to see who finds their happily ever after next!
Kate is my go-to fave for DD/lg stories. No one does them better. I laugh, I cry, I squeeze my thighs...repeatedly!
Loved Beau and Emma. Adored the storyline, and I can't get enough of this series. Thank you for the foresight to ensure enough BROTHERS to keep this going.
Top 5 favorite series hands down!
Wolf! Wolf! Wolf! I am salivating awaiting his story!!!
This series by Kate Oliver has quickly become a favorite. Emma and Beau's story starts out with a bang and just keeps going. I was quickly transported to the world. The "brothers" are all Daddies and are very protective of women, especially their own. I couldn't put this book down and am eagerly waiting for more. Beau is the perfect Daddy for Emma.
Beau is the most perfect daddy for Emma! She didn't even know it was what she needed! This was another wonderful book by Kate Oliver! Wonderful characters throught the series and this book! The storyline just kept developing and was great! Definitely a must read!
This author is talented, her writing is witty, charming, romantic, emotional and a little dirty. This story had me laughing so hard one minute and crying the next. The abuse and neglect of a foster child and fight dogs, who are desperately in need of saving and loving our hero Beau steps up. Daddy to the rescue. A very heartwarming story. Can't wait for the next story in the series.
This time we get to read about Beau. I had the same DD /lg plot. I didn't think it was as good as the first two. I liked them trying to solve the dog fighting but that waa solved in a few pages. That plot point could have been dragged out a little as there wasn't much else.
I love this series from this author. However I would like to fix two things. The whole temporary daddy thing was unnecessary. It wasn’t in the story enough to be a plot point. Two this is the second story where I feel like we missed most of the action. Both in the fights and in the bedroom. I feel like if this writer is going to continue with the series I would like more detail for action scenes.
A fantastic edition to the series Kate. I love these books I can’t put them down. I get lost inside them and feel like I am right there with them all. Each character we learn more about with each book gives you a greater connection to family and love. I can’t wait for more.
this series is quickly becoming a favorite of mine, this is book 3 in the Daddies of the Shadows series, they are a continuation of a family of brothers who are all very possessive & loving daddies.
book 3 is about Emma & Beau. I loved this story & how it all played out. Kate has continued to keep me intrigued while simultaneously getting me amped up for the next book & couple to come. I am so excited to see what comes next on this series!!
This book is even better then the last. You feel every emotion every thought. Even love jumps out of this book from dog to human friend or foe you'll love this series. Theres truly nothing you wouldn't do for family. Well done kate well done
Kate I love your books. Keep writing and I'll keep buying. I read a lot. Never watch TV. This series is right at the top of my favorites. If you enjoy these type of books this series is great. Great read written by a wonderful writer. Well done.
This story has the potential to be so many different kinds of book! Same characters just different points of interest. That being said, this is a DD/LG story. So nice, so dirty. Definitely worth reading.
This has been such an enjoyable series, I always look forward to getting to read the next one! I can’t wait for all the brothers to get their happily ever after!
The book that took me out of my sickly girl book slump 🤙🏼
For how short this is, it read like a slowburn and I was here for it 😏 Not much spice, but this was so heartfelt and tender and erotic in it's own way that I was just captivated from start to finish.
Emma and Beau is so far my fave from the series 👌🏼💚
I love the Daddies of the Shadows series. Each book leaves me wanting the next. Beau is a great story and builds upon the previous stories (but can be read as a standalone). Even though this story is great - it really left me wanting Hawk's story and hoping to see is Happily Ever After.
